Asda Keighley Superstore in Bradford

I have a grievance regarding a member of the staff at the Asda store. She was quite impolite and unprofessional. I didn't realise that I couldn't leave by the door because the gates were open when I went through it to get to the refunds desk. In a really improper tone and manner, this staff member had said, "You can't exit that way but you already have so just leave now." This is incredibly unprofessional towards a client. Despite having visited this supermarket for years, I won't be going back! Didn’t quite get the name of the staff something along the lines of soha , but a brief description would be , asian , quite tall ,glasses and she was behind the refund and exchange counter wearing a scan and go jumper.

Staff here-fore are specialized. The choice is far and too beyonds!

Great store, lots of products at good prices.

As an Asda store its ok as far as it goes, but I was immediately put off by the accumulation of human (?) hair around one of the wheels of the shopping trolley, and on closer inspection, not just one trolley had this feature... It was a kind of mousey brown hair with grey streaks, quite thick, and consequently this marred my shopping experience, as I pushed the trolley around, I couldn’t help thinking how and why the hair was there. Was it human hair or had someone run over a flattened Yorkshire terrier? My mind was racing as I arrived at the veg aisle and completely forgot the cucumber.

Friend gave me a voucher, not been for a long time. Shop looked as if it had been ransacked. I got one bag of shopping, I was shocked how much it came to, just for basic items. Never again, I'm back to aldi and lidil. Even m&s cheaper cheaper.

There is a lot of theft there, the toilets are not cleaned at all, the hygiene is a disaster, they should check it,

Good customer service ok on prices but could be cheaper. Specially branded products.

Most chaotic ASDA I've ever been to. Terrible store layout. Crowded. Poor product variety. Stock all over the place, boxes left in isles and on the shelves blocking products. A mess.

Worst staff ever. So slow, literally don't care if you are waiting, just keep on chatting. Incredible slow at the tills. Maybe spend some time looking at good staff because most of them should not be working in a customer service environment

General retail store but most often disorganised obviously by customers but they’re never rearranged or restocked.

Mega busy not enough staff. Toilets were disgusting sanitary bins over flowing tissue and urine all over the floor

I have been going here for years, always liked the selection and has good parking. Will not be going back after tonight. They have moved things around so not only did it take ages to get round, after queuing for the only till open ( about 15 of us in the queue), they closed it and we were told to use self check out. Two trolleys ( I had my mother with me who can't work self check out) , even one doesn't fit and there's not enough room to load and bag that much. After queuing again we tried two attempts to scan one item, both red lights and made us start again (removing items, bags etc) . I asked if they would please put a till on as it was proving a nightmare. The very nice checkout lady told us that management have cut hours so you have to scan it yourself, only 1 person across check out and customer service, at 6pm... after a full day at work in 26c heat, forget that! A basket maybe but 2 trolleys no.

1930hrs and once again no staff on the tills. Walked straight back out again.

Avoid - My experience boarding on Fraud - Again collect my order and find a completely different item in there. Staff were utterly useless, not a care in the world.

Apart from experiencing staff gossiping down every other isle and their picking trollies blocking other isles the shelves are generally badly stacked with incorrect product next to their pricing (so double check) I’ve just checked my till receipt and found 2 items that were advertised to be on special offer have been charged at full. Their gluten free range was very poor also. Not a great advert for one of the big four!

So yes grab pay and pack and go with my trolley then my Own Taxi😏😂😗❤️.

You know it's a good store when they sell condoms in the toilets. Classy.

Very helpful staff. Helped us find chocolate flake bars for poorly mum in terminal decline. Such help was priceless when we called yesterday. We also bought a nice 20 cm own brand non stick sauce pan with a 15 year guarantee. Petrol and diesel at nearby ASDA filling station is amongst lowest priced fuel in area. Nice shoppers cafe for small meals upstairs.

Surely it's illegal not to show prices? The place looks like it's spent half an hour in a tumble dryer,everything tipped everywhere and shelf labels bear no resemblance to what may or may not be on the shelf! Third world...

self serve check out u/s other check outs great if you can find one open before 9am if you ask to get one open they look daggers at you

Very poor ignorance staff at self service squint eyed young Asian lady who works on customer service side calling me insults to her colleagues while I asked for assistance.

Fantastic love a browse round asda.

The expansion of the self serve checkouts has severely degraded the Customer Service at this store, however there are still a couple of staff who seem to care. I called in to pick up Spider-Man 2 on PS5 and it wasn't even on the shelf (this was at about 10.30 and the store had been open for Hours), the Supervisor was literally falling over herself to help me unlike the rest of the Team.

