Chopstix Noodle Bar in Hounslow

Really disappointed with the quality of their food. Bought quick takeaway medium box on way home from Chopstix hounslow treaty centre and when got home and opened the box, the rice and noodles weren't fresh and had funny smell. Had to throw away the whole box and my hard earned money paid for the food

I cant comment on the food as Have not eaten here. My problem is the hygiene of the gentleman sitting behind counter picking at his teeth with his blue gloves on and then when a customer arrives serves him with the same gloves. Also note he was picking food with the tongs and eating food. Pretty gross in my opinion. If he hasn't had a hygiene and food saftey course I suggest you send him on one.

I always go to Treaty Centre and eat my food at Chopstix Noodle Bar. Since few months I have been noticing why people don't eat at Chopstix and eat in other Restaurant at Food Court. The reason is behind the staff who is very rude and don't know how to talk with the customers. I think he is Polish..I click his photo along with Restaurant picture. I took large Box where he gave me lots of Rice and less Noodles and topping very less portion of 2 chicken and one less portion of Beef which was very Salty. When I eat one small piece of beef I reported to that staff he he instead of listening shown me big attitude and telling me why u choose beef as it's always salty. When I told him it never been salty when I have eaten before he just told me pls go away. That was very rude behavior. I would never ask my friends to go again to Chopstix Noodle Bar if the company keeps like that staff. I can't find to attached the photo of the staff.

Bad service . 1. Cleaning products chemicals used and with same gloves food served. 2. Card payment first then only will be served. 3. Eating on counter while serving customers . No ethics.

Few months before I would have given more starts however, recently they are filling the boxes with more rice and less toppings and as it already was the price is high which does not feel like you got what you paid for. Food is tasty and way better than Brixton one.

Nasty food. And RUDE POLISH man 🤡👨🏻‍🦲serving. New friendlier stuff should work here atleast. The Eastern Europeans should not work in costumer service. Stick to cleaning toilets & getting drunk!

Over priced wouldn’t recommend the staff are really rude and the food is dry and old. When I asked them to change it they refused.

Too pricy for a small box of already prepaired "chinese" noodles with some peaces of chicken. The food isn't hot. The noodles tasted like they were from yesterday. The staff wasn't very friendly. In Hounslow on Highstreet there are better ways to eat chinese noodles (at the Hounslow Market Place for example). Or go to the Burger King...

Got medium box sweet sour chicken and bbq chicken. Too hard to eat and not edible. Manager lady is indenial saying the chicken is fine and would not give me refund after going back and forth. Decided to get Thai curry but they gave me small box with one portion when I paid for medium box. Just wanted to leave as I wasted my lunch break there. Will not be returning!!!!

No chopsticks, dry food and plain noodles. Staff picking at food in trays with fingers.

Was nicely surprised by quality of food. Long time haven't had so tasty noodles. Asked for the chicken on the side as my son is vegetarian and wouldn't as it needs to be in the same box they said and wouldn't even put in the napkin. Over priced £5.50 for small box of noodles.

The food is OK but the staff is rude (esp the blond European lady). Stuffed the boxes with loads of rice and only put 3-4 small pieces of chicken in them! When I challenged this i was told she was in charge!! Enough, u've lost a customer that ate there at least twice a week!

£5.50 for a small box, £6.50 for a medium box and £7.50 for a large box and the size difference is minimal. It’s gets packed to the brim with rice or noodles and the toppings are so few you feel like you’re forcing yourself through a meal instead of enjoying it.

Finally I received the text message we have been waiting for for 3 months, my favourite noodle bar is open today and back in business. Fabulous food, friendly face and excellent food and value for money. Love this place we have 3 months to make up for now!!!! Highly recommended.

If you want something different from your regular meal once in a while. Medium should be good quantity

Very bad experience I had today at this restaurant. It should be closed at 17:00 but when I have arrived there was 16:38 and the shop assistant said, sorry the restaurant is closed already. Very bad service.

I tried the noodles with two toppings of salt and pepper chicken and mixed vegetables. Whilst the chicken was tasty, I found the noodles to be extremely bland. They did not taste like the type of noodles you would get from a chinese takeaway so I am sceptical about the authenticity of the food. The price was ok, however I would recommend anyone who wants noodles with actual flavour to look elsewhere!

Rice and Noodles dry and tasteless. 'topping' however tasted nice. staff were friendly. Only 2 varieties of drinks available and although advertised they no longer stock or sell and sides. dismal place I will not be returning.

