Ordered £28s worth of food. Delivery was quick and the driver nice. The food was passable but a bit bland though the quantity more than ample. The reason for only 3 stars is that two courses of food delivered were not what was ordered: chicken instead of beef, and beef instead of chicken. I did not bother to complain as many other reviews report the person on the other end of the phone is rude. Will probably order again despite this.

Worst place ever ordered 5 days ago and still got the runs, do not go to this place unless you want cheap meat that tastes like its still alive

They have got a new chef who has brought a real taste of china it was really chinesey like I was sat in a real Chinese resterant in China really impressed its my only go too chinese

I get food from here regularly but live close by so I just walk over and order in the shop. I can't comment on how good their delivery drivers are. I pretty much always order the same thing, squid and king prawn fried rice, which is a bit of a weird order I know but it's always great. Squid can be really easy to get wrong but from here it's always got a good texture to it and doesn't feel rubbery. The prawns are always cooked nicely as well. I often get prawn toast and crispy seaweed with it and these dishes are also consistently fantastic each time. The lady behind the counter doesn't seem particularly friendly but she's very efficient and seems to be focused on getting the orders through, which is fair, they seem to be pretty busy.

Parents used here for a long time. For some reason their delivery driver got it wrong tonight and tried to deliver to a different address. Of course the wrong people reused to pay and told them to return the food. They have now struck off my parents address! My parents have used this place for a long time without an issue. Tried to resolve politely to only be told they won’t deliver to them again. Quite remarkable how they treat long standing customers. Shameful behaviour for putting the phone down on long standing customers instead of actually listening and helping to resolve. They don’t deserve custom.

Best Chinese around as far as I'm concerned, portions are enough for 2.. spare ribs are amazing x6 in a portion and free prawn crackers over £15 orders.. lady serving is very polite, what more can you ask for.. any negative reviews are probably someone associated with a rival takeaway

This rating is based only on the food I had (chicken wings, chicken balls ,ribs and chips) really lousy. It's the first time I've been and the last. Frozen chicken ☹the chips tasted ok. I usually go to Lee's house in deepcar where it tastes fresh and lovely. Not old and leathery. Sorry china wok , your food was lousy.

Ordered chips house special curry egg fried rice all tastes the same not very nice at all so ignorant on fone not ordering anything from here again

This Chinese is good value for money, but you have to know what to choose from the menu. Some of the dishes are not so good. My advice is to try it

Our local Chinese is shut on Tuesdays so decided to try this one, It was a great choice everything I ordered for me and my partner was better than the one I usually use. So from now on this is my new choice.

Ordered from the China wok last night ,it was very fresh,very tasty, and a great price, very friendly delivery guy,. Tried the salt and pepper chips after reading a review to do so,&they didn't disappoint. Will definitely order again.

Absolutely the best Chinese I've been to. The shop looks tired and in need of some TLC, but the food is amazing. If like me your not interested in the packaging but more of what's inside, then this is the place to go. I'm happy my money goes into the food not into how the place looks. Their food hygiene rating is 4, but be fair, how well would your kitchen rate on a food hygiene visit? For me it's 5*****

Best chinese I've ever had! Nothing beats it! The salt and pepper seasoning there is so favourable and has a good spice to it. Nothing too crispy or greasy either.

Everything cold, Prawn Toast awful when warmed up. Spare Ribs rubbish hot or cold, just bones

Just ordered a special chowmain and it was shockingly dreadful and there is hardly any meat in it and it just disappointed to me because I love chowmain but no king prawns and I can't see anything special about it

Had a lovely house special chow mein tonight,ive also tried spring rolls which are huge and chicken balls are tasty too .

Disappointed prices gone up portions reduced I have used them for years on and off but looking elsewhere now shame realy good food

My meal came with boiled rice & when i got home had to make my one rice as there's was more like rice pudding.

Shocking food! Rice and chips tasted like they had been warmed up! Rang up to complain and the woman on the phone was very rude. Will not be ordering from these again. Not the first time I have had a problem with them! Definitely the Last.

Absolutely shocking, rang them literally 22 times and the call went through at least 10 times and they never picked up, won't be calling again, shite customer service

I ordered food from here, quick delivery, but special fried rice had slices of chicken laid on top, it looked strange and tasted strange was a bit unsure if it was chicken, disappointed through it away.

I was ordering my food, they changed the person who I was speaking to about 4 times, then didn't let me finish making my order and asked when I wanted it delivering to so by that time I was really angry and to top it off; they put the phone down on me. Not good when I'm trying to order for a full party of 6 kids.

The waiting area looks a little tired but the staff are friendly, food is good and always piping hot (which is way more important for me)
