We recently had an amazing experience at Chop and Wok! The food was absolutely delicious, and we couldn't get enough of it. I tried their vegetable soup and wild mushrooms, and let me tell you, they were incredibly tasty. Visited here a while ago as I was craving Ramen Noodles. It wasn't half bad, my first time trying it too. I visited other branches in the past and always loved the duck noodles. There have been many copycat companies popping up since. Nothing can equal the original.

Absolutely awful! Do not order!! Missing items, SUPER expensive, terrible service when I phoned back explaining they have missed my items. So bland & hardly any chicken. We paid £30 for 2 meals & didnt even get the whole order correct. I am disgusted at this place & will NEVER order again

THIS PLACE HAS GONE DOWNHILL! order a set meal for 1 which means to include a build your own box a choice of one side and prawn cracker with sweet and sour sauce. It come with no prawn crackers or sweet and sour sauce and I don’t enjoy it without prawn crackers. The meal itself was disgusting, I had rice with beef and Malaysian. I ordered no beans outs so they just filled it with carrots instead. It was just clumpy, tried to eat it but not enjoyable at all with or without prawn crackers. I called and asked them to deliver the prawn cracker and he at first asked if they actually did put them in then they he said that they’re not included in that deal which it’s clearly states on just eat that they are and I even told him this and said to look at him his self and he just refused. They need to go and have a look at their just eat page cause I’ve paid for something I didn’t get. I use to order from here quite regular. Will never be ordering from here again.

I ordered beef & blackbean chow mein. What I got was fermented carrot stew with stodgy noodles. Absolutely disgusting, doesn't even remotely resemble Chinese food. Partners order of chips and chicken was just as dire, stale chips and stale prawn crackers, waste of money. Yuuuk.

Food wise you cannot really fault them when it comes to noodles. Service wise, very unwelcoming, lady was more interested in reading her social media than serving me. Even the fish in the fish tank look like they are suffering at the ignorance. A store that likes to choose times of opening - what good is a shop that is never open? They have improved now so 5 stars

I ordered delivery and they didn't packed food properly all the food was in the bottom of the bag , call them and they said it's not their fault is driver problem, all the food go in the bin, never order them again

Some days they do good job, but many days their food is pathetic, changed taste, quantity less.. too unpredictable.

Found this little gem on the way back from work, staff are very welcoming, the beef Malaysian was a treat, definitely without a doubt my new go to spot

Ordered from this resturant - second time now and it will certainly be the last. Ordered a build your own wok - paneer with duck and Plum sauce, veg spring rolls and dip and dragon box. The paneer was gross and really soggy, wish I'd never ordered it. The portion was a decent size, still quite overpriced especially as I didn't enjoy it. The dragon box had no taste considering it was meant to be spicy and tasted like it had been done in the microwave. The only good thing was the spring rolls. Will not be returning. Terrible choice of takeaway. And also what's up with only sending one pair of chop sticks and one fortune cookie?! Two meals and we spent over £20 quid.

First and last time I am ordering from this place ! I paid almost £20 for 5 mini veg dry dumplings and a portion of vermicelli with chicken. This food was a waste of money! Even my dog didnt want to eat it. Tasteless, blind, overpriced, came without any sauce for dumplings, very dissapointed! Never again.

I used to manage this branch few years back and I’m little sad to see it’s gone backwards. The food was decent. The place was in good condition. However, the staff are amazing. Very welcoming. And they catered for everything we needed. Made our dishes extra spicy.

Do yourself a favour and do not go here until reviews start to show they are getting better. Ordered on Deliveroo for a family meal and it was a disaster, so much that we had to re-order something else. The chow mein which is what most of us got was crazily salty, burned and tasted acidic so much that it was impossible to eat. We had to throw it all away. The small sides like nuggets and fries were bland and the only thing that was good was some sort of ribs/chicken wings that ended up being eaten. Everything else was straight chucked in the bin. We also ordered a curry to try along with some rice and it was like soup. Just a complete disaster for a food place and I am surprised it's still open.

Ordered 4 meals only 1 was half decent chicken curry just ok very little chicken southern fryed with chips bland dry a little salad would have made it look better none of our chips were cooked the whole thing was a complete waist of money please avoid this place.

very bad experience they would not let me speak to a manager, they caused us to have to withdraw money from the cash point and after waiting for order when we called back they told us we can’t have the order because we need to pay by card when we already withdrew from cash machine bare in mind we have ordered several times before and paid cash. 5 kids waiting for there food phone put down on us twice very rude I won’t be ordering from here again very very disappointed after ordering with them so many times I can see below many people have problems with their order at this place I never knew review was so bad until they caused me to have to make a review how annoyed I am

We ordered a build your own wok, that comes with prawn crackers and a drink on deliveroo and neither the drink nor the prawn crackers were delivered. On calling the restaurant, we were told that they were sending the missing items to us (and might I add there was no apology for missing part of our order). As expected, we did not receive those items. Service has really gone downhill here.

