Completely ignored order notes so didn’t eat the food

Really enjoyed the food. Took about an hour to get it but understandable for a Friday night.

I was sent the wrong order, I asked for king prawn vermicelli (£12.99) and got satay chicken on skewer (£9.95) which I cannot eat :-(.

Good portion and tasty but the fried noodles I was expecting a thick egg noodles but it wasn’t

Rubbish food. Very thin rice that has no taste. Chicken slimy and not cut properly and begat lea not cooked in the dish.

Placed an order at 19.07 and it arrived at 20.55. I was told at 20.25 that it would be 3 minutes. When it arrived, it was cold and missing all the drinks that were ordered and charged for.

Always order our Chinese from here. Good portion sizes and good service. (First time out aromatic duck skin wasn’t crispy and duck a little over cooked ) still happy with my order.

I used to use this take away quite a bit years ago. Gave up on it because always the soup, or the sauce, something inevitably leaked or the bottle of coke wasn't in the order although I paid for it. Decided to give it another go tonight, nothings changed for a small amount of care the food would have been nice but it seemed like it was thrown into the bag. Soup leaked into the sweet & sour chicken balls which were packed upside down so escaped their packaging & were soaking. Awful never again!

Not brilliant, the thai element ordered was not edible.

Chow mein was very salty. Hardly any beef in the curry was just onions. Doughnuts forgotten for the second time which I can't get a refund. Not great.

In generally not bad. However the Thai chicken rice is not the traditional Thai rice dish with chicken but some regular fried rice with less vegetable and extra ketchup and syrup mixed in. Prawn foo yong is unevenly seasoned - a bit chunk of it is very salty. All the rest is fine.

It was edible. Wouldn’t order from again to be honest, one of the worst Chinese I’ve had in a long time. Nearly £60 spent to not enjoy the meal.

I ordered on just eat, I thought it was local to where I was staying but panicked when I thought it was many miles away. I rang restaurant to check, he said driver was on his way and they were very busy. Driver arrives a few minutes later. The food was piping hot and delicious, chicken was tender, Pathia stunning, chowmein truly yummy. This is one very happy customer. If I'm staying in the area again I will certainly order from China Magic without hesitation. Gold star guys.

szechuan chicken was so awful it tasted and smelled off, sauce was awful too and I couldn't eat it at all.

Although it was slightly late we were updated so it wasn't a problem. The food was very good.

Excellent food, lovely and hot when it arrived.

The food arrived on time and was very good quality. the only issue I had was that the restaurant missed an item but as soon as I called they were very apologetic and immediately dispatched a replacement. theis was delivered within 15 minutes. very good customer recovery. 👌 5*

4.5/10 had better not terrible but not good..

First order from here, primarily because of the 40% discount on Just Eat. It was o.k, but would I order again - probably not. We ordered - Sweet & Sour King Prawn Balls, they were o.k but the sauce was a little too sour but no major problem. Plain Chow Mein, again o.k but a little dry and the noodles were thread egg noodles not medium egg noodles....you may say, what's the difference....there is, believe me, in texture and moisture retention etc Chow Mein is generally Medium Noodles. Salt & Pepper Ribs, small portion, ribs weren't Pork but Lamb with no mention of this on the menu that I saw. They were once again...just o.k but would have preferred Pork. Crispy Shredded Beef, more batter than beef and just o.k again. On the whole, just o.k, a bit expensive for what you get as are most Chinese take-aways and restaurants, god knows why. Would I order again - probably not, unless the deal was very good but it was worth a try at 40% off the already inflated price considering what you get - 4 items £30 or close to it and that was with discount.

Food arrived super quick within 20mins. I think this driver is quick at getting to locations as the food was piping hot. Very pleased!!

Tasty food, arrived hot would definitely order again.

One of the best Chinese I've had. The Wonton soup was a highlight.

Don't know what is happening with these guys used to loved the food but now not so good ordered 2 plum sauce one was a mixture of sauce and oil ? and also ordered 7 veggie spring rolls but got 2 both with chicken in them ?

