Sorted Friday Chippy Tea Thanks Uncle Was Nice Too. Not Sure If I Was Over Charged Though Was A Bit Pricey Tonight And I Didn't Even Get Mushy Peas Mate

This is our favourite chippy, as it's the most consistent with its chips. They are always friendly and recognise us when we come in which is nice. Kids fish and chips is good value too with a decent sized piece of fish.

Had a £3.20 cone of chips from here after a Arsenal v Wolves game The chips were very nice well Cooke and you help yourself to salt and vinegar so you can put on as much or a little as you like The staff were helpful and efficient

There are so many! When two people visit, it is recommended to order only one fish and chips (including potatoes) and add a side menu! The staff are bright and friendly!

Always buy from this chippy! Always a friendly vibe, chips are cooked fresh for me, the fish isn't too oily like some places. They always throw a few extra wings in whenever I order them 😉. Paradise park is nearby so you can do lunch in the park. I usually buy a large chips and have it on the grass with the kids and it feeds us all.

Food is always fresh and service great. I've been going there for over 40 years. On my last visit, it was like I was at a family reunion. Old faces, now with their young ones... how times flies.

Having looked around on line for a 'good' local fish and chips shop this came up as being quite local to us. I won't be looking any further. Beautiful rock and chips freshly cooked (although a bit too much for me). Batter was perfect-light and crispy and chips could not have been any better. Staff all very friendly as well. Will definitely be going back again.

The fish and ships are very good. Everything was fine until I paid, then I was deceived for being a tourist, I still complained but the slick English they spoke in made it impossible to understand why I had to pay more than 14 pounds.

Considering UK prices, it’s cheap and delicious!! The owner is really friendly and it's a restaurant worth visiting at least once if you're hungry after visiting the Emirates Stadium.

The Chip in Fish Bar is the best fish and chips shop in Holloway Islington, great food, great customer service, and lovely people who run it.

Get place to eat before a game... the best chips around... all reasonable priced too.

Food was awful. I ordered saveloy with chips and a doner kebab. The chips were bland, no flavour at all and a bit undercooked. The saveloy had obviously been there for a long time. It had completely dried out and was hard.. the kebab was OK. Luckily I asked for the garlic sauce to be put separate from the kebab. It tasted unusual , like plastic- vile. Avoid!!

Walked past this restaurant a couple of times and wanted to try it before I left. So I got the large cod fillet and chips for lunch and was shocked at the portion that I got. The size of the fish was huge with heaps amount of chips, very delicious and worth the amount that I paid for.

Best fish & chip place in London. The fish is spot on - nice and freshly fried and thick - absolutely perfect! I always skip the chips and get double peas and a pickle 😉 lovely people running it as well 10/10!

They serve watery and thin curry sauce, probably to make it go further. The chips really lack flavour, as do the sausages! Decent portion though, standard London price, but disappointing food. Had much better chippys up north and elsewhere

Lovely fish & chips and friendly staff. I visited approx. 3:30pm and there was only one other takeaway customer in the shop, therefore, I have given a neutral 3 stars for atmosphere.

That was probably the biggest cod I've ever eaten, it wasnt easy to cope with that, but the taste was amazing! Perfect place for all the Gooners, you just have to eat there on a matchday!

When my fish turned up we all went wow so big it hang off the sides of the plate .I could bearly walk away so filling and well cooked amazing .

Fish is excellent. Dine in prices are a rip off - £6.20 for pie and chips and £7.20 for 2 sausage and chips plus another £3 for a couple of cans of drink. A total of £16.40 but the guy on the till charged me £20. When I queried the cost he told me it was correct and that he would never overcharge a customer - well he certainly won't be overcharging me again. Despite it being the best chippy in the area I won't be back.

Great fish and chips, even better service! Wanted to try the fish and chips here, ever since I saw the Arsenal ad with Aaron Ramsdale and David Seaman. The owners are very friendly. Ordered the haddock and chips. Such a massive piece of haddock. Crisp, well cooked fish! Used the mayo generously with the chips. This eatery gets a flurry of orders, as I could see several delivery boys go in and out.

Sehr gute Fish&Chips-Bude in der Nähe vom Emirates Stadium. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und wirklich gutes Essen. Der einzige Haken: Die Portionen sind viel zu groß. Normalerweise bin ich ein Vielfraß, aber dennoch bestellte ich eine kleine Portion Fish&Chips. Was dann aber kam wäre in manch anderen Restaurants die Menge von 3 Portionen. Aber zum Teilen sehr empfehlenswert.

Friendly and welcoming owners. Very large, beautifully cooked piece of cod served with traditional chips. Good value for money, ketchup and tartare sauce provided at no extra charge. Would highly recommend.

The quality of the food was very good - that's the first thing. BUT: 1) I ordered via one of the delivery APPS - (I did not visit the establishment) 2) The establishment specifically (and annoyingly) took no account at all of my specific instructions regarding the food packaging 3) When it arrived there was a carton of liquid food that had been placed on top of the boxes and inevitably it fell over in transit - causing the food inside to be lost completely within the bag - but also drenched the rest of the contents and caused the main box to be unstable.

A true unassuming gem in highbury. My party of 6 were welcomed by David. We immediately felt like long lost regulars back for another go at the divine chips & fish. The food was unmistakably true to its roots. Simple, perfectly cooked & reasonably priced. We were served a generous portion of pickles. We delightfully ate away. What a joy!!

Disgusting food. Ordered a takeout from here, chips were the only good thing, but it was a but undercooked. The wings i got was really greasy and salty and stale. The quarter pounder was also atrocious with no taste and loads of lettuce and onions. Dont let the arsenal side fool you with the taste and quality of the food.

I’ve often visited the chip inn on matchdays and this was the first time I took my young son, when you consider how busy it gets in here on a Matchday you’d never know it, except for the sheer volume of customers, the staff are as friendly and polite as they are at quieter times and the food is always pukka tucker. Also they have ridiculously reasonable prices considering where they are abs when the could rinse you of the wanted to on match days. Please visit and keep a local institution going strong for another 60+ years

After all the hype and great advert at Arsenal stadium and on YouTube I wanted to go and try this place for myself and not on a match day. Well it was worth the trek from Brondesbury Park Fish was as good as I've had anywhere in London, and that includes the marvellous Skipjacks in Queensbury; crispy, thin and non greasy batter, fresh meaty cod. Fabulous! The chips, though, were nothing special; nothing at all wrong with them but not delicious, which all chips should be of course be and not as nice as my local fish n chips in Willesden Green (I'm just talking about the chips not the fish) Very reasonable price and very clean and comfortable place to sit down if you manage to get a seat; highly unlikely on match day I would have thought.

Fast no nonsense service, just what you want from a chippie. Haddock is excellent and the chips are good. Everything a bit on the greasy side, served in hastily-wrapped paper, which is frankly as it should be.

Outstanding fish & chips, big portions, cheery service and a proper chippy, what's not to love! Open for takeaway only at the moment (lockdown 2021) but plenty of tables to eat in during usual times.