A good selection of food items.and no food items.disabled parking and parent and child parking.

Big carpark, petrol station, just off main road. Big store with pharmacy, bakery, small cafe, plenty of clothes.

Ordered a microwave / kettle to collect that was advertised as 'ready for collection' on Sunday 24th after 1PM. Original order was placed on Sep 19th. Went down to the store after work on the 24th at 5pm, no items were there. The server notified me that sometimes the delivery comes later that evening and I should get a text. It is now Wednesday the 27th, no text or email still and I am on currently on hold for 20+ mins to try and get through to the customer service department. Poor communication and lack of service.

Asda delivery is terrible you pay packing and delivery they get it wrong regularly don’t know why it’s not difficult to pack a trolley delivery drivers are first class as for the packers absolutely rubbish 😡

It's a supermarket. Staff are always polite.

Went to self serve , paid but did not pick receipt up that fell on floor, all 3 staff were stood in a group chatting , I went out of main doors towards where cash machines are and one of the group of three (the male) grabbed my arm and said that I had not paid for my items , so i took him back to the self serve i paid on and low and behold my receipt was on the floor, so i said if you did the job you were getting paid for instead of chatting you would have noticed that I had paid. No apology, what a surprise.

Massive store. Has a very large 'Home Range' available and clothes section. Pharmacy located inside the store too. Lots of parking and also the store is adjacent to a petrol station that is 'pay at the pump' so this is handy and time saving.

You just can't beat a large ASDA store, they may not have everything you want due to supply chain issues, but they try their best to have good stocks.

Typical of the Brand but as Friday afternoons are traditionally busy there's were lots of items missing from the shelves and chillers / freezers.

Just popped into asda keighley and witnessed two workers canoodling, hugging and fondling around on their phones made me feel extremely uncomfortable, there were also a few common items such as olives and garlic they did not stock very disappointed in my trip there will not be returning

Asda rewards what a joke when you can't get into your account and finally do all the money in your rewards have all been taken of you

Mouldy vegetables out that were dripping because they were so far off! Chicken and sausages out of date on the shelves!? Also a really rude member of staff at the scan as you go service. Made me feel very uncomfortable when shopping in store. Everything in store (fresh) had really short dates. Not worth shopping here again.

Huge superstore been couple of times. Good choices. I live in Leeds so I went here when I went to Keighley on a day trip.

Like Mother Hubbard's cupboard, so many empty shelves. I've only got about half of what was on my list, so I'm going to have to go to another supermarket now. This was a trial shop, after getting a 10pc discount card through work, and the outcome is... I won't waste my time and petrol coming back!

Absolute Brilliant Service from Don Marshall (hope I spelt his name correct) knows what he’s doing and speaks with nothing but respect to everyone. Even in rush hours he’s able to stay calm and collective.

What is the point of a customer service desk that isn’t open the same hours as the store?

Just had a magnificent hot chocolate and a lovely ham and cheese Italian flatbread, full marks to Asda’s cafe in Keighley!

Ordered a delivery and recieved someone elses order, and they still took my money. Can't reach anyone, thievs. This happened before when I ordered a pack of items, and they sent me a cheaper version but charged me for the more expensive item. You either have sucmbags working for you or total goinks that would make lomotomised people high achievers.

Terrible service for online orders!! Made my first online order and it was due to be sent out from the Keighley store. Waited up until 1am for a 9pm order that said it was “running late”. Store closed, customer service closed, so no one to speak to and had to give up on it and go to bed. The next day STILL had no communication whatsoever, called customer service to learn that the driver had “broken down” but no one bothered to call, text, email or update the order status so I was kept up all night for an order that would never arrive but still said “on the way”. Atrocious service and communication and will never make the mistake of using their online delivery service again!

Fantastic customer service from a lovely lady called Naz, rang with a problem trying to find a helium balloon, and she went out of her way to sort it and source what we needed. Very pleased, please pass on my thanks to her. She's an asset to the store

Online I wouldn't recommend home delivery. My delivery slot ended at 9pm, they turned up nearly 40 mins later. They often don't answer the phone in my experience with customer services which you end up having to call after refund issues. I never received an apology but did get suggestion that I can shop elsewhere. In addition to this, I often didn't receive items on click and collect as they were allegedly out of stock, onIy to go into the store a few mins later and finding shelves full of these items. Then further inconvenienced after having to wait another 30 mins for tills to open on a Sunday. There are 4 supermarkets in this area within walking distance of each other and I now get my online shop from another, probably paying at most a couple of pounds more for a large shop (but some of those items aren't sold by Asda anyway)but haven't needed to call customer services once. In store There are some branded items that are cheaper at Asda so worth going in for these. But a bit annoying when staff talk to you like you are children lining up in a school dinner queue when you are at the self checkout, which I went to in the first place to avoid interaction with them. Then they start teaching you how to use self checkout if something goes wrong when all you really want is for them to just scan it through. I think they get me mixed up for a trainee employee at times.

