Chopstix - Craig Tara (Haven) in South Ayrshire

I know it’s Halloween but I didn’t expect to be served by zombies, really bad service. Everything either not available or had to wait for it. Gone down hill.

Don't do chips, rice always severely overcooked, noodles only come with veg, poor availability on advertised products, service really slow, ran by kids (sorry young people)

Been here for the week, had a few meals but collected every time, food was great service a little slow but was very busy.

Food decent, staff incompetent, card machine useless

Staff incompetent. Food was cold and 30 minutes late. Things missing from the order. Went down and had the excuse they've ran out yet still took the money and never informed me. No apology. Don't understand why they offer service when it's poor.

I'll give an honest review of this establishment, as I feel a lot of the 1 Star Reviews aren't worth 1 ⭐. Yes, we ordered food to be delivered for 6:15pm and it didn't turn up until after 6:45pm. But, this was due to the large amount of people that I walked past around 6:00pm. Understandably the delay in food been delivered was due to this queue. I'd advise anybody to order earlier to have their food delivered around 30 mins later than planned, for it to arrive at your actual required time. When we got the food, it was still warm and it tasted delicious. The noodles were lovely and full of flavour as was the beef and BBQ Chicken. Don't be put off by the negative reviews, they're probably just hangry.

Was sent the wrong order originally meaning another family on holiday has missed out, when my order did eventually come for my booked time slot it was close to an hour late, stone cold and missing toppings, emailed customer services a week ago but no one seems interested.

Food delivered on time and delicious

Ordered for delivery to caravan. 2 hours still no delivery. Went down to see where the food was, ticket was there but wasn’t put through. Offered to give me the food there and then but no sorry etc. we ordered a 2nd time and the rice was so undercooked! Really wouldn’t recommend this place!

SOOOO GOOOOD OMFG IT WAS BRILLIANT THE ONLY BAD PART WAS THE QUEUE BUT NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT.

This place was amazing, first night there was a girl who serve up she was moody, the second day a man serve us really nice, the food was hot and lively

Limited choices compared to a normal chopstix! Cheaper buying the family meal deal for £24.99 which is only available when collecting!

Placed a family order at 9:00 for 9:45 it’s now 10:18 and the order hasn’t shown up but the money out of my bank has been taken. So we are now sat here on our last night nothing for tea in the caravan as we knew we were ordering tonight and food hasn’t shown up! Absolutely awful

Placed online delivery order at 7.45pm for delivery at 8.30pm. By 9.30pm nothing arrived and we went to the Chopstix van directly for an update. There was a very large queue of unhappy being in the same position as myself. When asked about my order there was no apology and just said the order had not been worked on. it was clear they were too busy serving people who had went directly to the Van itself and ignored all the online orders as the delivery driver was there and he had not done a delivery in over an hour and a half. I was told they would get the order now but didn't get everything I had order as most of the choices were not available as they had run out and did no plan on cooking anymore. The service and the attitude of the staff was shocking, they were huffing, no eye contact and handed the food with no apology or any words. The food was very dry and tasteless. Will not be back.

Ordered at 6.33pm for a 7.15pm delivery. We did not hear anything for the order apart from a confirmation email at 6.37pm. We waited until 8pm which was when I decided to go up to see what had happened. When asked about my order there was no apology and one of the girls even smirked as if “oops, forgot about that one”. The other girl told me she’ll do the order now. Again, no apology and by that time my exact order was not available and I had to choose something else. Handed me the order, no apology, no thank yous and that was my face to face and online order experience. The food was mediocre however I would have been a little settled if the staff was polite and apologetic. There was no empathy with a lack of actual customer service and passing me the food with no expression on their faces or eye contact have made this first experience my one and only experience with this branch. What a big disappoint. The one star review is to give an actual recorded rating, otherwise I would not have given any stars at all.

Encouraging my 11year old Grandson and his pal to go to chopstix by themselves I gave them £30 checked on them a couple times while they where in the queue all was well. They purchased 2 tubs of fried rice and a large portion of mini spring rolls they returned with no change. Spoke to guy the following day who I have to say was really nice and sympathetic but there was nothing that could be done as we had no receipt and didn't know the exact time of purchase. Very sad that some adults think it's OK to rip of wee kids.

