The food was excellent and the service was great

2 pizzas and a garlic bread. The Amatriciana was good as was the Margherita. Cheesecake to follow was ok. With drinks and service charge 67 pound. No accessibility here whatsoever. Two big steps to get in. I asked if there was a disabled toilet and was told quite rudely "No, downstairs." So began a slow, wobbly descent and subsequent ascent down to their toilet. Found the wait to have out order taken too long, staff very brusque in manner and almost hostile as if I dared to ask for a toilet I could use in comfort. Will not be back to this place.

The sourdough pizza was very nice and flavorful, highly recommended. Me and another person ate here and it only came out to be £37 including tax! The service was amazing even though the waiter told us that they were a person short!

The atmosphere is very vibrant and the staff are really nice here, Yaseen especially was extremely helpful and had great recommendations! The food was also nice and the Italian smoked beef pizza was a favourite.

It's a good and better place to enjoy fresh baked pizza in city center

Disfrutamos de una delgada pizza de corteza en Londres cerca del Big Bus (hop - on hop) Off) stop # 13. Después de un largo día de caminata y llegar a varios lugares turísticos, este fue el hallazgo perfecto. El olor a masa de pizza me llamó la atención mientras pasábamos. Inmediatamente dimos la vuelta y pedimos dos pizzas y vino. Cada bocado fue la combinación perfecta de corteza de pizza y sabores sensacionales. El servicio fue rápido y cortés. Los dips de ajo y pesto fueron la adición perfecta. Cenaría aquí de nuevo.

Everything was spot on and the service by Shubham was very speedy and welcoming. Would definitely come for lunch again soon.

Naiara, the waitress, treated us exceptionally and Felix the cook, in addition to being friendly and pleasant, cooks some pizzas that take away the sense.

Yaseen was very helpful and helped us select great pizzas! Food arrived quickly and was fresh and tasty!

It was late, about 10pm, and I just wanted a quick pizza after work, and Shubham made me feel very welcome, and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Great, chilled atmosphere too!

Big shout out to the team at the London Strand branch! We had a table booked an hour pre-theatre. Due to a kitchen emergency the food came really late and we had to leave as it arrived, asked for takeaway boxes and were fully prepared to eat our pizzas while walking to the theatre. The manager was so kind and calm, didn't charge for anything and told us to just come back after the show, they'd make us fresh ones. Not only did they do that, but also all our drinks (and the olives we ordered as a starter) were on the house. We were so impressed with their kindness and will be back.

The pizza was delicious, the atmosphere was great and relaxed & Shubham was so hospitable and lovely! Definitely recommend coming just before lunch. 12:00 is a perfect time to still get a seat.

Shittiest experience. At 4 pm (while the restaurant is almost fully empty) they did not give me a table because i was a single person and the table was for 2 people. My question is, are you also refusing people when they come in a group of 3 to sit on a table for 4? What the heck! If it was 8 pm or smth and the place was full, it could maybe make sense (still not really) but what is wrong with you! I had a very bad day and i wanted to treat myself with a pizza and take some me time, but they frkn ruined my day further.

Honestly Yassin the server was amazing. So friendly, telling jokes, great food. And btw, he gave us a free shot for writing this review - can’t complain. Cheers Y xx

Came in to a basically half full restaurant. Was told we could sit at a table on the back. Then others started filing in. They forgot about us and started taking at least 3 other tables orders (who you guessed it - came in after us.) we got up and left. You need a better means of determining who you’ve seated in order to get their food order.

Ate here at 6:30pm on a Thursday night, and had to queue for around 15 mins for a table of two. This wasn’t too bad considering the timing, however the restaurant was definitely understaffed as plenty of tables were free but just needed clearing. Once seated our orders were taken quickly, and the pizzas were okay. I ordered the number 4, but asked to swap the white base sauce for just a normal tomato base, which the waitress said was no problem. However when the bill came I noted than an extra £1.70 had been added for ‘organic tomato’ which firstly was a steep price to swap a more expensive white base for just normal tomato, and secondly very deceitful not to have been advised of this charge at the time of ordering. A shame as this ruined an otherwise pleasant experience at this restaurant.

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten!

We really liked the place, they have little variety on the menu but everything is very delicious. If I had to say something, it's that I don't understand why they put the calories in each dish on the menu, it seems an atrocity to me.

It was our first visit on Saturday. It was busy when we arrived. We had to wait for Minutes. It was worth the wait. Service was quick and very friendly staff Food was good too.

How they managed to walk down the stairs with 4 pizzas in their hands impressed my friend and I greatly. Food was good too and even though we waited over an hour for the bill we didn’t mind.

Food was delicious. Didn’t open till 12:00 and by 12:05 place was packed. Get there early, or reserve a table. Great pizza.

Looking for somewhere to eat before the theatre, came across Franco Manca. Lovely pizza place, reasonably priced. One amazing very calm pizza chef cooking in the middle of the restaurant for everyone! Food was amazing. Served and greeted at the door by Shubham who was very attentive. So glad we came here and will visit again.

Worst Franco Manca in London. Terrible service! Receptionist very rude and couldn’t be bothered to check if they had tables available even though half of the restaurant was empty.

We were waiting for like 20 mins we could see almost all tables were empty and in the whole restaurant only one guy was working 17-18 people were standing in line that guy didn’t even bother come and ask us. Never going in any of the Franco manca again.

Pizza was on point. Will come back next time I'm in London.

A spectacular pizza, very Neapolitan, very delicious

4.5/5 On my recent trip to London, I ended up dining at this amazing pizza place in Aldwych. I was a bit apprehensive at first, since my experience at their Canterbury branch was beyond high praises and wondered how Aldwych would fare in comparison. I ordered the same kind of pizza (with same request for some amendment) and they happily complied. While the pizza at Aldwych did not taste as heavenly, but the service was just as unparalleled or better! Klejla was absolutely patient while interacting with me and other customers as well. She regularly checked to see if things were alright and came across as a wonderful front-of-house staff. A special shout out to Naiara, the chef: She was sure to flash a genuine smile at her customers whenever they caught her busy at the craft. She even managed to interact with a toddler and tended to the child's curiosity about everything they could see in the open kitchen space. Overall, a good experience as always! I wish there was a Franco Manca in York as well.

Really poor service, forgot half our food and drinks

The slowest service possible. We waiting 10 mins beyond the time of our reservation for the table to be ready then another 15 minutes for the order to be taken. Even worse, after waiting 30 more minutes for our 4 pizzas to arrive we had to remind the waiter who promised the pizzas in 5 minutes. A full hour after our reservation time 3 pizzas and a salad arrived - we hadn’t ordered a salad. We then had to wait for the 4th pizza. We could not enjoy the food as we had to rush out to the theatre 5 minutes after the pizzas finally arrived. This was a very disappointing birthday treat. I cannot recommend this restaurant as the service is very unreliable and very slow.

The service was very bad. We had to ask multiple times to order, then we had to ask multiple times for our drinks, to get our bill and to pay our bill. We told the waiter about the delays and how unhappy we were and we got ignored. Don’t come to this place unless you want to wait and remind the waiters for everything you need.

DONT order the chocolate cake trust me

We went there with our kids and service + attention was excellent. Staff members were friendly and patient with the boys, thanks team. Food excellent too.

1 star because they said there was no cheesecake so I had to choose affogato and 2 minutes later another waiter came and said there was cheesecake..

Franco manca is always a safe bet for food, but special mention to lovely Abbey and the manager for being very patient with us and our various vouchers/stamps! Made our meal very pleasant
