Chopsticks in Leeds

Worse Chinese meal ever. Reheated dry starters. No meat and not recieved 4 portions of spare ribs. Prawns in rice tasted of chlorine. Crispy beef not crispy and not beef. Not fresh. Stale prawn crackers. £75 and 90% ended up in the bin! Worried I will have gastroenteritis tomorrow): AVOID

Found a fly in my meal! What kind of food place is allowing flies in the kitchen?? Never ordering from here again. I don’t know how they still have a licence.

Driver came with incorrect change so I had to let them off 50p which if I ordered food I couldn’t say “I’m 50p short is that ok” so bad business from the offset. The food was terrible. The ribs didn’t taste like normal ribs at all and didn’t look normal either. Wondering if it was even some other animals ribs due to taste and the odd mini bones it was made up of and not the normal long bone you would get at normal Chinese. Tried this new place as I was peckish and my normal pearl dragon (Stanningley road) don’t deliver and I didn’t want to get out of bed to drive at what time. Wish I did now though. Would of uploaded pics but after I threw it in the bin and went back to bed I decided no I have to leave a review about this how disappointed I was with it. Will 100% never eat from here again

Some of the order was missing and spent ages arguing about it on the phone. The quality of the food was sh1te. Never again.

Worst restaurant in Leeds just avoid went a week ago. Food was very poor. Didn’t get any pictures it was terrible. The food was cheap but it’s still bad value for money. I wouldn’t give this food to my dog. HORRIBLe!!!!

Rice was tasteless and lukewarm. Came up 30 mins later warmer than it went down. Have been throwing up all night, should’ve stopped eating after the first bite Spring rolls were good though

Hi crew, We are coming coming to you live from Chopsticks tonight, the worst rated chinese in the whole of Leeds (1,181/1,181.) With this in mind, we had indescribably low expectations for this place, we made sure to have no plans for the following day as we expected to be occupied by the toilet for the full day. HOWEVER, we were flabbergasted by this cuisine as it was a more pleasant feeling than being in the hospital as my wife birthed my first born!! We ordered our classic of salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper chips (consistent we know.) Our first impression was not very promising as we stood in what we thought was the kitchen but it was only the counter as they had bags of vegetables scattered all around us. We were stood very patiently for what felt like lifetime, I could’ve become a doctor, watched my grandchildren grow old, die and reincarnate, fought in world war 10 and walked slowly around the world 6 times by the time bossman decided even acknowledged us. He seemed a proper sound man in the end, just wanted to fistpump him. Despite this, I ordered then turned around to walk out the shop, within this time bossman quietly muttered ‘ready pal’ I turned round in absolute shock (more shock than when I first saw a pig fly!) We then entered our car and started to unwrap the food, the chips were bewildering, crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside! The chicken was eggcelent and made kfc look like kentucky fried crap!! We travelled 25 mins to get to this chinese for a laugh and it turned out to be more serious than a heart attack. Furthermore, I believe that anyone who has left a bad review on this place (and there is a lot) should take a long hard look in the mirror, re-evaluate their life choices and potentially be sent down for life as they must be crazy. If you’ve got this far, thanks for listening and please go try this place, Over and out you little rascals!

I wish we had read the other reviews before visiting as they are entirely accurate. Incorrectly charged for what is comfortably the worst takeaway I have ever had. If cold, tasteless and overpriced food is up your street then knock yourself out.

Food was hardly warm when it arrived and we didn’t get what we asked for. We ordered crispy beef noddles and instead received a box of plain noodles, with a separate box containing some mushroom water and small slices of beef. The chips were soggy and disgusting, the spring rolls were cold and the food didn’t taste of anything Don’t order from here it is awful

Waiting 90 min for order. Driver wanted me to come to his car as he not going to move and knock to my door. Amazing delivery,walk somewhere in the middle of the night because they don't want to leave a car.

Really good salt and pepper chips and chicken! Never had bad service, food has always arrived on time. Would recommend !

I must admit I hadn't read reviews before I ordered, I should have and saved my money. How does somewhere like this get away with serving such poor quality food. Frankly its dangerous. I worry about the hygiene of somewhere like this behind the counter.