just now NEW I visited the keighley asda store and my step son wanted the new prime drink . It's been out of stock as soon as delivery as come in .ts Been so popular. 3rd time we went into the store been out of stock and and your work colleague said come in tomorrow and I will save you one .we went the next day And he passed the drink to my step son and said don't worry I paid for it for you Hassan went the extra mile & was polite helpful keep up the good work hassan

A fantastic shop.Large car park.but the entrance of the car park is not nice. Very big shop.So definitely huge item.Very convenient.

Due to this new demand for Prime drinks, I waited outside the store at 9am today (Sunday) not realising it opened at 11am. Steadily the queue grew as there was others who wanted to purchase this drink called Prime. We all queued patiently outside one of the entrances until the security guard appeared. Imagine my disgust, when strangely, he opened the other door where nobody was waiting, thus causing people at the back of the queue to run round and help themselves to the limited amount of Prime drink. When we remonstrated with the person who I assumed was the store manager, we were told he was afraid to open the door we were queuing at due to him not being able to control the crowd. What a load of tosh, we were standing in an orderly manner. The upshot is that kids who'd queued for a couple of hours didn't get their drink and were visibly distraught.

This branch is one of the larger supermarkets in the town, certainly with more choice than Aldi and such. It has a variety of choice, including providing for requirements such as gluten-free and vegetarian. However, the café is run-of-the-mill.

On site parking, easily accessible, the owners son who works there is extremely friendly and sorted us out within minutes

I shopped at Asda today with my partner. We came to collect a few items and return a T-shirt. Nothing out of the ordinary. Me and my partner was constantly stared at by one of your security colleagues, not just a casual glance as expect but a very deep creepy intimidating stare. I tried to bring light to the situation and gave a him a thumbs up to the security colleague however he still continued to stare me out. This was even witnessed by the lovely lady behind the customer service desk who agreed that he was acting creepy. I used to work for the security company who supplied guards and electronic security solutions for Asda and this is going against all SOPs. Yes, deter but not intimidate and wearing your own security tac vest is not in line with Asda’s policy looking very paramilitary like police. Upon exiting the store he still was fixed on me and alongside shadow boxing with another security colleague. I feel this was very unprofessional and I will be bringing this to the attention of Asda House and your security area mananger.

It's always a great shop at ASDA Keighley. By far Keighley's best supermarket. It has everything you need and prices are fantastic. They also have key cutting service as well as parcel collection ect. I shop here every week and will continue for as long as I live in Keighley.

Absolute joke of a store. Late and customer service was a disgrace. The entire charade brought me out in a bad case of sugma

What an awful visit. Tuesday 20th September. 11:39am. Why have only 2 checkouts open? The ques where down the length of the isles and in to the centre isle. You will have lost sale as people couldn't get to the shelves due to the ques. Mind you the selves were only half full. Won't be going again.

Staff decided not to give me the item I ordered online and just gave me the rest of my order. No attempt to contact me to see if I wanted something else.

Been shopping here since 2009 steady decline in customer service expecially in last year, last visit the store cleanliness was bordering on a health hazard absolutely filthy especially floor's and old rotten stock where pallets are removed and replaced on shop floor. Special mention to the waste high freezer compartments which on closer inspection are indeed filthy and the whole lot need replacing Just not good enough when supposed to be clean because of covid, pretty disgusting really

I have ordered my weekly shop several times now and it comes from this store. There are always substitutions on my orders typical between 6 and 10 out of approx 70 to 90 items. Whenever I goto my local store (Shipley) I never have trouble getting any of these regular items regardless of when I go. I think this store is absolutely poorly ran and a disgrace and the orders are regularly not on time.

Typical large Asda with good ranges and plenty of parking

Incredibly inconsistent with produce but it's the only place I can get 2 items from my weekly shop (supposing they have them of course) so I have no choice but to come here. A lot of people who shop here are incredibly inconsiderate towards other shoppers by means of holding trolleys in the centre of the isles whilst they browse. All round a terrible experience for anyone with any amount of anxiety
