Food was late, luke warm, over cooked and dry. Wouldn't recommend.

Really fresh taste. Each dish had distinct flavour. Best chicken balls I’ve ever had, they are crispy and the chicken moist but not fatty. Everything tasted clean and satisfying.

Crispy beef had no beef 🤔😫 wasnt good at all. Curry was okay. No peppers etc in salt & pepper.

First time ordering tonight. Good flavour and great portions. Will be back!

We’ve been a fan of Dragon City for quite some time. Lovely staff, easy delivery and delicious food. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Got Swwet And Sour Balls Menu Didnt Say They Were Mixed Pork Chicken And Prawn Refuse Replace Them As Its There Fault They Cant Update Menu

Been ordering from here for a while and quite often it's delivered late if ordering over the weekend which is to be expected I suppose during those busier days. This last weekend we ordered and the food arrived 40 minutes later than it suggested on their website. We realised immediately that not all food was there so ran outside to tell the driver who rang the owner for us and said he would be back with the missing food which we said was a portion of noodles and the chicken skewers from the starter. Around 40 minutes later again the delivery arrived and we were given our main dish but without the noodles and missing starter items. The delivery driver suggested calling ourselves so we did. The person answering the phone just kept saying they didn't know what to do as the owner wouldn't deliver the missing items to us and then suggested we pick it up ourselves. I said that was fine but seemed a bit unfair considering they charge £5 delivery which is expensive as it is. They agreed to give us the £5 back and I was trying to check they were aware it was just noodles and part of the starter but the owner kept repeating our main dish saying they would cook another. I kept saying we didn't need that just the missing items. In my mind we were trying to save them making extra but they just kept getting more annoyed and rude on the phone, and then they hung up. We headed over to collect what was missing and they had again made us the main dish, we at least had the noodles but had no replacement for our starter. We were so hungry at that point and realising after 2 hours of trying to get our order we may as well cut our losses and head home. Really disappointed with the rude attitude, even if it is busy you need to have better customer service. Giving it 2 stars purely because their food is generally good (when you get what you order) and the delivery driver was very helpful and polite.

The worst Chinese I have ever had. The food arrived 50 minutes late. The food was tasteless and missing ingredients from 3 of the dishes. We ordered special fried rice and special chow mein and neither included king prawns. Order char sui pork and it was grey meat. The food was lukewarm. Very disappointed after spending a total of £38.90

Ordered last week, delivery was an hour and a half. They forgot the egg fried rice side that went with my dish, when I called they said they wouldn't deliver it as they were too busy. After a phone argument they agreed to deliver the rice in 20 mins, the driver turned up after 45 minutes which then meant my whole meal was cold. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again this week, paid £3.80 for 2x pancake rolls as per the menu, they only sent 1. When I called, the man on phone said you only get 1 now then hung up the phone. This is not a cheap takeaway, but even more annoying when you don't receive the dishes or full items you have paid for. We have been a customer of this place for many years, however the recent disgusting customer service means we will no longer be returning.

Visited for the first time last night. Chips are the least greasy I think I have ever seen and the Thai green curry is beautiful! I will be back.

Zero stars would be given to management if available. Part of order missing and no compensatory offerings when returning to collect them. Special curry dishes contain a total of two prawns and a whole lot of mushroom. The special chow mein is disgusting, all grease, no veggies and again two prawns. Would not visit this hovel again

Friendly & efficient. Food was absolutely average & I'm being generous. However this was reflected in the very reasonable price. Perfect for some people but my personal preference is to pay more for better quality. You get what you pay for, right?

The salt and pepper chicken was absolutely delicious but the chicken fried rice and pancake rolls were rubbish. The chicken rice was just white boiled rice with a bit of chicken in it.

It’s difficult to find Chinese takeout with a variety of meat free options. The vegetarian satay “duck” made out of mushrooms and the tofu szechuan were great. The food arrived on time and the delivery person was very friendly.

Dragon City is the best Chinese I the Wharfedale area for sure. As I eat mainly vegan, there really isn't any other that comes close for choice. I've always collected and have never waited excessively for the food. It's tasty, not too heavy on the oil when fried and the service is always excellent. I can't fault them. Happy eating!!

Dragon city is always my first choice when I fancy a Chinese. Lovely food every time, is always ready on time and piping hot. Staff are really friendly too. Highly recommended.

We order from this takeaway a lot and always enjoy the food. We have waited over 90 mins in the past for food which has been frustrating. We gave them the benefit of the doubt tonight and ordered again. It took over 2 hours for the food to arrive which ruined our evening. We won't be ordering again which is a shame as the food is great but you really need more staff!!

The food was bland and oily. Arrived on time and it was hot, no complaints there, but unfortunaly just not nice. Won't be ordering again.

As I say in the title I think Dragon City Chinese take away is the best in Otley. But for the second time I was charged for using my credit card (50p), which by the way is illegal ( I have reported it). The first time I got my money back, but this time because of covid regs and a new menu, and the fact that I was refused a copy receipt I did not notice until I got back home.

Despite there being plenty of competition in the area, Dragon City is our go-to for Chinese food. Great portions, good prices, pretty speedy, and always hot and tasty. My wife loves the sweet chilli noodle box and I love the angry red chillies in my black bean sauce! Singapore curry is excellent too

Ordered the honey chilli crispy chicken along with sides and it was lovely. The food was piping hot when it arrived and the delivery was fast. Customer service from the gentleman who took my order was brill - will definitely be ordering again!

We had pick up our dinner for four. To be fully honest we loved the noodles dishes the kids choosed, but we hated the half crispy duck set it up to make your own wrap, dry and overcooked. Surprisingly, fried rice was horrible. One item ordered was replaced with something unwanted. In the end, some good, some bad. Make yourself a favour and order noodles.

Ordered over the phone, the woman didn't speak very good English and was very quick to try an get me off the phone without telling me delivery time or price, I had to interrupt her goodbyes to ask. The salt an pepper chicken wings were drastically overcooked an laced in chilli making them virtually inedible for me (usually they're not too spicy). The chicken in Oyster sauce was really not nice, it was thick and sweet with barely any chicken in the dish. The entire thing made me feel ill an was wasted, that was £14 ill never get back. Really dissapointed as normally its really nice. The bottom of the bin seemed to enjoy it.

It's a good Chinese, quick and efficient delivery. Food is always hot and cooked well. Sometimes can be a bit too oily but that seems to be less of a problem. A great selection of food. Try the salt and pepper duck, it's really quite special 👌

Ordered takeaway to be delivered. It was Saturday but even still over an hour and two phone calls still not very good service. Would’ve cancelled if we hadn’t ordered and paid online. Order eventually arrived at least an 80 minutes after being placed. Items missing....

Beef in Black bean sauce & King Prawn with Water Chestnuts, both with Rice. Prawn crackers! Very tasty! Hong Kong Cuisine.. but they had never heard of Yuk Sung which is always my staple starter!

My favourite chinese take away in Otley. Ask chef for Chinese mushrooms and extra spicy if you like it. Plenty of choice, tofu dishes available. My best is chicken Kung-Po and szeczuan style dishes. Bamboo and water chestnut dish also recommended. Delivery service. Cash only.

The best Chinese food in the local area. It's quite a low key place, but they have things on the menu you'll find nowhere else because the chef created them. I recommend the crispy chicken laatchi!
