Lovely food, prices are right and the service is bang on.

Heard mixed reviews but can say my first meal was great. Mixed chicken and Pork noodles (dry), chicken noodle soup and s&p chips were great. Cash only on collection fyi

Ordered three dishes this evening, please don’t order the king prawns if you actuallly want to see many!!! Ordered king prawns I oyster sauce , very tasty but 4/5 prawns and not large he , plus the fact that you have to pay extra for chips!!! Go elsewhere, these people are not giving value for me bey. Will stick to Empire in Thackley in future ,

This is our go-to Chinese take-away now for a few years. Thank you for great service and lovely food. We are fans of their chow mein and salt & pepper chicken.

The food was really nice and so tasty however I marked them down as I ordered chicken & cashew nuts and there was barely any cashews in it. Lots of other veg, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, carrots, spring onions and baby corn, all of which I enjoyed but I really expect cashews in a cashew dish.

The chicken balls here are out of this world😋. We really enjoyed our recent takeaway from this restaurant...from walking in and ordering to receiving our order it only took around 15 minutes. The Chicken balls, chips and sweet and sour sauce was the best I have had in a long time. The customer service was also excellent, the young girl who took our order was very good at her job and also polite. Highly recommend this Chinese takeaway!

Excellent takeaway. Chicken & mushroom and Special Fried Rice - both excellent.

We have used China Red for all our Chinese orders for some time now and we have never been let down. We usually order special fried rice and special chow mein, with occasional chicken fried rice and spring rolls. We ordered Special Kung Po tonight too, and it was excellent. The portion sizes and quality are good, and the prices are reasonable.

Food is lovely + the Curry Sauce is amazing 🏆

My chicken balls in sweet & sour was great but the 3 chicken curry’s were terrible it was like wallpaper paste

They delivered kindly when I asked for the special morbius meal. It was morbtastic! I have aids now tho

Very poor takeaway. We had the honey roast pork which tasted like it was a week old. Very very dry and rubbery, no sauce with the dish at all. The chicken and cashew nuts, (I use the term "cashew nuts" lightly, as there was 7 halves (not even full nuts!!) on the top of the dish), was very poor too, and the free bag of mini spring rolls was supposed to have 10 in, and there was only 8!! Will definitely never go back, and I do not recommend that you waste your money at this takeaway, go somewhere else.

Absolutely disgusted , second time found hairs in food. Spoke to woman on phone who said she would give me partial refund . And wanted the good back to look at the hair to prove it was from there ! It was a long black hair ! (I’m blonde) I kept the food that kids wouldn’t eat because they felt sick at the thought of it . And was going to drop it off but honestly couldn’t be arsed with the denial so threw it in the bin and just won’t go again !! Disgusting hygiene and customer service !!!

Disgusting food. Curry sauce tasted like purfume bbq ribs looked like they was a year old. Salt and pepper chips tasted like they was cooked in oil that's been left for a long time. I only had a few mouthfuls of what I got and the next day I've had nowt but stomach pain also haven't been able to get of the toilet. I rang the place to tell them about the food when I ordered and they acted stupid like they didn't know what I was on about. I will not be ordering from here again. And good luck to you if you do it is vile.

Speacial curry fried rice prawn crackers tasted awful didnt eat much of it was being sick for hours after it rung and told them with we never had complaints since open . DONT NOT ORDER IT WAS AWFUL

Ok starters ,mix appetizers absolutely vile special curry and fried rice ,what a waste of money , don't bother if your staying at the ibis

App didn't work properly and we nearly ended up being charged twice (once on app then in cash). Granted this was a mis communication so let it slide. But the sweet and sour chicken was all sugar and the curry was very salty. Salt and pepper ribs were ok I guess. I wouldn't go back.

Have had a few meals but it's a bit hit and miss. Not a patch on the one up Saltaire Road, but that's just my opinion! You might think otherwise, so try them out and make your own mind up.

Huge portion, great tasting food.

Placed an order and when it arrived it was missing the chicken sweetcorn soup. I phoned up and explained only for the lady to call me a liar!! She said the kitchen said they sent it. I assured her there is no soup in the bag and as I've paid ide like one sending. They refused and just called me a liar no apology no offer to rectify. Disgusting customer service. And the food we did get was ok but not the best around by far. And with staff that rude I wouldn't bother.

Used to get takeaway from here alot before I moved away. Best Chinese I've come accross in West Yorkshire! Food, staff and Prices all great. Recommended.

terrible service and not fresh, been here 3 to 4 times , the guy who takes orders is arrogant and rude, food used to be good but the quality has gone down, I am pretty sure they are not fresh , the meat is not cooked properly

Please bring back the Chun Chun freshly cooked great taste. I Will never try again flavour less bland and boring 🙄🙄 Bring back real Chef's 😊😊

Great food. The Rainbow was shut, the Imperial closed at 9.30pm and we needed a takeaway to celebrate moving house! China Red was delivering til 11pm. Delivered 10 min earlier than advised. Never had a delivery guy rock up and a 3 piece suit before. Outstanding service! Prawn toast was thick and crispy, not fatty, Salt and pepper ribs were just as we like them, dry outside, juicy inside and tasty. Crispy duck was perfect. Kung po beef was nice and chewy, not too hot, chicken in OK sauce was more than OK. Free mini spring rolls. All in all a great dinning experience with family and we have dumped the 2 ex fav takeaways, as this was much better. Well done. X

Rang asking if their curry sauce and chips were gluten free. They had no idea what I was asking. They asked if I was enquiring about their fridge(??!). The menu that was posted through my door states to enquire before ordering if you have allergies. I won't be ordering from here.

Excellent service and the quality of the food is outstanding.

Best chinese in shipley always polite and the food consistency is good always beautiful it is pricy but you pay for what you get so i dont mind paying abit extra highly recommend.

Was so disappointing, the salt and pepper chicken was hard, The chips had been recooked in old oil and weren't fresh. The BBQ spare ribs in sauce tasted like nothing and it was pretty pricey, I'll try another place in future