Loved the food and great choice

Helpful staff though they could be a bit more amiable or friendly. The food is nice and the portions are very decent for the price you pay. Bonus that a lot of stuff is also halal.

Food are pretty basic, nothing special, just usual Chinese stuff. Eat here if you're desperate. Staff seems like not happy with her job.

Just got a medium meal from here. Food looked really appealing but very bad at taste. The prices are too high. You could get a better meal at a restaurant for the same price. :(

It's always short on staff very few options

They must have a new chef who needs improving... lately they manage to ruin both the rice and noodles.

Quality is going down hill and price remain sky-high. Not very good options for vegetarians. Used to be good when launched but not anymore.

Went to get a Katsu Chicken for my wife and self on the 16 Dec 2018. Had to wait a long time in the queue as only one staff serving. The lady cut the chicken onto the rice, so far so good. Then she was about to pour a standard curry sauce onto our food. I stopped her and repeated that I want a Katsu Chicken not general token curry sauce. To my astonishment, she said it’s still a Katsu even with a different sauce (?!?!?) and tried to argue with me. She added that the Chef (who looked bemused behind her) does not make that sauce and hasn’t done so for a while. I thought to my self that they have obviously miss-sold to customers on an ongoing basis. I simply walked away. I was so annoyed that the next day I decided to complain via their feedback page. I received an automated email response saying they will get back to me. It is now the 14th Jan 2019 and nothing. I will be speaking with trading standards. Do Not Eat Here as it follows that if they are not bothered about this, who knows about their hygiene and prep.

Once we take away some sweet and sour chicken, when bring home chicken was raw so disopointed.

Rude Manager..Worst Customer Service EVER!!! Went to get some lunch today..European Lady on the counter..Asked if I can Mix and Match and she pointed at the Board..Asked her if I can get something which is not sweet..She points at the Food labels and asked me "Can you read" to which I replied Ofcourse I can.. Then I asked her if the Veg Curry was same as the Thai Chicken Curry next to it and she again rudely just pointed at the Food labels..I asked her to add some more sauce from the Black Bean Chicken and she didn't do that..When I asked her again she shouted "I heard you" and went to the check-out counter and put one small tub of Chilli sauce on my tray..She added 25p on the till ans since I only had the exact change I told her I haven't got the 25p..She gave me a nasty smile and took the chilli sauce away..I got really upset and asked her that I don't want to eat here and she said sure "Should I throw your food in the Bin".. When i demanded to see the Manager as her attitude stinked she said I am the Manager and that was a shock..I told her she needs to work on her service and she waved at me and said "Goodbye".. Absolutely shocked..No wonder the place was empty..This attitude towards customers is not going to take this place too far.

Food is good, but not enough for the money

When I found out they were opening a chopstix in Hounslow it excited. Not only is the food really tasty but also the price and portion you get is worth it. I would recommend it for anyone, anywhere.

Now charges for soy sauce?? Jokers..

Food was pretty grim. You get a box full of dry noodles and a scoop of processed chicken bites for £6.

Nice portion of fast Chinese food.

Healthy and a great price. Great variety chicken with noodles. So you get a beautiful delicious healthy tasty meal for the same price as a McDonald's! Good friendly service with a smile. Cannot rate this enough. High quality evening restuarant prices for £5 (noodles with chicken). Get the impression its a small family owned business. Much better than a faceless corporation.

Very rude staff. They need to be trained before serving a customer. The worse customer service I have ever seen in my life. Specially the boys working on the counter outside. Never going there again.

The staff is very rude. I was with my daughters there checking the menu , one of the staff asked me can i help you.I replied i am checking the menu they started talking in their own language and start laughing. I said to the guy ..you being very rude...he said i am just joking. Rude staff

Relatively inexpensive cheap chinese food. This place serves halal meat. Similar to quick Chinese restaurants in Central London based on the taste of the food. Worth it if you happen to be in Hounslow and feel like a quick Chinese lunch. The portions are decent in size and the rice and noodles taste fresh.

Expensive but good quality food

Oyster Sauce chicken was over cooked and the staff was refusing to accept that the food is over cooked always have had better experience than this

Expensive for what you get. We ordered the BBQ and asked if it was spicy and were told that it was not and when we sat down none of the kids could stomach it. Staff were not willing to resolve it. Won't be back - my advice - walk a short distance and go to one of the restaurants instead.

It was a mistake, food is not very good and the prices are too much for the quality you are getting. Won't buy from here again.
