China Jade is a fabulous location to indulge in delicious, scrumptious Chinese food. I have to say this restaurant serves the most exquisite, divine salt and pepper chips which made my taste buds jump with joy. I highly recommend this restaurant as the owners are amazing and one of my good friends Tony Cheung works there. I will cherish these divine moments in China Jade as I will be moving to Mongolia in the foreseeable future. Many thanks.

Food is really good. We collected and it was hot, packed well and exactly as ordered. The smoked chicken is delicious! It is one of the best Chinese restaurants we have had in the area. Great to order for a Sunday night in.

We’ve had takeaways from here before and they’ve been ok but tonight it all went in the bin. Ordered 2 chicken dishes with chips and plain rice. The chicken tasted like it’d been cooked days before and reheated with a gooey batter smothered in horrible dyed red gunk and the chips tasted old. Sorry but won’t ever be ordering from here again anytime soon. I actually feel sick from the smell of it all

Been getting takeout for years from here but this week ordered and the food came in a smaller than usual container there was no pork on top as usual and only 2/3 pieces of chicken and 2 king prawns totally unacceptable will not be ordering again from here

Ordered a big order missed a veggie dish clearly ordered one as have one family member who is a veggie and paid for it called to tell them they denied we ordered it. Chicken was dry and re-fried same with the prawns. Said the order would be ready in 10mins which was a slight red flag from the start. Everything looked old and not fresh at all! Will not be coming back. Freshest thing was the rice.

This fine establishment is simply the most deliciously tasteful flavorful and scrumptious Chinese food yard in the world. The new kind caring careful helpful handsome wise owners have turned this place from a disgusting terrible awful dreadful demobilizing dusty restaurant in to a uplifted and elevated Chinese experience. It is clear that the owners put extra love into each piece of chicken they serve. An example of how good the new owners would be when i brought my son to eat here he was eating some crispy fried chicken and all off a sudden began to choke this is when the heroic owner slid over the desk and preformed a life saving upside down reverse flip himneck maneuver followed by life saving mouth to mouth CPR saving my sons life. Coincidently the same thing happened whilst the old owners were working their however this time it played out differently the owners forgot our entire order and my son was forces to eat the rubber of of the bottom of his shoe to avoid starvation whilst this was happening the owners were laughing and videoing my child. tut tut

See my review posted June 2022. Well, now it is May 2023 and I reluctantly decided to order another take out. And I was shocked!!! Shocked in the good sense. The dishes I ordered were absolutely delicious. I ordered special foo yung - great amount of different meats, still very succculent and not dried out at all. Only criticism - there wasn't enough egg. However, it was a lovely dish. The second dish ordered was the Singapore Vermicelli Noodles. Again, absolutely flavoursome. And the meat again was succulent, juicy and lots of it. Well done China Jade for turning things around. Please keep it up - remember, quality food is what brings your customers back. Please do not go back to using cheaper food or watering down sauces to make a saving because you will lose customers. I am really impressed and will try you again and again. But will also write on here if there are further complaints. I would now score your food 9/10. Just like the previous old owners of China Jade.

A chinese take-away is a bit of a ritual of ours on Christmas Eve. This is the first time we had tried China Jade and we will definitely be returning soon. Good portion sizes. The chicken in the sweet & sour balls was good quality meat. Delicious fried rice & very tasty prawn toasts.

The old owners were amazing! Food was incredible. Better than some of the restaurant foods. I was told the chef was from Maxi's Chinese restaurant in town - so no wonder the food was amazing. But the new owners have let the food go. I ordered three different dishes. All just lacked flavour. Like as if they had watered down the sauces so they could get more bang for their buck. And the meat was not velvetised (i.e. not tender) but quite rubbery. This is my local Chinese takeaway and I used to love it. For a while I have been putting off writing a review but the food has gone down in quality and I had to write something because as a customer I should go home and love my food that I have paid my hard earned money for in front of a nice film. But it really did ruin my day. I will try them again in a month or two to see if they have improved and if not - I will write on here and let you all know. I will also write that it is my second review. And if they are still bad, I will post some better takeaways that are a little further away than this but taste amazing (Pho Hanoi in Harehills for instance).

I have been using this chinese for over 25 years tonight will be my last. I should have realised something was wrong when instead of 3-4 large spring rolls i opened a bag of at least 8 overcooked micro rolls, more rolls than spring i can tell you. Then my main one word bland without the usual meat or vegatables. I havn't even bothered eating most of it. A huge disappointment and not the treat that i had expected.

This is a really fantastic place to get chinese takeaway food from. Tonight we ordered the salt & chilli chicken wings, crispy king prawn in chilli suce & crispy shredded beef in ok sauce, all fantastic, in fact the best ever. To eat in we go to G-Wu in Moortown which is superb & China Jade is certainly up there in terms of quality, taste, service & value. Highly recommend. Our favourite takeaway in North Leeds. Keep up the good work.

