Amalfi Ristorante in City of London, Westminster

Very tasty food, you didn't have to wait long but it was a great restaurant and the service was great

I have never seen a restaurant so unprofessional and so overrated with their opinions (probably bought), as soon as we arrive the waitress in a hurry does not consider us and places us as if it were a chore. The plates arrive with still tomato sauce from a former customer I imagine.. For £19 we choose to take the platter to share. It was to be expected... 3 poor slices of chorizo ​​fighting a duel with a burrata and lots of salad. The shrimp pasta was good but the portion still left something to be desired compared to the photos of what they post. And to finish we decided to have the chocolate fondants (On the menu it is marked with a warm and flowing heart..). The fondants arrived and they were cold, I imagine it wasn't homemade, you could see the scratches from the aluminum pot on the edges of the fondant. But the least I could do was for it to be hot, I asked the waitress to warm it up for me, she came back with 2 more fondants, even colder. This is where I gave up and told myself that nothing was worth it in this restaurant. Paying so much to have poor service and poor quality food, I'm sorry but this restaurant clearly doesn't deserve its positive reviews.

My friend and I visited Amalfi for my birthday dinner and had a great time We were served by Ana and Monica whom gave great service and were very attentive We had the carne pizzas which were delicious and a fair price for London Would recommend!

A pretty slow service and strange atmosphere - everyone's running around, cleaning tables, strange - just very odd atmosphere. The food is average. The portions are ridiculously small. Embarrassingly so. Honestly absolutely nothing special.

I love dining at Amalfi as I am fond of Italian food and it is near my workplace and another main reason is I love the taste of food here. I am big fan of Burrata in starters . I did enjoy Pasta Arrabiata but Burrata is exceptionally good here.

Great find. This restaurant offers good dishes with very welcoming staff. The risotto was very good / the pizzas too. Thanks again to Kaïs for his sympathy, we will happily come back to eat at this place. Be careful to make reservations to eat there because there are a lot of people.

The food was terrible not sure why they’ve got such high ratings cause that’s what attracted me to try it too but in the end it was a disappointment… definitely don’t live up to its name. The cocktails wasn’t the greatest neither as it wasn’t even half way filled any it was mostly ice not sure if that’s how it supposed to look like but I doubt. I’ve ordered the mushroom pasta and my mushrooms weren’t cooked properly and they looked as if they’ve been cut with an axe no wonder they couldn’t cook them properly since the pieces were so big. Anyway I took this off my restaurants list just to make sure I won’t make the same mistake again and will meanwhile try to find proper Italian places in London. P.S the plating might look great cause it’s covered in Parmesan but that’s all.. pasta was way undercooked. I’ve had a lot of pasta in Italy and this just isn’t it. I guess for proper pasta you have to fly to Italy and keep your expectations low when you’re eating them somewhere else.

ana maria and jo gave great service throughout the whole meal, making sure we was served quickly, explained the menu to me and was ready to serve and help whenever needed, whilst being so friendly the whole time.
