China Legend Chinese Restaurant in Wyre Forest

Nothing like placing a home delivery order of $90 on their website, have them bill your credit card & then not deliver the order. What make the whole event inexcusable is the rudeness of the restaurant when I rang to find out where the order was. Ordinary food & a disgracefully dismissive attitude. Go somewhere else, anywhere else!

We ordered meal for two via Groupon, Phoned China Legend and booked table for 2, before we went both myself and wife came down with flu like virus that was going around, i contacted Restaurant and explained this, was told not to worry as these things happen and to rebook when well enough, my wife called in a few days later and told the same thing, i was not still well enough so my wife went for this meal for two with a friend, when she arrived she was told that voucher was not valid as it had allready been booked, as she was with a friend she found this embarrassing, the Restaurant has now been closed down because of poor Hygiene,

I’ve been here 4 times now with the groupon offer,my main and most mains cost £6,I’ve always had chips with my main because it includes a side,I wasn’t allowed to tonight,my husbands meal cost £6 too and he was allowed to have a side order of chips,the one servers hair was greasy,and he didn’t smell great,the lady that was serving tonight was perfect,I feel they don’t appreciate their staff,and have gave waiters a tip in their hand,because they are not allowed one,and all tips go to the owners..I won’t go there again

Lovely starters, partner enjoyed his main...I was left sat there waiting for mine!! They cocked up the order, offered to go and cook mine when my partner had almost eaten his!! Still charged us full amount too!! Will not recommend and will not be returning!!

This was an odd experience. Starving hungry we were really surprised to find the place empty other than 3 people on the Friday before Christmas. Decor is 'stark' but the place was clean. The service was slow and obviously understaffed. Twice we actually had to get up from the table to find someone to take our order or order more drinks. Having said that...The food was superb! Soups to start, Crab/Sweetcorn. Chicken/Sweetcorn and Spare ribs lovely. Duck to follow. Generous size. Nicely cooked. Various mains all tasty and perfectly cooked. Good portions and incredably cheap too. One final 'moan'..Cold plates and no table warmers. Apologies were offered with free drink for poor service. Sounds silly, but would I return...? Yes I would. I cant help thinking the 'front of house' problems are temporary. The food is Excelent and the prices very reasonable. I will certainly give them the benefit of the doubt.

Family of 3adults, 1 child. On a Saturday (Groupon), felt service was a little rushed,drinks more important. Wasn't overly impressed with dishes served it was quite bland.sauces quite tasteless. Will not be returning.

We really enjoyed the food. It was great value. About £58 for meal for 4. We had mixed platter of starters (4 each) followed by duck pancakes, then 5 meals to share and 2 big bowls of rice. Great value. Attentive staff. We will certainly go again

Not visited, but food rating on door says, NOT YET RATED. Wrong. July 2019 FSA Rated it 2 out of five. In other words, they don't want you to know truth. Risk it or be sick.

This was awful..horrid horrid the food was disgraceful we ordered 1 starter to share- and a main course each!! never again (plastic tablecloths- which my arm kept sticking too - floor was sticky and unwashed too- bleurghh) We have another chinese in kidderminster that opens lunchtimes, which is 100 times better!

This place is amazing. Nice staff and such great food. Tried numerous dishes within the group and all were very tasty. Good price too. Cant wait to go back

Made a visit to this restaurant after buying a groupon voucher. The sweet and sour soup was lovely and the varied course of sharing nibbles too but the main course chicken with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts was tasteless and insipid.My partner had chicken curry but left a lot which is unusual for him.The waitress was not very helpful or too pleasant but hey ho was a cheap lunchtime meal.Shame but wont return.

Food was really nice again I cant understand review saying curry was watery that's rubbish it was hot and thick as it should be.All the dishes we had were lovely and the guy that delivered it was a nice chap.I recommend you try this as this is our 4th meal without any complaints

Lovely food and the service was good. A selection of soups to start, followed by prawn toast, ribs etc. Great selection of mains, all very tasty.

Wow! A decent Chinese restaurant in the town centre. Excellent food served with grace and charm. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. A wonderful place to eat and a great atmosphere. I wish them every success. Well done!
