This is a must visit if you love delicious food. I stopped at the Chinese Bakery to grab several savory pastries, went to Beijing Dumpling for some fantastic xiao long bao, grabbed a Korean corn dog, some beef noodles, and chicken katsu curry at Tokyo Diner.

I had not been looking forward to this attraction after reading about it online, but my boyfriend has an Asian stomach, so I took him to Chinatown to eat. Maybe it was because it was a weekday so there weren't a lot of people there, so there wasn't the problem of poor security due to crowds as people said on the Internet. There are many Asian restaurants to choose from, including Sichuan cuisine, Hunan cuisine, Taiwanese restaurants, Korean restaurants, Hong Kong cuisine... and so on. There are also many choices of hand-shaken drink shops. There are even quite a few Asian supermarkets here that carry many products that make you miss your hometown. If you have time, you can take some time to browse around. The lanterns are hung in a traditional New Year style, looking festive and very Chinese. This time we had dinner at an all-you-can-eat hotpot restaurant. The price was reasonable for London and the taste was great. I haven’t eaten hot pot for a long time.

Chinatown in London's Soho (between Leicester Square and Shaftesbury Avenue) is a vibrant neighborhood that celebrates the Chinese culture. The streets are lined with all far eastern restaurants, supermarkets, and shops, offering a wide variety of traditional and modern Chinese goods. Commonly packed by tourists and locals seeking oriental food and frequently you'll have to wait patiently in queues before the popular restaurants. It can get overcrowded on special events such as chinese new year - so plan your visit ahead. Restaurants are plentiful but it can be a hit and miss and prices vary. Check recent reviews before stepping in. Still, Chinatown in Soho offers a unique blend of culture, cuisine, and history for everyone and it is popular for good reasons.

Chinatown London A stroll through Chinatown is a feast for the senses: glowing lanterns, the smell of spices and a variety of culinary offerings. However, it can get very crowded at peak times, which can put a damper on the experience. The steamed buns are fluffy and tasty, the pork bun is particularly recommended. The ambience is reminiscent of a traditional Hong Kong tea house. However, the portions could be a bit larger for the price. The Korean corn dogs are a highlight, especially the version with potatoes and mozzarella. The selection of street food is diverse and delicious. However, there are only limited seating options, which limits enjoyment on site. Chinatown offers a rich selection of culinary experiences. Both the Bun House and Bunsik are worth a visit, despite minor restrictions. For street food lovers and fans of Asian cuisine, a visit to this area of London is highly recommended. The Peking duck is particularly recommended. It was really great.

Chinatown has a vibrant and colorful atmosphere, with red lanterns decorating the streets and several traditional Chinese-style portals. The variety of Asian restaurants is incredible — there’s Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai food… all very tasty. It’s definitely worth trying the roast duck at Four Seasons or having a bubble tea at Happy Lemon. It’s very close to Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus, so it’s easy to include on your walking itinerary. At night, the lights and the hustle and bustle make the place even more special. During Chinese New Year, the neighborhood turns into a party with dragon dances, parades and lots of music. It can get a little crowded, but that just shows how much the place is loved. Highly recommended for those who want to eat well and discover a little piece of Asia in London!