We have ordered from this establishment numerous times and have never been disappointed. Consistently high quality ingredients prepared and cooked to a good standard. Taste is always excellent and always hot and delivered quickly. We would recommend.

I've only ever had delivery from these guys but like, several times. Never disappoint. S&P Tofu is to die for, mains are always hot, tasty and moreish. Classic Chinese! Oh, and delivery guy is a sweetie. Tip him. x

Got a few dishes to share with friends on a social distancing picnic. I recommended here and it did not disappoint. Everyone agreed it was the nicest Chinese takeaway they'd had. A firm favourite, well worth travelling for.

This was the best Chinese takeaway in leeds. BUT I've had two takeaways in a row that were not good at all! I have a feeling it's under nrw management.

When a local national hotel could not do accessible bathroom as booked, my family were forced to go home early. But we needed to eat and fancied a Chinese. Based upon reviews we decided to try this local Chinese....and we were well impressed. It saved what could have been a very disappointing weekend get together. Thank you 🙏

Well priced, good quality chinese takeaway. Friendly staff and really quick delivery as well as collection. Only caveat is it's a shame they dont seem to take card payments!

Great food and brilliant consistency. Love this place. I have visited here for over 20 years and have never been let down. The family have been cooking for meanwood since and they are part of our local history. Brilliant food and great service.

Al ser recientemente nuevo en Leeds hace un par de años, experimenté un momento de cambio en mi vida cuando probé un tonto. Originalmente, desde el pico más alto, fui golpeado al no encontrar un chino decente, y después de muchos Jade Garden es un pan comido. Cuando hemos llegado demasiado tarde para ordenar, hemos intentado con otros y no hemos tenido más que problemas y malas experiencias. Nunca dejan de ofrecer una buena comida caliente y hemos tenido MUCHO. La única queja es a veces las fichas pueden ser un poco por debajo. Aparte de eso, un favorito y muy recomendable.

Food is always great here, a little pricey but definitely worth it for speed of preparation and quality of food.

I live very near and have used this place for many years. My daughter who lives in London always wants a take away from here when she's up. The family owned take away never stop smiling and nothing is too much trouble. The Best.

Every since moving to the area this takeaway has been our go to! Reliable and reasonably priced. Particularly good prawn gyoza and prawn toast! Friendly service!

I have been using this Chinese for many years off and on because every so often either the quality of food has gone down or in this case they just don't listen.For the past few weeks I have asked for crispy noodles and everytime they are soft. I have informed them of this and yet they still did it incorrectly. All you get is a sorry. No goodwill or anything.This has been the final time I use this takeaway

Second visit this month and can honestly say best Chinese I've had I'm very fussy when it comes to takeaway but this place has restored my faith simply delicious

It's probably the best Chinese in the neighbourhood ! Good variety of vegetarian dishes , Chinese and Thai ( haven't tired Thai )

You cannot fault this chinese. Everything is perfect. The food is the best Chinese I've ever had. All other Chineses are hit and miss. This one is 10/10, and as a cynical and hard-to-please git like me that is saying something, trust me! Their crispy chilli beef is TOTALLY different to any other Chinese, they aren't on Just Eat so you have to call up for this one. Price the same as everywhere else but so much better value as the chef is obviously a virtuoso. Delivery is always exactly how long they tell me anything from 20 mins to 45 mins when busy. Presumably a very well run family outfit, drivers very nice, guy on phone sound, and the food has never disappointed. 10/10.

I always get my Chinese takeaway from here if im in the area.One thing I hate about Chinese take away's is the poor effort to make decent prawn toast. China Jade makes one of the best prawn toast ive ever had. Actual prawns on the toast!In addition to this we always get the Salt & fresh chilli spare ribs, char sui & beef with ginger and spring onion. All amazing!The food always comes hot and the delivery drivers are always lovely. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting decent Chinese food.

My favourite Chinese take away in Leeds by far. The china jade box is amazing value and really tasty. Order from here at least once a month.

Alway's the best. Simply brilliant good food. I love buying from hre because they are inexpensive, wholesome and fantastic service. Do i eat elsewhere yes but always with a little pang of regret because it's never as good. Go there , buy the ribs , the mussels, the great duck dished and say hi because the lads are too cool.

There's a great range of dishes and the quality is really good. You can even choose thin or thick noodles.

With a mother who can't cook I consider myself a bit of an expert on take aways, especially when it comes to Chinese. I lived near China Jade for a couple of years and there is simply no better Chinese food. I don't just mean for takeaway, I'm including restaurants as well. Its a bit of a secret within the Meanwood community but anyone who goes there never goes anywhere else. When moving to London the biggest things I missed were China Jade, My Family and My friends... in that order.

I have used China Jade for years and never had a bad dish or wrong order. The staff are really friendly and the food tasty.They have a small selection of Japanese starters, noodles & curry. This includes a Japanese or Chinese style bento box which is good value for money.

We have been using this take away for years and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. The staff are very friendly and deliveries always prompt. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anybody, and if I could I would rate this place 10 stars!!
