Sunday lunch lovely choice of meats, always very tasty food ,the lovely friendly ladies always dish up FANTASTIC meals breakfast is amazing Sunday roast is always cooked well and plenty on the plate ,scrumptious gravy with lovely yorkies and mash plus crispy roast potatoes lots of well cooked vegetables, been coming here for a few weeks and will continue the staff and owners are amazing Great team,Thanks Ladies , Frankie and melvin XXX (GREAT VALUE ASWELL)

Great food, not so good parking

Normally really good service but they dont answer their phone to place an order in advanced so sadly they have lost probably £100 worth of business simply from not answering their phone....shame but sick of the unprofessionalism ANSWER YOUR PHONE LOL 😁

I was feeling hungry after a few rounds at work and needed to eat , the lady here sorted me out with a chicken burger meal with chips and salad . I enjoyed every single minute of it - very welcoming staff , I shall be there again if I am in the area !

Definitely worth a visit, we took a chance on the place and have been back since. Early opening on a Sunday means we can fit a breakfast in inbetween car booting and the football run. A big thumbs up from us 😀

Popped in this morning for a breakfast. They dont accept card payments so I asked the lovely black haired lady if she could get me a coffee while I was at the atm further down the road. I got back and it was ready and waiting. I'd only been sat down five minutes before my full English arrived. It was tasty, fresh and ample sized. Coffee was still hot when I finished. Left feeling stuffed and very satisfied. Staff are lovely. Food is brilliant and decently priced.

Have visited a couple of times. Always hungry when I am trading a the antiques centre at Freemens Common. Finding a sausage sandwich of good quality & affordable - not easy. Choice cafe comes up trumps. Excellent food, good menu choice, courteous & efficient staff who offer a warm welcome. The cafe is very clean, comfortable - sheer excellence all round. I'll be back.

A group of us from work decided to order from choices recently.This was a fairly large bill totaling £65. We placed an order over the phone and collected it at the agreed time. The food was excellent and we had no issues at all. The problem started when we placed our second order on the Sunday - big mistake! We called around 1 hour and 30 minutes after they opened, only to be told they've sold out of bread rolls. I would like to point out that around 70% of thier menu envolves bread cobs or rolls. Very poor planning! So we decided we'd do thier job for them and go to Tesco to collect bread rolls. We're nice people :). It was agreed over the phone that we would bring in the bread rolls and they would do the rest,deducting 50p off each roll item. However, when we arrived we were informed that the chef has got a lot of orders on as its a "busy time" (7 people in the place) and cannot prepare our order. How is this possible when the order had already been made?? We even offered to wait or come back, but they had clearly made thier mind up and refused to make our food. Outrageous customer service! We will not be using choices again. Clearly, can't handle pressure and are they are certainly not customer focused. This could have been a beautiful relationship, adding I'm sure much needed revenue to a small business. Unfortunately, we won't be using them again. Bread roll anyone??

Reading the previous reviews of this place is a bit strange because the staff are absolutely lovely. I always come here after a night shift to get one of the best bacon sandwiches in Leicester.

Good value friendly staff and nice food for the previous owner 4 stars for them But now they have a new owner and i'm not allowed to have my usual swap that i have always had for years & the service is alot slower so will not be using again after today Sad times

Foods good staff were swearing and smoking just outside where we were eating and could smell it, wouldn't mind so much but had our 2 year old daughter with us, would like to go back for the food but not for the atmosphere

Choice Cafe is literally next door to me & myself & my partner have been having lunch here for many years, all I can say is what a lovely friendly cafe with great food , great service & Rachel the manager always treats us like old friends 👍🏻, definitely recommend a visit .

Staff! Need to smile! I was a new coustomer never been there before I walked in and the first person I see! Has don't a right face! Also! We're are the hair nets or caps? And why has everyone got peircings in? And big earings? That's not hygienic! And as I can see only one member in the cafe has there level 2? But there is about 5 people there working everyday? The food price is so high for what your getting!! Just feel everyone needs to smile more! And be more hygienic! I wouldn't go back there after seeing everyone's hair is out, everyone's got peircings and only one person in that place has a level 2! I've done these courses myself! And I have a level 1, level 2 in food and hygiene! And currently doing my level 3! So PLEASE! Re consecrate that the people working there should have hair nets or caps, there should be NO PERICINGS! NO RINGS! and service with a smile wouldn't go a miss! REPLY. No the food was nice, but to me it all goes for the place I walk into, and that's not a place I would like to eat again! After seeing all the bad hygiene in that place.

Will never eat in this place reason being 1) this establishment receives and accepts stolen goods from Morrisons on Saturday 11th march 2017. A week later from the cafe manager and still no response ???