The past 2 orders I have had from here have both been Build Your Own Wok for my daughter and I.. Should come with Prawn Crackers and a Drink.. on both occasions the aforementioned have been missing from both meals. Uber Eats refunded me, however the inconvenience is far greater than receiving the refund. Will not be ordering again.

Everything I ordered was bland, the katsu curry hardly had any taste and it was runny. I bought upon noodles which I had to bin after a single bite. The katsu fries were were just soggy fries. Stay away from the place if your tongue still works. My food was over £30 and probably the worst thing I've ever ordered online.

ordered through deliveroo yesterday evening. No one has been able to eat any of the dish! It was so tasteless. Was very disappointed with the quality of cooking everything was blend and no taste and chicken and the tiger prawns. Chinese food is reputed to have on top of the meat pakchoy carrots green onion mushroom siaw and a special tangy sweet taste but this was not! You pay £9/10 for 1 dish but it was not enough we have to pay more to get the complete dish. No thanks! leave it! I re- ordered from somewhere else I would have a post a compare picture last night but then I changed my mind & think chop & Wok is just doing his own business!!!

Ordered there veggie options and they delivered everything with chicken in. Ordered on Just eat and they mysteriously cancelled our order so we couldn't leave a review. Very disappointed, they had been good in the past.

Severely disappointed with the food, very tasteless, ordered vermicelli noodles with masala chilli and paprika, tasted bland and powdery, also had veg noodles and again very bland the veg had no flavour or crunch whatsoever, not very fresh tasting at all. Seemed like both meals cooked in water and just added the chilli to the one. Definitely not worth the £9 per meal.

Not what I expected, ordered a chicken chow mein which was nothing like what I have had before, couldn't taste any vegetables and they covered it with coriander!!! The chicken chow mein I'm used to does not have a very saucy consistency neither does it have dried red chilli skin, overall not pleasant. Also ordered shredded duck noodles with honey and lime sauce, was slightly better but not what I would expect for Chinese cuisine. Charged £1.10 for canned drinks what a rip off! This place does not reflect Chinese cuisine, I would suggest I-Krave, it tastes way better and more value for money, perhaps they need to take a trip there themselves?!

Ordered a takeout from here. Noodles were fine but ramen soup not worth the money and not filling. Staff not serious about mask wearing or customer service. Will visit a different franchise next time.

WOW. Been a while since I've eaten at this branch but what a change, food went totally down hill for a while, tasteless, bland, dry just overall rubbish. I thought I'd give it a try again and I'm glad I did, the whole experience of tasting what it originally used to be is back again, thank God. I think the new management has done a great job of bringing it back what used to be a really good chinnese takeaway. Great job. £60 well spent. Definitely going back again.

Iv used this branch on many occasions and service was always outstanding, how ever today after picking up my order I heard the chef getting my order wrong but thought it was resolved and the correct order pit in my bag Iv got home to find 1 of the kids portins looks half eaten and the malay noodles 2 portions differ hugely in size, when i rang to ask why the order was looking like its been half eaten Hayyan ( the guy that served me) tried to tell me that the kids portions are ment to be half a box, well thats a lie considering its half a box of a kids meal box, Hayyan was not bothered or phased by my complaint and said thats how the portions come, wont be using this branch again, disgusted!!! Under new management according to Hayyan, hence the poor customer service

Curry sauce hu gravely with a bit of spice carrots half a spinich or something asked for king prawn got shrimp egg fried rice got boild battered prawn with sweet and sour sauce chip shp batter on them and what we think was kidney. Gave them one for d delivery give this one a miss.

Absolutely disgusting food. After 2.5 hours wait. Food cold Prawn toast is nail size (no kidding) Sweet and sour chicken you get 2 price of chicken and noodles which are whack! I dont leave bad reviews but this 1. Honestly I am reporting this business

I ordered a salmon and rice dish for home delivery and all I got was a box of burnt rice. They called me to say that they'd ran out of salmon could they replace it with something else instead and since I don't eat any other meat but fish I told them to replace the salmon with mushrooms. But when it came, all they'd done it cut up 1 whole mushroom and left it at that served with the bottom scraping of a pot of burnt rice. I called the restaurant to ask for a refund and they were very rude and dismissive and would not give me back my money. Due to the excessive amount of complaints about this place it needs to be boycotted and shut down immediately, I would not recommend this crooked place to anybody nor will I ever eat from here again!! First and last!!!

Ordered food Skinny Wok Box & Chicken Katsu the chicken Katsue 4 tiny strips cost 6.95. Phoned the store not resonable gave the driver 20pound had left the change in his car curry sauce everywhere. Not good at all stay away from this place summer meal *ucked up

Do not order from Chop and Wok (Quinton, Birmingham). I ordered food at 18:30 and at 21:30 got a call saying it was being delivered. During this time we called multiple (over 20) times but couldn't get through. When we did get through we tried to cancel our order but they hung up on us. At 21:30 we finally got a call from the delivery driver saying they were outside. We obviously sent them back because we didn't want the food (we had gone to somewhere else for food)! I just hope the driver didn't get in trouble for what is obviously a problem at the restaurant.

