Choobin in Kensington and Chelsea

We were the only people there from 12.30 to 1.30 when a family arrived so no atmosphere,but the food was wonderful and great value,including a Lebanese white wine,.Friendly service,perfect grills,far better than at similar Persian restaurants. This place deserves more reviews .

Amazing food and service. Every time we go the food seems to get better, to the point that i crave eating here the day after each visit.

I'm sure I've given this 'best ever" rating to another restaurant of the same cuisine in London in the past, becuase London has a wealth of amazing Persian restaurants-- but here is the new winner: In this year, as good as so many of them are -- none are better than Choobin. This place is relatively new, and amazing! The food we were served was simply sublime- in presentation, in flavor, in nuance -- perfect. Every single thing we had was the best-in-category. Try it all! From starters, to their wonderful "tachin" --Reasonable prices and service is excellent, and thoughtful. Even the take-out tupperware is the best! The manager/owner is very invested and prepares some of the food items to ensure quality. We cannot recommend it highly enough and cannot wait to be back.

An excellent restaurant, and good additiona to the local restaurant scene. We live a couple of minutes away from Choobin (which opened a couple of/few months ago, in a space next to the Troubadour), and have now been three times there for dinner as we like Persian food. The space is nicely decorated, comfortable seating, and it can take groups of at least 6 maybe 8 based on what I've seen. It's open for lunch and dinner. The menu, choice and cooking is superb - fresh ingredients, authentic persian cuisine, wide choice of lamb, chicken and other dishes, delicious home-baked bread at the outset, and the best Persian food I've had in London - we used to go to one a mile or so away, now we'd just go here. All of the people we've taken there - and other local friends - have raved about it, and it genuinely is a local find. It's clean, nicely (and newly) decorated, good sized tables, comfortable, nicely spaced tables, service is excellent, and it takes cards. It does not yet have an alcohol license (one is on the way...), but you can bring along your own wine qnd there is no corkage fee which is nice. Pretty much faultless, and given the main chain-based restaurants in Earls Court Road it's so nice to have authentic, freshly-cooked cuisine. I guess the only thing I'd flag up is that portions of rice that come with main courses are very, very big (none of us has ever managed more than a third...), but that aside can't fault it. The place is easy to find as it's next to the (well known) Troubadour, and if you're coming down Earls Court Road just turn right by the (now closed) Bolton pub, cross the road on the zebra crossing, walk past Starbucks and it's in between the Pembroke pub and the Troubadour. Totally recommend
