A very large-scale Chinatown. I must go here every time I come to the UK. There are a lot of Chinese food here, food from all over China, and Hong Kong-style barbecue. The dim sum is really good.

A very atmospheric place in London. These are just a dozen or so streets, but with a very different atmosphere than the rest of the city. There are many restaurants here, mainly Chinese, but also from other parts of distant Asia. You can eat well here, and the fact that the places are good is proven by the queues of people waiting for a table. In the evening, lanterns light up the streets. The Chinese gate leads into Chinatown, located right next to the LEGO and M&M's stores. We definitely recommend it.

Staying in London for more than ten days! This is a very lively place where Chinese people in Europe gather! Most of them are restaurants. To be honest, the cooking here has greatly deteriorated! I tried more than a dozen restaurants and all were disappointing, but they were better than those in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia! Don't have high expectations! Compared to the West Coast of the United States and Canada, even every small store is satisfactory (but not including the East Coast). Many streets here form Chinatown~ you will feel a familiar sense of warmth while strolling along! Travel sharing: You can’t buy local phone cards here! If you buy it in Hong Kong and there is no network, you must turn it off and on again to access the network!

Home from home :) I love the atmosphere here and being able to feel for a few minutes that I’m back in Hong Kong. Can get some of my favourite snacks in the shops and LOVE the New Loon Fung for dim sum. My first stop after getting off the train! Lots of veggie and vegan friendly options and frequented by a lot of Chinese diners ( so it must be good!!) Also love Old Town 97 ( Eggplant dish!) Chinese New Year time is always fun as the lanterns get changed and everything spruced up. There’s a great foot massage place called Step In down Rupert Court which does the best one I’ve had since leaving Hong Kong.

Also the weather was perfect for a change! I also walked down to Trafalgar Square, looking beautiful in the sunshine. Lots of visitors, I can see why people fly in from all over the world to London.

Chinatown London. Simply put, little China in Europe. If you can't afford to travel to Beijing or another major Chinese city, you can get a taste of the Asian atmosphere in London. Chinese, Japanese, Thai restaurants and many more with various flavors of dishes. Shops and "pharmacies" where only an Asian can read the names of products or medicines. For me personally, the hit were the restaurants, or rather eateries, where for 15 pounds per person, you can eat for an hour everything prepared by Chinese chefs. And I liked the original Chinese beer. It really is great. In London, but not in Chinatown, you can find such eateries even cheaper per hour of eating (I found such a place). I recommend. For people who think that traveling to London is expensive. If you plan well and wait for the right moment to buy tickets, you can fly with a family of 2+2 and return for PLN 600 to attractions such as large museums, you can book free entries. And let me tell you that a 24-hour or weekend trip with the family can cost from PLN 1,000 to PLN 1,500 with food!!!! It's a pity not to go.

I love this place. Here you can find Asian shops with groceries and a lot of stuff you can't easily find elsewhere. Today my friend even found a frozen durian in one of the shops. Beverages in those shops are my favourite. I like the decorations. They even celebrate the Lunar New Year 🎊 This place looks amazing both during the day and at night. And how many great restaurants, boba tea spots, as I mentioned earlier, shops, etc. It is located in central London and is a must visit for a tourist. Be careful with your possessions as in every corner of Greater London, since it's a common place for pickpockets and people stealing phones right from your hand on the street.

An interesting place with a unique atmosphere. A substitute for Asia in central London. It is also worth walking to Chinatown in the evening. Lit, glowing lanterns hanging on the streets create an atmosphere. In this part of London you can eat a good lunch typical of Asian cuisine at a relatively low price. You can also buy various food products and cosmetics from China. When in London, you must visit this place 😀.

London Chinatown is a vibrant and dynamic hub filled with cultural charm, offering an authentic taste of East Asia in the heart of the city. Located in the bustling West End, it’s a haven for food lovers, with its colorful streets lined with restaurants serving everything from traditional dim sum to hand-pulled noodles and bubble tea. The area is beautifully decorated with red lanterns and ornate arches, creating a festive atmosphere year-round, especially during Chinese New Year celebrations, which are some of the largest outside Asia. Beyond its culinary appeal, Chinatown also boasts unique shops selling East Asian ingredients, gifts, and herbal medicines, making it a great destination for both locals and tourists seeking a slice of authentic culture. It’s a place where history, community, and modern city life converge, offering a lively and welcoming space to explore and enjoy.

Date of visit: 10th of February, 2025 Best Fish&Chips in London! The price is reasonable, especially after you see the size of the fish. I think I found a fine restaurant. It's the best fish & chips I've had in London. The portion size is large, so I think people who usually eat small portions could share it with three people (of course, you should ask politely if you can order it that way). I liked it even more because it was a quiet neighborhood and the interior of the restaurant had a calm atmosphere.