Have you got new staff?? Me and my partner have been using this store for past 3 years and the food was always delicious but I have to say my last 3 orders have been very disappointing! First one was so dry and noodles were stuck together that it was very difficult to eat. & my past two orders had so much oil at the bottom of the box which wasn’t very appetising and spring rolls were ice cold inside, warm only from outside! I might give it another try in a while but it won’t be soon...

I ordered chicken noodles with Malaysian sauce rice with prawn with indian spicy sauce to kids chow mein believe me or not all 4 were the same no taste no flavour and literally the colour of the four dishes were like soyasauce literally black .please go bit further to birmingham you will find better Chinese restuarant .I will only give one star for the crackers

I have applied to do my work experience in this restaurant because it is very interesting and sell the best pan Asian food ever. I have ate their food and i am very impressed and i think it is the best pan Asian food i have ever tasted. i highly recommended this restaurant because they sell top quality food and they are the best in the pan Asian food market. Avoid place seems to have gone down hill, twice I have tempted fate and both times disappointed it’s not rocket science stir frying but they just can’t manage it, order rice with orient veg what I got is broccoli 🥦 and rice with sauce nothing else no other veg at all

I might as well have thrown my £10.45 down the drain. I feel so disheartened. I really wanted tofu and noodles and this was the only place nearby I could find. I ordered the spicy tofu and oriental noodles on the set menu, with vegetarian spring rolls ( which were alright surprisingly). But the noodle dish was so watery for some reason. I went to collect and sat waiting there with my husband in the store and it was freezing cold waiting for starters. The atmosphere between the customers reactions wasn’t great I already wanted to leave and cry but I already paid and thought I’d try it. Got my food 45 minuets later and left to take it home. I ate the spring rolls but the noodles I tried and I couldn’t even eat, they tasted weird, so watery and I was already done with the experience and out off. I threw them away and ended up waiting until my parents ordered from an actually Chinese restaurant ( sadly which doesn’t have tofu but least it’s cooked properly). I’m just so sad about the experience, in the future I just need to order from restaurants that are specialists in making the food. Waste of my £10 but I guess you live and learn.

Seems to have gone seriously downhill since last time. Containers are now standard plastic ones rather than the old "box style" which doesn't help the presentation but the food was the real let down. So tasteless and bland that I will not be ordering from here again. Only saving grace, was that it arrived hot and earlier than expected....but then again, judging by the finished product, this really wasn't much of a benefit.

Some people complaint about server not speaking English obviously not all people can speak very good English. So what does that mean "not to give anyone else a chance to work because they can't speak the lingual. To me that really rubbish and prejudgemental. A humble person will never comment about someone can't speak English. As a business it is good to have multi racial people in an establisment. Also people don't really know the whole story why does customers complaints but they are the first to pass judgements. So I would not worry about that and will add Great food and very excellent customer services. All in all this Chopnwok is A1 and the Ace compare to the rest. Well done guys keep the good work. I went in on the 19/01/18 although they were busy, some new staffs and new faces, I didn't have to wait too long. I got my food quite early and all very well cooked. From my personal views from experiences I had from this branch Quinton, Hagley Road, is the best of all. Sometime I do asked for deliveries as well, and I understand they got lots of customers to feed like myself and it may take a while for the food to get to me; But when the food arrived it is always hot and satisfaction. For me that good and dedicated to customers. Well done to you all guys keep the good work and thank you.

Friendly staffs and very professional not to forget nice and tasty food

Been into the store today where do i start. As I walked in there was already a problem with the customer in front. Then the lady taking order obviously had no idea what she was doing. Seemingly unable to under stand what we were ordering then seeming unable to use the register. 15 minutes passed after another customer came in to complain about the food. It did not taste like what they had ordered and asked for a refund. The customer who had came in after us complained they had came in as when they tried to order over the phone the female member of staff was very rude to them and hung up the phone twice on them. Another 10 minutes passed we were informed the did not have the ingredients for one of our orders. The server had then said to my girlfriend why doesn't she have the very meal that had been complained about 'for piece of mind that the meal is ok'. We graciously declined and choose something else. After another 10 minutes pass I get the food asking which one is which as I orders 3 meals it took 2 people to find out even though the "cheff" had litterally just cooked it. I got back home and figured what was what well I think, could only describe to be like mushy super noodles but i could cook super noodles better and nothing like the order made. Truly awful in every aspect.

Absolutely disgusting service and food! Waited over 2 hours for my delivery with no contact from the shop to say it would be that long. When I finally received the food it was stone cold and completely unedable, the chicken satay I order was stuck on to its stick so my £20 worth of food was chucked in the bin! I then went through the process of having a refund which a complete waste of time as the manager i spoke to was extremely rude and refused to give me a refund! Such a vile man and it's disgusting the way the complaint was dealt with! Safe to say will never be eating here again!

Most of the noodles come in sauce. Not your traditional Chinese, they're unique but my favourite!
