It is always a joy to cone here the food is amazing and some of the cocktails are top class. Service is great friendly and fast.

Visitado antes de ver a Peter Kay en el Arena el 20 de diciembre. Tuvimos una pesadilla absoluta con booking.com re nuestro apartamento y tuvimos que contactar con el restaurante en varias ocasiones para mantenerlos actualizados. Estábamos reservados para las 5 de la tarde, pero no llegamos hasta las 6. 15 pm. El Gerente (las disculpas no obtuvieron su nombre) fue excepcional. Tenía una mesa esperando - a pesar de que llegamos una hora tarde - y también dijo que recibiría nuestro pedido a su debido tiempo cuando llegáramos. Además de eso, cuando nos sentó en la mesa y nos preguntó qué queríamos beber - un gran vino blanco y pinta de corona, amablemente dijo que estaban en la casa. Era justo lo que necesitábamos. La comida era excelente - Hamburguesa para mí y la Paella para mi esposa, absolutley delicioso. Una excelente experiencia, hecho mejor por el gerente y nuestra camarera - de nuevo disculpas, no consiguió su nombre. Luego, al salir, nos mostró el camino más rápido a la Arena. Servicio más allá de la llamada. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente por el servicio, la comida y el ambiente, y volveré a visitar cuando esté en Manchester. ¡Gracias de nuevo!

Beef Tacos were nice nicely flavoured. Mains were beef Chimmichanga and Chicken and Pork Burrito. The worst Mexican food we have had. No beef in the Chimi and no pork in the burrito. Chicken was cooked to death and so hard on the edges u couldnt eat it. The Chimi was just rice n beans. From what the waitress who was nice told us that they were very low on stock. Mentioned the missing ingredients to her and tbf she apologised and went to get the manager who never showed. Hate slating a place but if ur low on stock dont send out shite food and think the customer wont notice.

The worst restaurant we have been to in Manchester. One hour to serve us food.

Worst service ever, very negative and weird vibes in there, acted like we were an inconvenience to them. Barely checked to see if the food was okay, even wanted to order dessert but they were so dismissive we had to go somewhere else. The Older blonde lady that took our order claimed to know everything by heart, wouldn’t write our order down and still got it wrong. Literally came to the table, we said we were ready to order and her comment was “well that’s why I’m stood here”. Just passive aggressive for no reason. Goes on to ask about three tables around us if they needed anything but blanked us each time. Definitely not family friendly as me having a pram also seemed to be a problem.

Lovely restaurant with fantastic staff especially the manager who after a stressful day with booking.com kept the reservation open for us so we could have something to eat. We are so grateful for everything they did and when we arrived all the staff was amazing. Even showed us the way to the arena. Thank you for your kindness

The food was gorgeous it was so fresh and delicious. The lady who was our server was also very very nice, very quick service, really friendly and checked on us a few times throughout the meal to make sure we were okay, she was a big reason why i would come back to this particular restaurant.

I am sorry to say that this was the most tasteless vegetarian meals I have ever ordered in a restaurant. I could not eat it. The flavours and ingredients were “off”. Left a full plate full after trying. It was inedible in my opinion. I wanted to say something but my partner paid up as he did not want any fuss. It was a complete waste of money. It was also freezing in there. Having said that the waitress was lovely.

Entró el sábado después de comprar entradas de última hora para ver a Pete Tong en el AO Arena y el servicio fue nada menos que increíble! No reservamos porque solo decidimos ir en el día, así que sabíamos que habría una espera en la puerta. El gerente masculino en la puerta nos consiguió una mesa tan rápido como pudo, ya que estaba muy ocupado. Tomamos una copa en el bar mientras esperábamos, que fue un poco larga espera, pero totalmente vale la pena. El gerente nos llevó a nuestra mesa y pedimos de inmediato con él, ya que teníamos que salir pronto. La comida salió más rápido de lo que esperábamos, pero de nuevo vale la pena ya que estaba delicioso. Pedimos unas copas más con Nicola que nos tenía en puntos! Servicio increíble y comida / bebida increíble. Gracias a Nicola y al gerente por una visita hilarante y sabrosa. Sin duda volveremos pronto!

Please don’t eat at this restaurant. I have had the worst food poisoning of my life and nearly went to hospital,

I phoned up beforehand to explain me and my partner had a Tastecard (as instructed.) When I arrived I was initially ignored, then eventually sat down and left sat for 15 minutes (it wasn’t that busy) I explained to the waitress (who’s big blonde hair was everywhere) that I had a Tastecard to which she passively aggressively said “I know, you said on the phone…what do you want to eat?” As if I could see who I was talking to on the phone and was being stupid. The Tastecard says to make them aware before/tell the waiter before you order. I then asked a question about the menu and she continued in a passive aggressive manor “it says it on the menu”…then decided to reveal that they’ve been busy so they probably don’t have it. So rude, she clearly didn’t want us there from the offset, so we left.

