Food not very good and expensive

Nice food, quick delivery but slightly expensive

Polite and fast service but all food was tastless and over cooked

Make me and my partner ill and my partner is19 weeks pregnant

Orderd chow mein, curry sauce, half rice half chips and salt and pepper chips. It was nearly cold rice was old and the chow mein meat was off. It tasted discussing. A few hours later my daughter and myself had upset stomachs. What a waste of money. I will never order there again and would advise no one else does either!!

Ordered last night and yuk, ordered sweet and sour chicken and the sweet and sour sauce smelt of strong vinegar, it stunk the room out, thankyou but no thankyou

Sadly, this has gone downhill in terms of food quality. This used to be one of the best Chinese takeaways in town but it seems to be under new ownership and they are cutting corners with food quality sadly. The ordering process has become more complicated now they have removed themselves from JustEat as well. Also cash only! All that being said, the staff I spoke to were very friendly and the covid procedures that were in place were adequate. Great shame as this used to be excellent!

NO NOT USE!!! Over hour and half for delivery, salt and pepper chips taste like they were yesterday's, chicken?? Don't even know if it was!! Crispy shredded beef was soggy and chewy not crispy. Chicken balls Luke warm and soggy sweet and sour sauce was like water and the curry sauce wasn't great. Oh yeah did I mention non of it was hot just slightly warm!! Doesn't even warrant the one star

I ordered sweet and sour chicken balls with fried rice. The service was okay, the chicken balls and the rice were okay. Sadly the sauce looked like pink coloured water and had no taste whatsoever. It was expensive compared with other local restaurants and the portions were smaller. I shall not be buying from here again.

Food was okay, order was almost correct. Ordered a chicken Hong-Kong style sweet an sour but it was covered in batter, which we normally order an it has never come in batter so a little bit disappointed.

Delicious food and very fast delivery, I highly recommend it.

The worst Chinese we have ever had- absolutely shocking! Special Chow mien was tasteless, the chicken was freezing cold - raw like 🤮 prawns was as bad. The salt n pepper chips have never seen any salt & peppers , was Anemic , the curry was lumpy on the top and as runny as diarrhoea underneath. Prawn crackers was stale . What a Waste of money as went in the bin!!!

If I could give it a 0 star rating I would, spent between £25-£30 and it turned up raw! My friends pregnant and was about to start eating when I noticed! And the kids had already started eating! The takeaway did not seem to care about this at all when we called the takeaway back they refused to even look at any pictures of the food that was raw and they said they’d cooked it 3 times and it was a special batter. When I rang back again to say the other dish was raw too, they refused to give a refund and then stopped answering the phone after I mentioned my friend was pregnant! Still won’t pick up, won’t be recommending and will not be ordering again! Complete waste of money.

Very bad, my order never came. The restaurant did not answer one of my calls, just waste of time and money.

Ordered food at 7:30pm. It's now 10pm rang them up no answer. My order was nearly £30, don't order from here! Going up to see what is wrong with my order

If there was a 0 star option this place would get it for service . Placed a 30 pound order at 8pm to be told delivery would be 9.10 pm . After a handful of phone calls which have not been answered and removal of their shop from just eat my partner has had to drive to the Chinese to see what is going on.The time is now almost 10pm. My advice ...if you want to eat at a normal hour place order 3hours before..

My food came 2hr 45 minutes late and the chips was hard rest off food was cold

I ordered food last night as a new customer and placed my order, 3 items were missing!! The prawn toast was was solid and must of been cooked a day before, it was all cold and i rang to complain and they didn’t say sorry! Didn’t tell me why the food was missing or did they even try and make it right? Will not be recommending china town to any of my family or friends... worse Chinese in Scunthorpe

New to China Town and I have got to say I am impressed with the food and the service, the food was earlier than the time set on just eat, all the food was hot and very nice and the delivery driver delivered the food to the doorstep knocked and went back to his car until I retrieved the food sticking to the 2mtr rule. I will be returning

Nice friendly staff but the food quality was very poor.

Ordered a chicken with mushroom dish. Got a chicken noodles😖 without mushroom. Ordered a beef with chilli. Got again a noodles 🤢beef without chilli. 2x egg fried rice been ordered but I got only one plus a portion of chips. WHY can't I get the food I paid for?

Best Chinese in town. Recently switched to china town as portions and food are amazing. Really recommend.

Paid £1.50 extra for salt and chilli chips that were smaller than a regular chips, stale and obviously refried and had next to none chilli/onion etc. These are the favourite part of my meal so disappointed.

Worked late so wanted something quick for tea. Fancied a chicken curry so decided to pop into china town as on way home. Ordered my curry and chips and didnt have to wait long. I dont think the quick cooking time could be responsible for the worst curry ive ever had from a chinese takeaway. Ive heard of pubs serving watered down beer but never had a watered down curry! The sauce was pale and almost translucent and just about tasted of curry. Ive only visited this takeaway once before over a year ago needless to say i wont be visiting again. Gave 1 star due to chips were ok might have given 2 if a complementary bag of prawn crackers were provided as i spent over £12

Food adequate. Delivery not so good. My nearest delivery takeaway, but food not always hot when it arrives. Takes some time to deliver.

Very poor, our usual chinese takaway was closed 😞. On holiday or somthing..... So was discussing with guys at work which one to try, to which a couple said 'definatly not Brumby corner'. Unfortunatly I did not pass this infomation on to the mrs at home making the order. Decided to give it the benifit of the doubt though....Wish I hadnt. Food had been ordered at twenty past 9 and did not arrive untill quater to 11. Cold chips and terribly greasy food that needed the micowave before attempting to eat. Good job we were starting to lose our appetites by the time the food arrived so wasnt too dissapointed about binning most of it.