Absolutely disgusted at the customer service of this restaurant, ordered quite a bit of food from here for me and my friends, spent a lot of money! The food took an hour to arrive and the drinks were forgotten, when we asked for the drinks the driver simply walked off and refused to reply. After calling the restaurant to solve the mystery of the missing drinks I was then shouted at because somehow this was my fault, bit confused about that. Of course I should not of expected as much as my order to be correct from reading the previous reviews.

Avoid this restaurant!! Ordered a takeaway with my friends and the drinks never came. We rang the restaurant and they told us it was the drivers fault and if we wanted them then we’d have to come and collect them as they won’t deliver just drinks even though we’d paid for them? They then continued to hang up several times Food came and spring rolls tasted of cardboard, overall the food was very average! Wouldn’t recommend

Avoid at all costs!! Customer service was appalling. Me and 2 friends ordered food with a drink each. Drinks never arrived so we rang up and the rude man on the phone said it was our fault and we would have to go and collect them ourselves. He then proceeded to hang up on us. Sweet and sour chicken was average. Vegetable spring rolls were soggy and had a very odd taste. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

The food was OK, but the attitude of the delivery driver left a lot to be desired. Arrogant, insulting and seriously lacks any shred of customer service. In between his tirade about me being deaf (which I am not0 and having to wait for me...

I ordered from here at the end of March. I was surprised at how cheap it was, but the food was very poor. Foolishly gave them another chance in May, and the food was even worse. Definitely wouldn't order from here again.

The food was disgusting and part of my order was wrong. I ordered duck and instead of sending cucumber and spring onion, I received white onion and green pepper, I’ve attached an image of this. The curry sauce was also dreadful, everything about the food...

I ordered here today for the first time because my regular takeaway is close. Jesus, two out of the three dishes i ordered are not edible. The food is not being prepared by chinese ppl, no chance. SCAM

Ordered 2 portions of rice and two portions of crispy chilli beef. Only 1 portion of beef was delivered with 2 portions of rice. Not quite sure how they managed that but then had to wait another 45 minutes for the rest of the food...

ordered the ribs from here and they tasted like dog meat but it reminded me bruno my puppy so was definitely worth the treat! The whole menu is delicious I've never had a Chinese like this apart from ling my ex haha.

Made the stupid mistake of not checking the reviews before ordering. Food came COLD and with a HAIR in!! When I phoned to complain, the guy said I was lying because he made the food himself and that there’s no chance that it’s cold... he...

I hate giving bad reviews because I think Tripadvisor should be used to give help people make choices and support local businesses without trying to get back at anyone or give one star reviews if someone makes an honest mistake or is a bit late....

Terrible. Didnt even deliver the food for 2 hours. Then the manager didnt even care or want to help with a refund. Delivery driver kept saying he was 2 mins away and so did the manager. Very rude.

Ordered here due to what I thought was a top rating on just eat, as fancied somewhere new. Order stated it would arrive at 21:30 but didn’t. After attempting to call the restaurant which, just rang out, food finally arrived at 22:10. Some of the main items were missing like the chicken balls, the salt & pepper ribs were just lumps of animal fat and skinned bones with raw peppers and onions. The rice, noodles, sauces, chips were all cold and poor quality. I immediately messaged the driver who said wasn’t his problem call the restaurant. Again the restaurant didn’t answer. Spoke to just eat who handled them and informed me the restaurant would require all the food back before they could refund! So I repackaged everything, and waited and waited to no collection of food. Called just eat AGAIN who then contacted the restaurant who claimed they were 5 mins away. 20 minutes later they arrived and took the food, no apology! Its now 23:20 and just eat have just got back to me to confirm a refund however chopsticks have come back and excused me of eating the food. I’ve been forced to except a 50% refund although just eat have covered the rest as they know I’m in the right - seems to be a huge floor in the system. Absolutely furious over the lack of care and respect, I never complain or make a fuss but this is outrageous. Safe to say we won’t use chopsticks ever again and they will be reported to food safety based on the concerning preparation and temperature control of their food. We are too a local business and you would think they would appreciate the local support and community spirit. Their just eat rating is in no way matched to their trip advisor rating, which is shocking and claims of raw food and similar stories of all the above I have already mentioned.They should be embarrassed by the abysmal food they are serving to their community.

