Disappointing, only two in the cafe, ordered one small breakfast, one breakfast roll, one latte and a tea. The drinks arrived 10 minutes before the food arrived and when the food did come it was lukewarm at best!! Returned the food, in fairness was offered complimentary drinks which refused. Food came back 10 minutes later, toast was like eating air and fell apart when buttering, black pudding (which we paid extra for) was brick hard but we were assured it was a fresh egg!!! So disappointing given we were the only ones in the place!!

Have to say I think we were very unlucky with our visit. Visited on a Saturday lunch time not long after reopened from NY, 2 young kids were running it and they were very preoccupied in their thoughts & not service. I asked for our table to be cleared and cleaned from the prev customers... he cleared and left the cleaning cloth and spray on our table then started wandering around behind the counter forgetting to finish his task, he then caught on to this and came over to finish cleaning up. Took ages to take our order, I asked for the trio of machiatto and smoothie... My panini and my other half's soup and toastie came waaay before my trio... I had to ask if I was even getting it. Anyway, it came and the waitress spilled the mini coffees all over the wooden tray it was being served in and didn't offer to clean it up. Then... Coffees were luke warm (pictures on social media shows lovely caramel drizzle on top, I got nothing, just a mess) I got another 2 mini coffees but they were very poorly made, I ended up eating our food, paying and leaving. Whilst the food itself was really nice we won't be returning because it was such poor service, very very slow (we were in their for an hour and a half!! Just for coffee and panini/soup) 🙄 such a shame because it's close to us and the photos online look amazing! But that wasn't delivered for us.

A truly unique gift to Inverness. I am a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur and I can honestly say chitchat’s own coffee blend makes the most delicious flat white I have ever had. There are so many touches here you’ve never seen in Inverness. From its creative drinks menu with adorable complimentary sweeties on the side to its eye catching decor and gold cutlery. Every single member of staff greets you with a smile and a positive “nothing is too much trouble” attitude. This place is a diamond find and an absolute must try. Inverness is ram packed with cafes and coffee shops but here is something so much more special. Chit chat is not just a deli, it’s an experience.

They let us get a room at almost 8 pm after our hike went sideways. Room was clean, hot showers, great food.

The Skye Bridge Hotel is a warm hotel strategically placed between the Highlands and the Isle of Skye, so it's perfect for people who, like me, want to see as much of the area as possible. The staff is welcoming and warm, and the bar downstairs is very lively, and the locals are quite open to sharing a beer with a stranger! But be assured that even at the most active hours of the bar, not a sound reached the rooms, which are comfortable, and have a lot of natural light. Mine in particular had a nice view of the town and the mountains surrounding Loch Alsh. This place is just straight up very good, and I definitely recommend it.
