The selection of pastries is really impressive and tastes excellent - everything I tried was delicious. However, the store is quite narrow and small, which means it quickly becomes crowded, especially at peak times. The prices are sometimes quite high, which may not please everyone. The cashiers seem rushed, which may be due to the hectic pace. Great baked goods, but the ambience cannot be described as nice.

I enjoyed trying new things at the Chinatown bakery. I tried the coconut roll which was my favourite, alongside the Pandan cake. The chicken floss cake was interesting - my partner loved this. I’d have loved to have a custard bun or pastry but they ran out. The only thing I would say to improve is that the trays and tongs need wiping down and cleaning more regularly. The staff are extremely friendly and kind, made the end experience lovely. We got around 4 or 5 things and paid around £10 or just over. Good value.

A very popular and busy bakery . Lots of sweet and savoury options available. From the classic red bean bun to huge slices of sponge cake . At peak times the queues can get long so it's worth trying to plan a visit around quieter periods . It's good value and inexpensive. Recommended

Came here on Saturday for the first time after seeing the raving reviews on tiktok. I tried the Small Taiyaki fish with custard fillings 4 for £2.50 and they were delicious! The filling wasn’t runny it was more solidified and had a custardy/vanilla taste to it. Highly recommend ordering this so worth it and so cheap! My friend ordered the Deli Taiyaki - Nutella for £4.50 and this was delicious too! It had a crunchier bite to it whereas the mini taiyaki had a soft bite. Both were delicious, great service and good prices. Definitely recommend visiting. There were lots of other delicious baked goods in the store that I will be going back to try. I also had a yakult yogurt drink for i think 70p and that was tasty and refreshing.

As a dessert lover, I couldn’t resist trying the custard buns and chiffon cakes in Central London China Town—and they didn’t disappoint! The custard buns were incredibly soft and fluffy, with a creamy filling that wasn’t overly sweet, making them absolutely perfect. Just make sure to peel off the outer layer of the custard bun before enjoying the creamy goodness inside! The chiffon cake was light, spongy, and melted in my mouth with every bite. Both were vegetarian-friendly, which is a huge plus! The best part? Everything was super affordable—I got these delicious treats for under £10. However, I was disappointed when I asked for tissues and was told they didn’t have any. It’s a basic necessity that every bakery should have, and it was surprising to hear otherwise. Overall, the flavors and textures were incredible, and it’s a must-try spot, especially if you prefer desserts that aren’t overly sweet! The bakery is located on one of the streets in the China Town district. It's easy to get here, because from a distance our attention is drawn to the beautiful smell of baked tayiaki fish. You can buy them in a large version, already made, waiting for us in the bakery. The price is around £4 per fish. Or choose the option of smaller fish, baked hot after placing the order. The price is £2 for 4 small fish. The bakery operates in a self-service system. At the entrance, there are lunch trays waiting for us, on which we collect the things we are interested in, and when we are ready, we go to the cash register and add up our order. Despite the traffic there most of the time, thanks to this solution, everything goes quite smoothly. All the baked goods are very good and the prices are pleasant. I highly recommend trying the rolls with a sweet shell and bean paste inside 🥰

Wo! Here I am guys, once again, me, myself and my matcha’s cravings. If you love matcha and want to try something special in London, do go straight away to this bakery. They make it an ice cream. Can you believe it? There is more. You can choose between having it in a cone fish shaped or in a mango flavoured sweet bread. I have chosen the mango bread. Followers, it does taste like mango as well as the ice cream which tastes exactly like tea. This is kind of a dream. It is also so warm, just baked for us! For some reason, I have the impression to eat a healthy treat…crazy stuff over here. Very quick service and friendly staff. Will try the red bean ice cream next time. Cheers you all 👏

This is my favourite branch for no determinable reason, the ladies that work here are brilliantly no nonsense. The food in my opinion is both delicious and incredibly well priced.