Super staff. Really personable and to do that job tonight with just 2 of them on wow. And kudos to the chef. Really impressed. Thanks you.

I came here on what was a surprisingly busy Monday evening. As always the welcome we received was warm and friendly including the lovely lady who took my booking earlier in the day. Our server Caitlin really went the extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble. Truly exceptional customer service - engaged in conversation with us, checked what food we wanted as starters and requesting tap water alongside our lovely bottle of Rioja was absolutely fine. The food was mouth watering - I went for the ultimate fajitas and McKenzie in the kitchen really knows how to cook a steak. I asked for medium and it was spot on. A shout out too for Alyssa behind the bar who was also working flat out making cocktails and many other drinks as well as serving tables too. These 3 ladies were literally running the whole restaurant between them and did the Chiquito brand proud. I have been coming here for many years now and it’s because of such great service and food I keep coming back. Last time we were here a couple of weeks prior, Nicola also went above and beyond. If this isn’t enough to convince you to dine here I will let the pictures do the talking. Thanks to all the team for making my birthday such a memorable one :-)

Absolutely appalling! Put my baby in danger. We came on a quiet Sunday afternoon, the staff didn’t seem happy to greet us, sat on a nice corner as suggested by the manager as we have a pram. When the food came (sizzling plates with sharp knives) the server put it above the pram when there was a big space opposite the pram, her reasoning? ‘I’m hangover’.

We came here to have a quick dessert with a drink before heading home. because it’s bonfire night we thought a bit of fire would fit the occasion. The order took a bit long but we didn’t mind as it was a great atmosphere, everytime we looked up we saw something new. As you can see from the photos, the chocolate sauce that came with the churros was very thick and tasted good. The drink itself was pretty sour but that is what I like. I would love to come back next time to try their tacos and burritos!

Qua eten is het hier veel en goed. Dat zorgt ervoor dat de beoordeling beter is, ook is het personeel erg aardig en behulpzaam. De zaak zelf biedt niet heel veel gezelligheid en de afzuiging in de keuken kan ook zeker wat beter. Prijs/kwaliteit is dit erg goed.

Came in for late lunch at 4pm, Waitress was absolutely lovely and the food was awesome Edit Came in again for datenight, Always a lovely experience, staff are lovely and good food to match, 10/10 for Nicola also, she's ace

Today, we visited Chiquito to explore the flavors of Mexican cuisine. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with authentic Mexican touches, which added to the overall dining experience. We selected a variety of dishes from the menu and specifically requested that all the dishes be served at the same time. However, they did not arrive simultaneously. This wasn’t a major issue for us, but it could be a concern for customers who are more particular about timing. The presentation of the dishes was visually appealing, but we found a minor issue with the seasoning. Some dishes had an overly high salt content. I believe this was due to the combination of the natural salt in the ingredients and the added salt, making the overall taste a bit too salty. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and attentive, which positively impacted our experience. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a quick, satisfying meal, I would recommend Chiquito. Aside from these small details, we were generally pleased with our visit.

Visited the location as on visit from.out of town. We were served by Isla who was very very friendly. She even cracked a few jokes with us and made my wife's pina Colada cocktail the way she liked it rather than the way it was suggested in the menu. The food we had was delicious as we both had the nacos starter, fajitas mains and brownie dessert. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, just a shame we are not local as would come along again. Service was excellent as Isla made us very comfortable and the food was top rate.

We went to out for some food before a concert at the arena. It was very busy but the guy on the door was very accommodating to ensure that we could be seated and eat before the concert. The food was amazing as always and the waitress Nicola N was fantastic! Really nice and friendly and even though they was very busy nothing was too much trouble for her! Thanks both.

Iovely place, Excellent service albeit a little slow but the food was a different matter. I got steak with Mexican rice. Steak was lovely but the rice oh my days was as hard as rock ..so hard that it chipped one of my teeth! I wouldn't expect that of rice anywhere and was so disappointed, this will mean a very expensive trip to my dentist, and for someone as petrified as me of dental procedures, you know it's bad. Wouldn't recommend it

Visited this place with couple of friends it has good ambiance, I genuinely appreciate the service, polite and welcoming staff, Food was okay for me but my friends liked it more. I would recommend Chimichanga for vegetarians. what I liked the most was they had the option to make our own dish as per our preference. ✌🏻

Delivered wrong order of rice rather than chips. Worst peppercorn sauce I've ever had, tasted like gravy with pepper. Only redeeming feature was the habbanero sauce chicken wings starter. Safe to say we will not return!

