Polite staff pleseant atmosphere but we should mention We stopped using this chop shop as the fish had a lot of bones through them and it seams they still have the same issue. Pizza very nice just a shame the fish got wasted due to the amount of bones in them.

I liked old Chippers. Don't get me wrong, new Chippers is fine, but it's just not quite the same. It's cheap and it's "fine" that's the most I can say.

I just got my delivery and it was cold to eat I will not be back

Chippers was great when they reopened and the shop was always busy with customers. Huge crispy fish & great chips. On my last 2 visits, not as many customers in the shop and the fish portions have shrunk. The batter was soggy & greasy, the chips were greasy & they had a taste to them like the oil needed changing. I had to crisp my fish & chips up in my air fryer when I got home! I won't be back 😕

I like Chippers always find the workers very helpful

Reviewed on Just Eat but food was soggy, tasted like cardboard from the boxes they were in and all the food had sweated. The quality of the food isn’t great either. It took nearly 2 hours for delivery also. £30 wasted.

Food was in the bain Marie was dry and hard

ordered a kebab roll and half pizza crunch supper yesterday the 31st Oct the kebab meat was hard as if it was lying for hours and couldn't eat it had to put it in the bin my daughter couldn't eat her pizza crunch she went to take a bite and said mum it smells funny so I smelt it and smelt like fish as if it had been Cooked beside fish which is dangerous as people are allergic to fish and the chips looked and tasted like they had been reheated loads of times will never be back I spent £9.20 and it all went in the bin

Pre ordered food before shop opened still waiting at 17.30 for delivery that should have been here at 16.45

Ordered from just eat. They took my order but when I questioned why it was late, baring in mind I’d waited over an hour they cancelled it without warning or care. Staff were unhelpful and uncaring. If they can’t keep up with orderes they shouldn’t be on a sight like that. Shocking service won’t recommend

Recently opened under new management, based on last night's visit they have a few teething problems to sort out, as well as perhaps paying attention and listening to customers a bit more. The fish on my fish supper had clearly been cooked some time earlier and left under the lights, completely drying it out and making it virtually inedible, I asked for salt & vinegar on it and the guy quickly put some salt and vinegar on the fish, none on the chips underneath... something that sometimes lazy chip shop workers are guilty of, had to twice ask for salt and vinegar on the chips underneath as the guy was seemingly more concerned with the Deliveroo orders he was also dealing with, I requested S&V on my other items but they were wrapped/bagged by another member of staff whilst I was pointing out to the guy he hadn't put any salt and vinegar on the chips of my supper, my kids informed me there was absolutely nothing on their food and, having checked it was blatantly evident nothing had put on them, clearly in a rush to get my items bagged and paid for as they had several other orders to process meaning a simple, but essential request for chip shop food is overlooked, resulting in bland and tasteless food. £16 for a fish supper where the fish was rotten and given to the dog and two other items with no salt and vinegar put on them despite being asked for, not very great truth be told.

I'm only giving 1☆ because I have to. Walked 20min from our hotel only to find it was closed not impressed by Google maps stating it was open . Walked 20mins back to hotel but had missed dinner . Feel very let down by Google maps😡

Excellent value, tasty food, and amazingly friendly owners..... looks to be closed for good now 🥺 as its cleared out (12/1/22).... hope not, where are you Gordon and Moira?... hope everything ok with you.... kids and i are missing seeing you x

Hardly any chips with supper and way too greasy

I visited this fast food establishment recently while in the area, the shop appears to be very clean, with pleasant and friendly staff, the food itself was freshly cooked, the service was excellent as I got served immediately upon entering, { you can't get better than that} the prices were reasonable, the chip sauce was to die for, I'm sure I will be back.

Didn't like the food much though the chips weren't very tasty
