Punjabi Spice is now permanently closed which is a shame as the food in there was lovely along with the 2 main staff members who were also great.

The staff were rude and the fish was stale. Had to go home to eat a packet of ready made noodles for dinner. Fish was dry and stale and when we spoke to the staff about it they said thats just how our food is.

Small portions, less meat in dishes, can taste a bit stale at times. Will not be eating here again. Was told the food was freshly made but clearly it had not been freshly prepared. Total food bill comes up to alot and therefore the quality should be better...

Nice food. They can make the food extra spicy if you like it like that. Take your own alcohol place although they do serve some beers and spirits. Can be quiet compared to some of the other local Indian restaurants but sometimes it's better that way.I'd recommend this place.

food was cooked well and ample sized portions service was good and the restaurant was clean and well decorated although I arrived 5 mins before closing time I was served without the 'come on hurry up' attitude some restaurants have when they are about to close which was nice

in Hounslow on business and working close by, the restaurant looked busy with the locals and I was not disappointed. I had the butter chicken with rice and a nan bread, washed down with a bottle of Kingfisher.Good portions, I was stuffed.Staff very welcoming and friendly.Hopefully back in the area again to go back.

Had a take away and the cuisine was below average in taste and neither did it taste fresh. With what they have on offer currently I wouldn't go back here myself and neither would I recommend this place to friends or family. It is a shame as location and venue are nice and service was good. It is also overpriced compared to some of the restaurants in the area. That would have been acceptable though if the quality was good.

I have been to this restaurant three times now and the food NEVER fails to impress. It is bursting with flavour and reminiscent of home cooked Punjabi food unlike many commercial Indian restaurants in West London. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated straight away. Obviously the initial emptiness of the restaurant would put off some customers-but I have to say this didnt stop me returning and having spoken to the owner, he mentioned the restuarant has recently moved from further up the road. Upon arrival, we were given complementary popadums and chutney. Our food didnt take long to arrive but was well worth any wait. I would highly recommend the chili mogo starter which is spicy and tasteful. The curries are also delicious and not oily! The garlic naan is made freshly too and is served warm and fluffy with fresh garlic and coriander. The staff are very attentive and friendly, the gentleman who I believed to be the owner was also very chatty and appreciated our comments about the food. This restaurant has a family run feel to it, and is quite far from a pretentious atmosphere. If you are looking for traditional Punjabi cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere, you should definitley try this place out!

Indian & ethnic food are your very best bet for a healthy meal which doesn't cost a fortune. I've found UK prices from 20-40% higher than the same product in the USA with food, in a restaurant & staying in a hotel. However budget shoppers like myself try to be aware of the most reasonable prices for the best quality. None of the food I ever order is fried. The service at this restaurant was good. The waiter made a suggestion of punjabi fish(tilapia) which had some different spices I found delicious. It comes out steaming on a bed of onions. The fish was well prepared & not dry... Beware, punjabi food is generally spicy & there are degrees of hot, lol. I also ordered the Tandoori chicken. I found a few dry pieces of baby chicken & than the rest was very tender & could be easily cut with the side of a fork. I also ordered a onion kulka which was warm, soft & filled with cooked onions. The fish & the chicken tandoori were presented on steaming iron skillets & the aroma was filled the restaurant. The bill was 12 pounds which by UK standards is good.

Was so desperate to find Asian food nearby the hotel (staying in Holiday Inn West Drayton). And found this restaurant. Just across from the nearest tube station from the hotel (forgot the name).Thank God. Food was nice. A bit more expensive compared to another city in UK, but worth it.

We go to this restaurant every week. The service is polite and efficient, you can take your own alcohol (spirits only), the atmosphere is lively / busy but the reason why I come here every week is the food. The quality of the food is indescribable. I would recommend the following dishes Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Korma (mild) and Saag Panner (veg). I would also recommend eating this the "Indian way" and sharing a few dishes with some Garlic and Chilli Naan as opposed to restricting yourself to one dish. Saturday nights are very busy so I would book in advance for a good table (carpet area). Go to this restaurant - you won't be disappointed!

Had our son's first birthday dinner at punjabi spice on wednesday. Thank you so much to the owner and staff for giving us such a great experience. This place is reasonably priced, food was amazing as always. Every guest loved the food, staff was very effiecient and helpful. Our every need was catered for. Everytime we needed anything you just had to lift your head and someone was there to take our request.Overall a great experience and we are glad we choose punjabi spice for our son's first birthday dinner. No complaints whatsoever and we look forward to having our regular dining and celebrating those special occasions at punjabi spice in the future.

Went there with a group of friends for dinner. All the nearby places being packed and busy this all the only place which only had few tables occupied. Soon found out the reason for that too. After getting seated it took 10 mins for the first contact of the staff and menus only arrived after asking for it.Had to wait another 15 mins for somebody to take the order. It took about 15 mins for food to arrive and at the same time asked the waiter to double the order for breads.Half way through the meal we ran out of breads waited another 20 mins, no acknowledgement of any staff. asked for the manager to complaint, will have to agree that all of us being from hospitality background, never ever came across such an arrogant and rude manager. Instead of apologising was being told not even asked to cancel the rest of the order and we were left hungry in the middle of the meal.Seeing this another 3 tables who just walked in decided to leave. Paid for the bill for 60pounds and gave the manger a tip of 20 pounds and advised home to buy a big lock for the front door because with that kindo attitude you cannot. Run a food outlet. If you wanna spoil your evening feel free to go there for crap service rubbish food and overly priced menu.

The food at Punjabi spice is excellent- though I have had the odd variable order. There is none of the floating oils found in the nearby Karahi Express- why people go there god only knows.Sevice can be a bit chilled, but better than the over attentive waiters. Like most Indian resteraunts, deserts are a bit naff

Five star service from polite and friendly staff. A member of our party did not eat food made with onions and garlic and management ensured that our needs were catered for.Indo Chinese chef is excellent. You must try the soups and noodles : you will definitely want to go back for more. Indian dishes are very tasty........not too oily or spicy. Hariyali fish tikka and dal makhni are outstanding. Great value for money.

Received an unsolicited call from this place claiming to be from Three. Guy hung up on me so I phoned back. Same guy said I wasn't speaking English and hung up again. Phoned back and a different guy answered asking if I wanted curry. Suspect they have a side business phishing.

I bought 6 plates of Dahi wada for guests. When we served to our horror it was extremely hot. God knows what kind of chillies they had added. I can handle spicy food, however this was another level! When we called them I was told that I had asked for a spicy version. This never happened, hence this review. I have been going to this establishment since 2012 and before COVID the standards where much higher. After COVID something has changed, the food, staff and service all has dropped considerably. It is a shame as it used to be a good restaurant and now it is best to avoid.

The ambience is really good the deco and the location itself is perfect, food is average not that great , the service we received was appauling. Waited more then 15 minutes before we were served. There was a private birthday party and hence we felt most staff were more concerned about that, ignoring the fact that a customer is a customer. Personally I wouldnt come here again. Free parking for about 15 cars is available outside the restaurant.