Seated quite quickly, lovely window table. Didn’t come to take drinks order! Food and drink ordered together after sitting for 20mins. Drinks arrived, very nice mojitos. Food arrived - ordered rice not chips, ate nearly all the chips by the time we saw a waitress, rice was brought quickly after that but was not worth waiting for. Finished drinks and food but no one came to ask us for more drinks or to clear the plates and the place was half empty. Decided wouldn’t bother with another drink and finally asked for the bill plates were still there when we left. All in all very disappointing, food was nice but atmosphere and service was well below standard. Wont be going back

Two lots of Churros missing on a meal for two order so because of this although the Burrito was okay I can't recommend Because I was charged for items I didn't receive.

First time in this restaurant and as a Latinoamerican, I can say the food was really good, not 100% Mexican but almost there. 😅 The spicy prawns are the best.

Me and the girlfriend come for a meal and cocktails at least once a month. Would recommend this place for dates or group meals/pre-game for nights out. Can be rather pricey though

We had a lovely meal here with good service last night but I'm only giving one star, they lose points because when I asked for the fixed price menu they told me that it ends at 5pm, when infact looking at their website it states that the fixed price menu is available all day everyday so why lie? It's obvious to me that they just don't want people to have the cheaper menu so lie and say the fixed price isn't available when it is and if it does end at 5pm and that's a recent change then your website needs to be updated to avoid any confusion and frustration. I will be taking this matter further.

Before even reading through all of this I recommend avoiding this resturant at all costs a maccies would have done better by the sounds of it. My son has gone on a day out with his birthday spending money as taking out money to pay he has been clumsy and dropped it leaving it where he was seated this was about an £40 odd going up to 50’s baring in mind there was about 3 people in there not busy, as we’ve left the restaurant we’ve realised and gone back in and the women has said she ran to chase up with us which is a lie as we was stood outside the restaurant on the corner for about 5 mins, she’s ran into the kitchen and said we kept it safe for starters why is it in the kitchen and not at the front desk or behind the till etc??? She’s gone to hand us 20 and we’ve said there was more can we check the cameras it went from we are busy we don’t have time to we are not aloud to , while the manager with blonde hair was stood there just staring at us , to top this off your spending a few pounds on a bunch of sauce and just random veg to make it look like a full bowl of food so overall I recommend avoiding this place , not welcoming staff or trustworthy clearly!

I will never ever come back to this chaquitos in printwork ever again!! This is the first time I’ve had to witness a staff being rude to customers and being unprofessional in a place where customers want to sit and enjoy their time. To start off, I ordered a chicken fajita which is my usual meal I get to then be given only 4 pieces of chicken (which was burnt to an absolute crisp) baring in this cost £17 I’d expect to have a full chicken breast for that price. I was told this is how it’s always served, yet I’ve been to different chaquitos plenty of times and as you can see in that photo I was given a full chicken breast which is how it should of came out in the printwork chaquitos. You get given 3 wraps so that’s pretty much one small piece of chicken per wrap which is a complete joke. My partners food was stone cold so he struggled to eat the food, £50 wasted. After pulling the brunette lady about my food she went and brought my food to the back and I heard the blonde manager slagging us off saying “oh god there’s always one that likes to moan” yes damn right I should moan and before you start slagging off your customers who are here to just have a good time, maybe speak a bit quietly next time so your customers don’t hear you slagging us off!!👍🏼 just also want to say the brunette lady was very polite and apologetic about my experience here which wasn’t her fault at all but on the other hand, the blonde manager needs to learn to have manners towards customers and understand that if something isn’t right then people are allowed to complain if they ain’t happy with the food that THEY are paying for! I’ve seen way too many bad reviews about this blonde women, so I hope you read this and try to learn from from your mistakes, this is a food place so you need to give people good customer service with respect instead of sitting people down and walking off straight away to go have a friends meeting for a chit chat

Always so welcome at a Chiquito, the staff set the restaurant apart. After a second visit, I'm happy to confirm that this is the friendliest restaurant in Manchester. Genuinely thoughtful and caring staff. Nothing is too much trouble. If you want to be well looked after, then look no further. They deserve 6 stars.

