Mothering Sunday:- Decor poor, ambiance lacking; when asked for a glass for a bottle of Bud, a sleever pint glass provided! No ice available behind the bar, & the glasses were smeared & dirty. Children chasing each other, “playing loudly “ throughout the premises, with no parental control, or staff intervention. Unable to speak to the manager, who “unfortunately was not available!” Food mediocre at best, Hunters Chicken “zapped in the microwave “ peas like lead shot! Very poor experience. Has slipped considerably since my last visit some 5 years ago.

Visited today, had the best roast dinner, three had beef and one had chicken, ample portions,definitely compliments to the chef, lovely food and lovely staff. Ray & Jackie.

Stopped of for a quick Sunday Roast with Hubby on a busy day. Had a lovely Roast - well cooked with hubby. Gravy could have had a bit more flavour as a bit tasteless but saying that the rest was nice :) Service always friendly and reasonably priced will return again soon. Maybe this Sunday ? lol :) would recommend

Chicken missing. Phoned & guy who prepd admitted he didnt add it & apologized, manager said couldnt do anything as rest of food was put on a plate! Its now my fault? Paid for chicken but zero chicken in meal! No refund/credit/send out offered by M.
