Been here a few times now both times as part of a large booking. Food is really good, of a high quality and very tasty, friendly service, clean tables and tableware. Some really good dishes on the menu. Keep up the good work.

The food was ok but unfortunately we were distracted by a strange damp smell that kept coming and going. The decor could do with an update, pictures of food dishes pinned to the bar area??

Have passed this place a few times when visiting friend in Ilkley and on this occasion it was decided we would eat there. What a treat it was. Really good food with quality ingredients, lovely staff and very reasonably priced. If you don’t fancy eating at the restaurant they do take out so win win. Looking forward to trying something else on their menu on my next visit 😊

Midweek, v quiet. All diners (3 tables of 2) placed next to each other..fine if busy with background noise, but I felt that every word could be overheard. Luckily other tables were friendly so we exchanged small talk. Food was tasty and well cooked. Service also very good.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant for dinner and it did not disappoint! The food is lovely, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxed. We had starters, mains and desserts and every single dish was delicious! The Tom Yum soup is a must! I could not fault it (and I’m very picky!)!

All round excellent, the quality of the food was superb as was the hospitality, ambiance and price. We eat a lot of Thai food both in Thailand and in Europe and this was up there with the best, a very pleasant surprise, will not hesitate to return.

We eat a lot of Thai food both in Thailand and the UK and this meal was amongst the best we have eaten in the UK. Every item on the mixed starter was well cooked and very tasty. For mains we had Penang curry and black spaghetti with pepper and coconut rice, dessert was crème caramel. Service, ambiance and prices were all good. Will definitely return.

Beautiful food and fantastic service! Everything tasted really fresh, and the menu had a good selection. I’m vegetarian and had the spring rolls and green curry, which were both lovely. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back.

Amazing food and great service. Lovely friendly staff, but it was quiet and shouldn’t be as the food was fabulous. Both my daughter and I shared a mixed platter for starters and had different mains, could not fault it all.

New Years Eve 2023. Not going out tonight so ordered a takeaway from Chokdee in Ilkley. Excellent staff and first class food; Cockdee is a hidden gem in Ilkley. This is the first time that we have used this restaurant, but will definitely be returning soon in 2024! Happy New Year!

Fantastic food and lovely service. Almost desolate though for a Thursday at the end of December. Hope it picks up in the new year. I'll definitely be back.

3 of us shared the platter for 2. Main each of Pad Thai Beef, Pad Thai Prawn and Chicken Green Curry with Jasmine rice. Every dish tasted excellent! Thank you.

Great food and excellent service! We had thai fishcakes and chicken satay as our starters followed by red curry and phad thai. All very good! Nice, clean restaurant. Would happily return!

Wonderful food and even better service. We will definitely be returning. There was a slight mistake with my order but instantly fixed and I was given the mistaken order in a doggy bag. Very little extra waiting time was added.

Chokdee is a restaurant that has consistently struggled with maintaining quality over the years. Despite changing names and owners seven times in the last 12 years, the interior remains outdated and nothing seems to have improved. Unfortunately, the slow service and difficulty in understanding customer requests only adds to the disappointment of the subpar food. The cuisine lacks the authenticity of true Thai food and instead resembles poor Chinese takeaway - greasy and unappetizing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Chokdee and can only assume that positive reviews are from individuals with limited exposure to quality Thai cuisine.

Excellent restaurant for an early evening meal. Tasty food, attentive service, including to a 5 year old grandson!

First time we've been since it changed hands, once being pinto, and now it's Chokdee, and it's even better. We really enjoyed the meals. I actually prefer Chokdee. The service was excellent and very friendly. We had the Thai green chicken curry and the vegetarian Singapore noodles, both of which were much much nicer and fresher than its predecessor. We got a bottle of wine, which was also pleasant. Lovely place and it will become a regular for us.

Dined here for the first time last Saturday, I believe it is under new ownership from the previous restaurant here. Really lovely meal, great service and very good value. So good we are going back again this week.

Excellent local Thai restaurant. The ambiance is lovely, the staff are so kind and friendly, but the food is the real star! Enough variety that you can try the classics (Pad Thai, green currry) but also options to try for the first time if you want to branch out (such as the chef specials, the Tom Yum fried rice, or the Pineapple fried rice which our table devoured). I highly recommend this restaurant for a quiet dine in meal, or a quick takeaway too! Will definitely keep coming back.

Great local Thai restaurant. The staff is so lovely and the ambiance is very relaxed and lovely for eating in. However, the food is the real draw, of course! Excellent, flavourful dishes with enough variety you can order both classic dishes or try something new. Highly recommend! They also offer takeaway that is quick for last minute food options!

After reading reviews we ate here on Friday evening & weren't disappointed. Very helpful lady happy to explain the menu, very good service, extremely tasty food & definitely worth a visit. Our next visit to Ilkley will certainly include a visit here. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely outstanding. We went for a last minute dinner. The food was top draw. And the services was perfect. I had two of my young children with me, and the staff (I believe them to be the owners) were great with them. I know this place has changed ownerships over the years and has been hit and miss, but if you haven’t already give it another try, and if your experience was like ours you won’t be disappointed. We will be back!

We ate in the restaurant in late December and then had a takeaway late January. Food and service great on both occasions!

Have had a couple of take aways so far from Chokdee and each time the food has been excellent. Really fresh ingredients and great tasting dishes. Good selection of vegetarian dishes at a reasonable cost.
