Chinese King Gourmet in Wiltshire

Ordered take away. Was told 45 mins. 1 and half hours later it arrived. STONE COLD!! Managed to catch delivery guy and sent it back. I phoned lees again. Asked how long would the fresh meal take. They said another 45 mins. Ridiculous! 3 hours for an order to be progressed? Please, there are other good take aways in chippenham. Do yourself a favour and use them.

We ordered a takeaway online on thier website at 19.20 from this restaurant to be delivered at 20.20. Received an email confirming delivery in 60 minutes. I rang the restaurant at 20.29 to be told food had left the restaurant. At 20.45, the food arrived and was not hot enough to eat without reheating. I rang the restaurant to ask for a fresh meal. Was told by the very rude gentleman on the phone, they will not provide a fresh meal and if I want a refund I have to drive to the restaurant. My wife rang to be told they don't need our custom, and we do not know what we are talking about. No customer service at all. If you pay for hot food, you expect hot food. Not from this establishment. Ĝ

No flavour. No sauce just very watery. Microwaved for sure. I had beef in black bean water. Prawns and cashew nuts in water and the chow mein had the lovely pre cooked chicken in it. It’s a no from me. And it was a Wednesday it was quick just not fresh. Diabolical

I recently visited The New Jade Kitchen, and I must say, it's always a reliable choice for delicious Chinese cuisine in the area. I went for dinner one evening with my family, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed, yet lively evening. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the menu offered a great variety of options to suit everyone’s tastes. We tried the crispy duck and the sweet and sour chicken, both of which were exceptional — perfectly cooked and packed with flavour. On another visit, I came alone for lunch, and the experience was just as enjoyable. I opted for a lighter meal this time, the steamed dumplings, which were incredibly fresh and full of flavour. Whether dining with family or going solo, The New Jade Kitchen never disappoints with its consistent quality and friendly service. Definitely recommend it if you're in the mood for a comforting meal!

The staff are friendly, and there's plenty of parking available, but the café has changed and isn't as good as it used to be.