These are the BEST salt n pepper chicken wings I’ve ever had, always quality, always crispy, absolutely no faults!!! Order all the time and will do for foreseeable future. These wings are THE best.

Esperaron más de 1 hora y media y tuvieron que llamar dos veces para preguntar dónde estaba la orden. Después de que finalmente llegó, hacía frío y sabía horrible. Incluso las papas parecían y sabían como si hubieran sido cocinadas hace horas. Absoluta pérdida de dinero! ¡Nunca más!

Me and my partner ordered today and got pink chicken balls everything else was amazing but I am very disappointed in chicken balls.

Pedimos una comida en grupo de cinco, nos dijeron que 45 minutos de tiempo de espera, después de una hora llegó la comida. Desempacamos para encontrar que faltaba la mitad. Llamamos y nos dijeron que el conductor había perdido otra caja, regresó unos 5 minutos más tarde y nos dio la otra caja. Desempacamos esto y descubrimos que todavía nos faltaban el pato y las tres bolsas de galletas de gambas que habíamos pedido y que nuestro dinero ya había sido retirado. Volvimos a llamar y nos dijeron 'miren con más cuidado porque el chef dijo que el pato estaba definitivamente allí'. Nos obligaron pero no pato solo la salsa de ciruela. Después de volver a sonar para confirmar que definitivamente no había pato, nos dijeron que enviarían otro. 30 minutos más tarde, sin pato, volvimos a llamar y nos dijeron que el automóvil se estaba yendo. ¡El pato nunca llegó! Esto fue extremadamente decepcionante ya que la comida entregada fue una pena, el sabor agrio de ningún pato arruinó la comida.

Does this chip and curry sauce dish look like something you would want to eat? Really? Me neither. This is what I received tonight after waiting for 2 hours with no updates. Very disappointed.

Portions are tiny compared to usual. Paid £1 for about 4 prawn crackers ... When they're usually free. Rest of food okay but would not use again!

its the weekend, saturday night treats included a takeaway including chips, chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce. my experience was never the less the poorest of a fair collection.chicken balls has been on my order since age 7 and i can fairly say these balls were the worst I've ever experienced. 90 percent batter, 10 dry hard 'chicken'. considered i had been waiting all day for some chicken goodness i couldn't even make it half way through the packet. the chips were 2/10.. no salt or flavour. and sauce was beyond help and should be sold as red water.

Pedimos comida a comer, tiempo de entrega estimado 30 minutos, nos llamó después, y hora y me dijeron que estaba en su camino, otra hora y media más tarde me llamó otra vez me dijeron que estaba preparando y prometió ser gratis la próxima vez. Le dije que requiere este por escrito con la entrega que todavía no habíamos dejado la tienda, el gerente acordado. Cuando finalmente llegamos gélido frío con una abrupta parte entrega conductor me pareció que este esfuerzo se hizo y mi tarjeta cobraron. asqueroso servicio por lo que se les paga una visita yo. Orden a su propio riesgo.

Pedimos desde aquí varias veces antes y no tuvimos problemas. Esta noche me ordenados como de costumbre, recibimos una llamada de teléfono a decir que había llegado. Mi novio salía fuera nuestros pisos para recogerla y que me dieron la orden equivocada. Fue que alguien en nuestros apartamentos. Nos dirigimos a verbalmente abuso mi novio diciendo que había sido esperando las edades y llamar cuando nos había recibido llamadas! Nunca he conocido a alguien tan grosero e ignorante en mi vida! Evitar a toda costa a menos que te gusta que hablamos como un pedazo de tierra.

Ordered at 7pm. Arrived at 8.40pm, cold, missing an item. Now 9pm and the missing item still isnt here. Wouldn't recommend at all.

When the food arrived it was cold, and was also missing the rice to one of my dishes, when I rang to tell them they had missed it off he order the man on the phone Adil was extremely rude and basically lied saying that they have never forgotten food off an order etc. said he could deliver the rice in 10mins or refund 50p of the order. The rice eventually came 1 hour later!, by this time my food was stone cold. The next day me and my boyfriend were both sick. Disgusting food DO NOT EAT FROM HERE.

The food was here before time expected. Everything was nice and warm and tasted brilliant would definitely recommend and will be making my way through the rest of the menu.
