Excellent food and atmosphere. The lasagna in the iron casserole was divine. Special mention goes to the service provided by Tiago, who recommended the dishes in Portuguese and to Ali. I recommend it!

Although we had booked a week before when we arrived for our lunch we were told there was no reservation ! I showed the waiter my phone confirming the reservation. Only a few tables were taken but we were made to feel most unwelcome. We only stayed because the weather was quite horrendous. Having said that the food was enjoyable. Unlike the staff who were sullen & unwelcoming. Not a destination we will revisit

The food was alright, could have been hotter and the carbonara was pretty underwhelming from what I heard about it being the best. The staff were rude too when we asked I we could split the bill 4 ways they said to “do it yourself” in a rude tone, they could have been polite about it since we were asking politely. I also asked to deduct the service charge as a result of their rudeness and they still charged it even though it was optional.

We went to this restaurant due to the good reviews on Google and we were greatly surprised. We have eaten spectacularly well, the place is beautiful in terms of decoration and they have a very good quality-price!!! It is worth highlighting the two girls who understood us, Monica and Dag, thanks to them we will definitely return!! They have provided impeccable treatment and have been very very very pleasant, a 10!!

I had the steak, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and for dessert, I had the chocolate fondant – it was heavenly! The service was exceptional, and our server Dagmara made sure we felt well taken care of throughout the evening. We also loved the private room for our party – it was perfect for our celebration. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, making it the perfect spot for a family outing or a special occasion. I love everything about Amalfi Restaurant—it’s probably one of my favorite dining spots in central London. A solid 10/10! I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Amalfi! The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. For my main course, I had the lobster pasta, and it was incredible! The lobster was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, and paired wonderfully with the pasta and sauce. Every bite was a delight, and the portion size was generous. For dessert, I went with the salted caramel chocolate pot, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. The combination of rich chocolate and the subtle sweetness of caramel with a hint of salt was absolutely divine. It’s a must-try for any dessert lover! Overall, Amalfi exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return to try more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommend!

Don't expect high gastronomy from London, just high prices. It constantly amazes me that people settle for average even though they are paying for luxury. At the outset, I will immediately mention two problems - we waited a long time before the staff even noticed us and nobody knew about our online reservation. But in general, this company has a problem with punctuality. They say that you wait for the good, but you don't have to wait for the average. I guess an hour has passed since I ordered the food. We had lasagna - tasted like a semi-finished product 3/5, spaghetti - tasted just like I made it at home 3/5 and a caesar salad with chicken - you couldn't fault it 5/5. At the end, we asked for tiramisu, in Slovakia we would call this act Tiramisový rez and in Italy barbastvo 3/5. The service was very pleasant, the premises clean and luxurious looking, and the prices astronomically high for the price/quality ratio. However, this is not the problem of one restaurant, but more or less of the entire London gastronomy. I would definitely come back here, because of the errands to the restaurant, this one was the best so far, although, as I already mentioned, average.

I have never seen a restaurant so unprofessional and so overrated with their opinions (probably bought), as soon as we arrive the waitress in a hurry does not consider us and places us as if it were a chore. The plates arrive with still tomato sauce from a former customer I imagine.. For £19 we choose to take the platter to share. It was to be expected... 3 poor slices of chorizo ​​fighting a duel with a burrata and lots of salad. The shrimp pasta was good but the portion still left something to be desired compared to the photos of what they post. And to finish we decided to have the chocolate fondants (On the menu it is marked with a warm and flowing heart..). The fondants arrived and they were cold, I imagine it wasn't homemade, you could see the scratches from the aluminum pot on the edges of the fondant. But the least I could do was for it to be hot, I asked the waitress to warm it up for me, she came back with 2 more fondants, even colder. This is where I gave up and told myself that nothing was worth it in this restaurant. Paying so much to have poor service and poor quality food, I'm sorry but this restaurant clearly doesn't deserve its positive reviews.
