Food delivered slightly later than estimated. That was ok but half an hour later we had a knock at the door with the same delivery!!!!

I'm sorry, but the ribs were horrible. I gave them to the dog. the duck in black bean sauce weren't much better, the dog had that too. i was left with rice and banana fritter. the rice was ok whilst the banana fritters were tasteless.

I thought this place has changes as said in the reviews, but rice is still bland and not looking like egg fried rice, no flavour in anything. , soggy spring rolls. Not making the mistake to order from here again.

Moved to Hounslow about a month ago, now ordered twice from restaurant. Best Chinese in west London! Follows order notes! Reg order - plain chowmein, egg friend or special fried rice with extra soya sauce and add in chili oil, chicken wings and either king prawns salt and chili or prawn balls with sweet and sour sauce. Defo will recommend to order, usually do 25% of more than 40 so quite good!

This was ordered on Tuesday 4th of March but was delivered today Wednesday 5th March. The China Magic was closed yesterday so I rang them and cancelled. The driver took the food away as we didn’t want it today

Delivered earlier, freshly cooked, quality and quantity worth the money. Tasty chicken curry, chicken balls, special fried rice, chow mien, and honey ribs (lamb).... Well improved comparing last year.. Glad i tried them again....

Honey ribs are good, freshly cooked chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken balls really big size and lovely sauce.. Worth the money.. Well done China Magic, great improvement... Stopped ordering for a year because of very low quality of food, tried again and im impressed of the great improvement of taste and quantity! 👏👏

Driver was rude and intimidating. He called me at 7.45pm and I was at the front door at 7.47pm. I did not understand the issue. This is my food and order and I am the customer and I paid £1.50 for delivery so I did not appreciate this treatment. It ruined my meal. Very disappointed in and upset by this delivery driver!!!

Disappointing Experience – Not What It Used to Be I used to enjoy ordering from China Magic, but my latest experience was nothing short of disappointing. First, the soup was incredibly watery with barely any ingredients in it, yet they had the audacity to charge £7.50 for it. Absolute rip-off. Then, the main meal was so chewy it was inedible – I literally had to throw it away because it was impossible to eat. To top it all off, they sent the wrong dish for the third item we ordered. When I tried to call the restaurant to explain, they hung up on me. No apology, no attempt to fix their mistake – just straight-up bad service. This place has really slipped. It’s not what it used to be. You’ve been warned.

salad for the crispy duck were missing and then didn't arrive for another 40 minutes later, by which time the food had been eaten or was cold. Not good at all.

Initially I was disappointed that my ribs were lamb. I was expecting pork however they managed to pull this off. The ribs were very tasty and cooked very well. Chicken balls were also very tasty, however the special fried rice obviously had no pork either and was full of chicken fat. All in all, it was a very tasty meal, but let down by the chicken gristle fat that was in the special fried rice. Sort this out please as this food was cooked to a very high standard. Please state your ribs are lamb

One hour to be delivered food with no taste and really cheap tasting meat and veg. Poor food quality and not worth having again. Even with the 20% off it’s not worth it.

I didn’t receive my order, but I’ve since been fully refunded by Just Eat. However, there was no delivery attempt, and the restaurant’s communication was unhelpful.

Prawn toast and chicken balls where over cooked

Crispy Duck was dry and overcooked, inedible. Chow Mein poor. Other dishes lacked flavour.

Very disappointed to learn that all the meat from China Magic is halal. I don’t understand why all the meat is halal, I don’t eat halal and I’m sure most would prefer non halal meat.

Message said it was delivered making me think it had been delivered elsewhere. Driver always comes down a narrow drive near my car so I asked him not to come that close to my car and he was pretty rude. Shame because the food is ok. But the delivery guy is not. So last order from me

I ordered Singapore fried rice and Malaysian fried rice. The containers had no marking on which rice was which. As a Malaysian myself, I would’ve known the difference between a Singapore fried rice or Malaysian fried rice, but unfortunately they’re both tasted exactly the same. Placed an order at 19.07 and it arrived at 20.55. I was told at 20.25 that it would be 3 minutes. When it arrived, it was cold and missing all the drinks that were ordered and charged for.

Always order our Chinese from here. Good portion sizes and good service. (First time out aromatic duck skin wasn’t crispy and duck a little over cooked ) still happy with my order.

I used to use this take away quite a bit years ago. Gave up on it because always the soup, or the sauce, something inevitably leaked or the bottle of coke wasn't in the order although I paid for it. Decided to give it another go tonight, nothings changed for a small amount of care the food would have been nice but it seemed like it was thrown into the bag. Soup leaked into the sweet & sour chicken balls which were packed upside down so escaped their packaging & were soaking. Awful never again!

Chow mein was very salty. Hardly any beef in the curry was just onions. Doughnuts forgotten for the second time which I can't get a refund. Not great.

In generally not bad. However the Thai chicken rice is not the traditional Thai rice dish with chicken but some regular fried rice with less vegetable and extra ketchup and syrup mixed in. Prawn foo yong is unevenly seasoned - a bit chunk of it is very salty. All the rest is fine.

It was edible. Wouldn’t order from again to be honest, one of the worst Chinese I’ve had in a long time. Nearly £60 spent to not enjoy the meal.

szechuan chicken was so awful it tasted and smelled off, sauce was awful too and I couldn't eat it at all.

First order from here, primarily because of the 40% discount on Just Eat. It was o.k, but would I order again - probably not. We ordered - Sweet & Sour King Prawn Balls, they were o.k but the sauce was a little too sour but no major problem. Plain Chow Mein, again o.k but a little dry and the noodles were thread egg noodles not medium egg noodles....you may say, what's the difference....there is, believe me, in texture and moisture retention etc Chow Mein is generally Medium Noodles. Salt & Pepper Ribs, small portion, ribs weren't Pork but Lamb with no mention of this on the menu that I saw. They were once again...just o.k but would have preferred Pork. Crispy Shredded Beef, more batter than beef and just o.k again. On the whole, just o.k, a bit expensive for what you get as are most Chinese take-aways and restaurants, god knows why. Would I order again - probably not, unless the deal was very good but it was worth a try at 40% off the already inflated price considering what you get - 4 items £30 or close to it and that was with discount.

Don't know what is happening with these guys used to loved the food but now not so good ordered 2 plum sauce one was a mixture of sauce and oil ? and also ordered 7 veggie spring rolls but got 2 both with chicken in them ?

CHINAMAGIC IN TWICKENHAM Ordered a meal from China magic in Twickenham at 7.57 delivery time was meant to be 8.57 then on the confirmation email it said they were running 10 minutes late so would be here at 21.04, it still was not here at 21 41 so called them and they said its just left here a minute ago, he tried to say that the chef had to take his lunch, what a load of rubbish, he then tried to tell us that we have only been waiting for 45 minutes since the order was put in. I told him that this happened on the delivery before last from them and I will not be ordering from them again. Then a couple of minutes later he called back to say that the ticket was read wrong and he has had to reprint it, so what's the truth either you have done the meal and sent it or you haven't and as for the chef going for lunch! I would advise people not to order from CHINAMAGIC if you are looking for a reliable company and as for the excuse the chef had to take his lunch we'll bully for him while they leave their paying customers to go hungry. The delivery guy has just turned up at 10.03pm I asked if he is employed by Chinamagic and he said yes and I said that we would not be ordering from them again and when I said what happened he agreed they had lied over the phone. This is a personal experience of Chinamagic and I refer to it as a personal experience of their delivery service but this customer they have lost now for good.

Delivery was fine. OK sauce was more like watered down gravy. Can't complain about the rest of the food.