Food quality was so bad. Ended up throwing all the food in bin and reordering from a different place. Kindly try to improve on the quality of ingredients

lot of times ordered before but this time food was very disgusting spicy not possible eat Singapore vermicelli, I know it must to be spicy but not like this time you could not breath so so spicy. I asked for refund

CHINAMAGIC IN TWICKENHAM Ordered a meal from China magic in Twickenham at 7.57 delivery time was meant to be 8.57 then on the confirmation email it said they were running 10 minutes late so would be here at 21.04, it still was not here at 21 41 so called them and they said its just left here a minute ago, he tried to say that the chef had to take his lunch, what a load of rubbish, he then tried to tell us that we have only been waiting for 45 minutes since the order was put in. I told him that this happened on the delivery before last from them and I will not be ordering from them again. Then a couple of minutes later he called back to say that the ticket was read wrong and he has had to reprint it, so what's the truth either you have done the meal and sent it or you haven't and as for the chef going for lunch! I would advise people not to order from CHINAMAGIC if you are looking for a reliable company and as for the excuse the chef had to take his lunch we'll bully for him while they leave their paying customers to go hungry. The delivery guy has just turned up at 10.03pm I asked if he is employed by Chinamagic and he said yes and I said that we would not be ordering from them again and when I said what happened he agreed they had lied over the phone. This is a personal experience of Chinamagic and I refer to it as a personal experience of their delivery service but this customer they have lost now for good.

Delivery was fine. OK sauce was more like watered down gravy. Can't complain about the rest of the food.

Contrary to the bad reviews on here we've had an excellent experience. Very friendly delivery guy, deliciously excellent food. Since we ordered for the first time from here we ordered small, just crispy seaweed and King Prawn Chow Mein and we loved every bite. Generous portions so justifies the price really. I wish more people who had enjoyed their food from here would come forward for reviews. We are going to try other things off the menu soon.

This doesn’t taste like Chinese food at all. It is probably made by someone from India not China and it tastes like it. Cheap fat chicken, supermarkets sauces, supermarkets frozen vegetables. Chicken spring rolls have tiny amounts of chicken inside. Isn’t tasty actually. Very oily. Waste of money. Better Choose proper Chinese take away.

i asked not to provide no garnishes, vegetables or onion and they sent it anyway like spring onion and cucumber. i have severe allergies and lucky i smelt the onion otherwise i could of ended up in hospital and of died if an ambulance hadnt arrived quickly. also i ordered the food quite a while ago for 20.15 but was quite late. i have photo evidence of the things im highly allergic too.

Very average at best and hideously overpriced for the quality and portion size. The ‘homemade satay sauce’ comes as a tiny dipping sauce portion yet is charged at a ludicrous £4.40. Main meals are equally overpriced since there is no option for a full portion, instead you have to select rice or noodles as an ‘extra’ which comprises 60% of the container. Would not recommend compared to similar restaurants I’m afraid.

I’m not sure why this has so many bad reviews. I suspect it is because they are mostly old ones. The food I received was good. It was tasty and hot, I would say it’s a little overpriced. I ordered from here as my regular Chinese doesn’t deliver in the day time. Overall a good experience. Driver was polite and friendly

Original order was for 1345hrs. The time was changed by 15mins. Not a big deal but it gets them out of being reported as delivering late.

I ordered the rice pithia and it said on the menu that it came with chicken, duck shrimp and King prawn. but there was only chicken in the rice dish. it was tasty but lacked these ingredients.

First time I ordered from this shop. Arrived just under 10 minutes late, portion size of curry was a lot smaller than I normally get and ordered prawn crackers as a dish and got a small bag like they give you for free if you spend over a certain amount.

Tasty food as always. My teenage daughter is a very picky eater but whenever we order from this place, she always says "Yes" straight away. Food was delicious and the delivery guy was very cheerful and friendly. Excellent all around.

This is the worst Chinese i have ever ordered. There was another one equally worst Chinese i have had in Liverpool, and i thought it can never get worst, but China Magic managed to proof that there is always worst exampleout there. We ordered the beef with peppers and black beans, also egg fried rice.The beef was old, big pieces, a lot fat. The sauce was bad and the food overall blant and bad. The rice was jot as bad, but still bad. The best thing from this order was the Coca Cola and Fanta! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!

The worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten

Been coming here for 57 years, title of restaurant changed a few times but food has always good 👍, trust me.

The vegetarian spring rolls were amazing, I liked the lamb but the sauce was very oily. I would order again but a different dish next time.

We order China Magic quite abit. Its our go to place for Chinese. All food comes fresh and tasty EVERY SINGLE TIME. We get the food in good time, piping hot and there isn't one time that I don't clean and lick the plate clean. Best dishes are the special set menu for 1 with egg fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, soup and a drink. Crispy beef with chilli and honey ribs are excellent. They always send it with fortune cookies and free prawn crackers! I wish more people who enjoy their food would leave a review because it seems only the customers who complain are leaving it.

If I had been dinning in, I would have sent it straight back or refused to pay, unfortunately I had it delivered and obviously could not inspect the food until after the delivery driver had gone. The order consisted of the following, spare ribs: 2 totally dry ribs (literally cremated) with some sort of dried out mess at the bottom of the tray, seaweed: there was probably 5 spoonfuls in the dish and no crab dressing, satay chicken: almost as dry as the ribs sitting on some lettuce that looked liked it had been in the fridge for a couple of weeks, prawn toast: this was so greasy in was just unpleasant to eat and finally spring rolls: I took one bite, not only where they just soaked with fat but had absolutely no taste. I will never order from China Magic 'restaurant' again and would advise anyone else to look elsewhere – I paid just under £15 (inc delivery) after a 20% discount. I feel absolutely conned. Phoned the restaurant and the 'manager' said that shift 1 was not on at luchtime and shift 2 was doing the work . What sort of excuse is that. Then he added that he added that he had to sack the chef on shift 2.

I ordered the special chow mien and it was not as described. It had no duck in when it said it would. The delivery driver was nice but he did not read the delivery instructions - they never once have.

Staff very rude, shouting and swearing at me when I asked why I didn't get my fifth card for this order, to get the discount for the next order, which would be the 6th. The food was 30 minutes late and then it was wet through condensation so it had clearly been prepared and then left on the side for ages before delivering. The chicken and sweet corn soup was different to normal, wasn’t very nice and was cold. The prawn crackers were stale.

First time I got take out from here and food was very good and did not disappoint. I will definitely order again

SHAME!!! The most TERRIBLE order I have had as far as I remember. There has to be a lawxaga8nstcrestaurants with such total disregard for their food quailylty. Prawns burnt to tase unbearable, the egg fried rice atrocious! Still working hard to wash the gidawglful taste it left out of my mouth. SHANE!

I like the food at this restaurant, albeit a little pricey. However I won't be using again because the last 2 times, the won ton soup leaked entirely into the plastic carrying bag. The time before it was the sweet & sour sauce that leaked. I was prepared to give benefit of doubt first time. The issue seems to be because the delivery from this restaurant doesn't seem to be by car anymore. A pity because I used this takeaway for years. Sadly I felt on both occasions the delivery man knew what had happened to my food inside bag!

I had the worst spare ribs I have ever had they were nothing but bone and slimy fat. I was disappointed as they weren’t cheap and the food from here is usually good.

Order arrived exactly on time. The food was amazing. We ordered varied dishes and each was cooked to perfection. I wont be ordering Chinese from anywhere else for the foreseeable future. 5 star quality. Even my fussy kids loved every dish which speaks volumes. A very happy well-fed household tonight with praise from my Wife. Thank you.

Food was delivered late as there was a problem with the delivery. Once the driver came he handed the bag over to me and he tried to enter my flat. I felt very uncomfortable when he was being over friendly with me. I quickly took the bag and closed the door. A woman living on her own has made me felt very vulnerable. If he could do this to me, he can do this to any other female customer's.

Althou it was late. Wasn't to much of a problem The. Food was still. Hot and. Tasted really. Nice well worth. Wait. Would recommend
