Chinatown in City of London, Westminster

Not far from Piccadilly Circus in the Soho district is the Chinese district of Chinatown. Definitely take a stroll down Gerrard Street. On this market street you can experience Chinese culture up close. Lots of colorful shops with Chinese restaurants and stalls. You feel like you're in a different culture.

Really beautiful place especially for people who are on the look out for tasty Chinese food.The restaurants are on the pricier end but they have a wonderful selection if Chinese food. I suggest trying bao buns and traditional fish pancakes.

This restaurant in the heart of China Town , Central London, on Sunday very busy, food was great, beef chow-min, staff were rushing around. Customer care politeness can improve, will go there again.

China Town, vibrant and busy, if you get behind the green door to the up stairs secret bar. Well, it's well worth finding a relaxing spot, and a cocktail or 2.

It's an abuse or false advertising for the restaurant to use Shanghai in its name as there is nothing Shanghai in the restaurant, not the traditional dishes for sure. I would say it's a tourist trap in that sense.

Went here just for a stroll, we went into a lot of the bakeries and tried some sweet treats. The black bean bakery stuff is a must try ☺️☺️ overall good place go to if you don’t know where to eat and stuff. Also try the rambutan fruits from the orential markets 😊😊

We tasted Mongo Fried Chicken and Good Friend chicken (halal) both these chicken were juicy and delicious. Overall Chinatown and food is must visit.

Absolutely brilliant! Largely consisting of Asian food places and stores/bakeries this is brilliant if you want to taste real Chinese food. My son said it felt like he wasn't in London. Also very pretty with all the lanterns!

A great place, if you want to eat well there are 2 buffet restaurants but in one of them the price is 15 pounds and they only accept cash and the other costs 13.95 and accept card, both have a lot of customers and the food tastes good.

Historic Chinese district of London a few steps from Piccadilly Circus, truly beautiful, colorful and full of life. It is undoubtedly worth a visit especially in the evening where the atmosphere reaches its maximum. Excellent for a quick snack if you are passing through, perhaps at Bun House, or while sitting down at Beijing Dumpling.

Pretty cool place to visit if you've not been before, tonnes of Chinese restaurants, all pretty standard but classic and also don't expect it to be cheap, but worth it for an afternoon.

It was raining a bit so it felt a little more miserable than usual. There are still too many people for such a small street and there is a smell of rubbish in the streets. It also does not help that there are so many delivery riders hanging around looking so shabby which makes the whole place look shabby as well.

I had such an amazing time visiting Chinatown! The streets were filled with colorful lanterns, lively shops, and the aroma of authentic Chinese food wafting through the air. Every corner seemed to have something unique, from herbal medicine stores to dumpling stalls. The food was absolutely incredible some of the best dim sum and bubble tea I’ve ever had!

As a guest I initially felt good. Be careful to choose the right place to eat. Some shops were very dirty, i.e. the tables were stuck with food. They were not cleaned well. Overall, it's worth going.