Family of four spent around £55 for delivery to caravan. Delivery time was 5.45pm and we were still waiting at 7pm, went upto shop to be told they were to busy and they would cook it for us there and then, when we got it they forgot to give us one box so went back in and they gave us the remaining one. Not a very pleasent experience. • food was alright, nothing special • staff were friendly and polite • delivery was non-existant • dispite being a "noodle bar", they had no noodles

Bring back the other Chinese that all will say, please. This one is absolutely disgusting, hardly any choices, costs a fortune, and the food is tasteless. That's one of the highlights of Craig Tara onset Chinese but so disappointed with this new one

Absolutely terrible I ordered it at 18:35 today for table 809 in the bonga wonga and i still have not received it and I spent money on this that I could even have spent on a different thing for my dinner but I chose this I wish I hadn't i want my bloody money back and I have been waiting for nearly and hour for this and it still hasn't arrived I will go down in person to complain if it's not here by 19:35

Place is absolutely amazing , food is excellent always hot, great customer service nothing is a trouble to them especially declan .

Good street food at a food price

Food was horrible, fried rice tasted like hoose rice🤣, Manager or Superviser spoke to his staff shockingly, ordered my meal and they served 2 people that came after me before acknowledging mine was sitting waiting for me.

I went here about a month ago. The food was undercooked and I passed out from food poisoning in my hotel room that night, woke up 3 weeks later in a cold sweat in the Galloway hills wearing nothing but edible boxers. I looked around and saw a pack of pine marten's, all frothing at the mouth. Ended up getting rabies and am currently hospitalised all thanks to this place.

Really poor, it smells lovely and invites you in to buy, we were excited to try this and spent £28 for a family of 4 and when we got back to eat it it was cold, rice was either undercooked or overcooked as was cold and hard, chicken balls were not fresh they were cold and tough and couldn’t be eaten so all the meals were poor, the only think we could eat were the noodles, even the prawn crackers were yellow and dry. Very poor and disappointing.

Wouldn’t even rate it 1star. Spent £49 on food for a family of 5 to find a DEAD WASP in the salt and pepper potatoes. Disgusted

Placed an order for delivery and chose my slot which wasnt delivered till half an hour AFTER the chosen time. Food was cold, greasy and rice was really undercooked.

Done click and collect service the shortest time was 45min so gets there at my time for collection. No pick up point for those orders so waited in the cue for another 15min just to get there and for it not to be ready and needed to be made up so waited another 10min while they done that so that’s a completely pointless service. The food itself was probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had completely bland and tasteless. The prices to portion size isn’t great either though I had expected that in somewhere like Craig Tara. So the biggest disappointment is the food itself. I’d honestly say go for a micro Chinese meal before eating from chopsticks

The only thing I would have liked, would be more peppers and onions in the salt and chilli chicken. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Food was lovely and the large portion was a lot more than expected. We couldn’t finished it. Service was great.

Just takeaway so can't rate atmosphere. Never had chopstix before and just had it two nights running. Staff great really friendly even though they were very busy. Food was lovely had small noodles with one topping and it was more filling than it looks. One suggestion would be the option of a sachet of soy sauce which would have been perfect.

Worst food ever staff that don't know what they are doing over an hour to wait spent £50 for it to go in the bin very disappointing

Just ordered food to come at 7.30 … got delivered at 7.15 completely wrong order(one single box of nothing that we ordered) .. no way to get in touch and our several boxes of food must have gone elsewhere to another caravan … absolutely no way to get in touch to get correct food… want refund asap … didn’t eat wrong single box incase they came back to collect it….

Found bones in chicken breast. How is that even possible?! Plus i cracked a tooth on it. Avoid

Girl serving was rude and didnt know how to do her job.. ran by young inexperienced ignorant people will never be back.. hasnt got a patch on the old van. I stood in a cue for 25 muinits for them to also tell me they didnt have any fried rice.. hopeless is how i describe the staff

Very tasty and excellent value for money despite being on park.