Walked in walked back out,didn’t feel welcomed and I hope the manager (miss women) reads this and contemplates maybe welcoming willing paying customers with a smile or even eye contact,as well as have weird passive aggressive attitude when being asked if I want to order a drink,sort ur self n staff out # vom

Just been for a birthday meal with my family in the chiquitos in printoworks food wasn’t great , just before we were ready to leave I went to the gents to wash my hands and as soon as I opened the door smoke bellowed out and could tell someone had been vaping , I didn’t catch the lady mangers name but she burst in and automatically accused me of vaping in the toilet , I told her to check her cameras and she would see that it wasn’t me as I hadn’t even entered the toilets fully I even then stood there to hold the door open to allow the smoke out as she was still accusing me saying she could smell that “I” had been vaping , upon leaving I went ask for an apology which she refused , it was my sons 21st birthday meal and she has now just completely ruined our night and put us all in a bad mood and we are now on our way home , safe to say won’t be visiting this restaurant again and to the manger reading this all it would have taken was sorry for automatically accusing you , she really needs better people skills to be working in this kind of environment

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and seated at a nice booth. Nicola was very attentive and we soon had drinks and starters. The restaurant was really busy but we never felt rushed, the service from Nicola was excellent. A great birthday treat for my son and my family.

The service could have been better from start to finish and there was a few times we had to repeat what’s we had requested for our table. We had to flag down a waiter for our bill to which she answered “one moment” but then seen her dealing with other tables and forgot about us then we asked the waiter which was serving us instead which was handed to us promptly. The food was ok but we loved the halloumi sticks, and the nachos needed a little more toppings. There needs to be new dishes introduced!

I have to recommend this place because the food is delicious!! For me the best were the Pork Tacos with barbecue sauce, delicious!! The chicken burrito is huge and very good too.

We had a lovely meal and experience at Chiquitos in the Printworks, Manchester. The restaurant wasn't too busy and was very inviting. We were warmly greeted by our server and shown to our table. The food was absolutely amazing and we thoroughly recommend the burritos and fajitas. The portions are huge and so flavoursome and if you love spice definitely ask for the habanero sauce! As mentioned earlier, our server was so friendly and attentive and it was only when he asked what are plans were for the rest of the day that we found out the gig we had gone to see, hence our stay in Manchester, was cancelled! I'm so glad he told us as we were unaware and would have rocked up at the ao arena to a closed venue! We thoroughly recommend Chiquitos in the printworks.

Food was just dreadful and overpriced. Honestly the Tesco fajita and those el paso enchilada kits are miles better. I can't believe I spent £39 at that place on this dreadful food. Service was decent though.

Visited for an early dinner. Food was mediocre at best and cold. Staff were rude and didn’t speak to us when being seated or bringing food over. Was a quiet time to visit so wasn’t like there were lots of customers to serve. Wouldn’t come again.

Absolutely Atrocious! We went in as a party of 3 for a 30th birthday, there was nobody else in the restaurant. We got the lunch menu and the starters took over 30mins to arrive that had been say under the heat lamp for ages. All while the 3 members of staff sat across from us Eating and having coffee. Incredibly unprofessional! Starters cleared and another 20 minutes go by and no mains. We gave up and told them we didn't want our food, the manager sat on her arse and couldn't even come over and apologise. Disgraceful service! Maybe consider hiring a completely new team!

Delivery came on time. Chicken fajita came with no tortilla and no sauces. And the texan stack burger came alone with no sides or skin on fries. I called the restaurant and was told they admitted it was their fault but there was nothing they could do apparently... and they tried to say I only ordered a burger and not meal. I have proof that what I ordered on the menu was a meal. This was a birthday meal for my wife and myself and it was ruined. No help at all. Waiting on a resolution still.

Great menu with lots of options.

Booked for a table for 3 for my little girls birthday. 2 meals came out together my fajitas came late as the other 2 were finishing. My wraps were cold , and the waitress was unapologetic. We spoke to the manager and another waitress to did say sorry and took my meal of the bill. The food overall was very bland and lacked flavour. Very dissapointed and will not be returning.

Very nice Mexican food, good selection of food and drinks. Pretty pricey though, you'll need nearly £100 for a family of 4 to have two courses and 1 drink.

The place is fast-paced with a fast turnover of people. This, of course, is due to the location. I went on Boxing Day. The food was good. Our waitress Ava was such a breath of fresh air. I wish there was more like her. Thank you Ava.

I went with a few friends to celebrate a birthday, and the waitress oliwia was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! she greeted us straight away with a massive smile on her face and didn’t hesitate to be the most helpful friendly waitress i think ive ever met. i work as a waiter and i want lessons from her because of how amazing she was. give this girl a pay rise!!!

Pretty dire experience! The staff were friendly but the food was dry & lacked flavour with the birria quesadilla having literally no filling at all - only rescue was the jalapeño poppers.
