Worst take away in Ayr I have to say ordered a large pakora and it was soggy and chewy like they had boiled the chiken or microwaved it not be returning wouldn’t even give it one star

Drove by this place loafs so thought I would give it a go. Never again. Ordered a munchies box. Chicken pakora was soggy as if it was done in the microwave, ordered salad it never came, onion rings were also missing. Some of the chips were still raw. Never again.

Late night kebab was stunning. Little light on the sauce but the freshly cut veg was crispy and clean.

I agree. Best family takeaway! We got nachos, pizza, burger meal, carrot cake and two of the pancakes and every thing was the best we've ever had. We also phoned to remove a few ingredients from the order and wasn't an issue and fully understood what I wanted changed. Will be using this as my go to takeaway from now on.

I ordered a King Size Chicken and Donnor Hoogie Wrap, I was given a large box of chips, cheese, and shredded style chicken. No naan bread or wrap and no Donnor. The chicken was grisle, and unfortunately not nice. We had a few fork fills and had to leave the rest. Kebab sauce tasted not bad, however looked to be watered down. Very disappointed, and gutted as still hungry.

First time ordering a takeaway from best family, really enjoyed our meal. Had the pizza, pasta deal. Thought it was great value and was really tasty. Thank you.

Shop seemed very clean upon walking in, and the staff whom I spoke to seemed very friendly. 😊 Got a doner hoggie wrap, a half double pepperoni half cheese pizza, and a stuffed crust doner and Jalapenos pizza 🍕. The double pepperoni side of the half and half pizza couldn't really be described as "double" anything. As you can see in the picture there were only 6 pieces on. The pizza itself was alright though. The stuffed crust doner and jalapenos was so much better! Really loaded full of doner meat, and the stuffed crust tasted amazing too 👌. The wrap was really really nice, but just seemed a bit small compared to other ones I've had. Can't knock the flavour of it though. Tasty. I ordered a seperate pot of garlic sauce, but it turns out they come as standard with the pizzas which is a good perk. Ended up with 3 🤣 Wish they had chips, cheese, and doner on the menu but couldn't seem to find it.

Went here on the way to the Coldplay concert, woman was extremely friendly and allowed a friend to try the chicken doner as he said it looked nice. Food was lovely and fresh, would definitely recommend.

Ordered from this place last night through Ayr Eats. Spent around £25 and the food never arrived. Had no luck calling the restaurant or by contacting Ayr Eats. Today Ayr Eats have informed me that the restaurant are refusing to refund me with no explanation as to why. Genuinely shocking behaviour. Avoid at all costs.

Was standing in McDonald’s when a customer approached a manager to complain about his order she was soo rude and was mocking the way the boy spoke . He got upset I went outside to check the boy was ok as he seemed a bit high rate and upset .. he was Autistic and had learning disabilities his mum was trying to calm him . I find this absolutely disgusting they also got my order wrong but after what she did to the boy I thought I would just complain to McDonald’s headquarters and so are the boys family ! To lock someone with learning difficulties is beyond me . I will never step foot inside a Ayr mcdonalds again… this was disgusting incident happened on the 20th of may 2025 so it’s very recent … so if you have kids or anyone with learning difficulties the staff think it’s ok to mock them !

We ordered 2 fish and chips. We arrived and it was quite busy so understood we had to wait for both to be freshly made. We waited over 10mins for our food due to the lack of staff (who were trained to cook etc) 1 female staff member had to be in 2 places at once which was a shame. It got busier and busier as we waited leaving little room to move or even get to the checkout once they called our number for order. The food was a bit greasy and soggy in areas but a chippy is a chippy. It's not a bad place tbh. I think we just picked a hard time to go resulting in chaos.

The Munchy Box arrives in a pizza box so big, I mistook it for a flat-pack IKEA table. It’s a glorious mess of Scottish takeaway staples with an Indian twist: a sea of chicken tikka masala that could drown a Viking, lamb korma spicy enough to make you see bagpipes, a pile of chips that could star in a landslide documentary, and naan breads large enough to use as a windsurf. There’s also pakoras the size of golf balls, onion bhajis that could roll down Ayr High Street, and a token salad I’m convinced was just grass from Burns Statue Square. Wikipedia says munchy boxes are for sharing, but I took it as a personal challenge—and I’m still in recovery.
