Never received my order, said they delivered it and gave the food to 2 young boys. I live on my own??? So clearly didn’t deliver to the right address! Was not very respectful over the phone about it and didn’t accept there mistake

The delivery person was ignorant and grunted with a scowl on his face. Bad experience for me. If he delivers again I will refuse the order and demand my money back and never use you again.

pre ordered for 18.35. no food at 18.45 and no curtesy call from them. had to chase to be told 19.15 and arrived at 19.20. won't issue a refund!!! really angry as this was for a special Saturday night with family

not as nice as usual, chicken was slimey, chips were very dry, like they had just been warmed up rather than freshly cooked

Firstly who puts cinnamon on salt and pepper chips? I only ordered because empires was shut but I wouldn’t order again. The whole order lacked quality and was poor. Not many places can get spare ribs wrong but these were terrible.

We decided to switch from our regular Chinese takeaway to a new place. The verdict? We’ve never been disappointed! China Garden has consistently delivered on taste and quality. Our regular order now is Tofu with Green Pepper in Black Bean Sauce and Salt & Pepper Tofu (Bean Curd). We are creatures of habit and haven't explored the menu further yet ... 🥢🌶️🍽️

Driver was so rude on delivery. Said, he'd been ringing doorbell even though I gave clear delivery instructions to call when he was close. I would stop using him, he will lose you customers.

Prawn balls (and chicken we’ve had before) have far too much thick batter on but otherwise the food is very nice.

1hr later than requested and 25mins after was told would be delivered. live less than 1mile from take away. would have collected if knew. normally good but disappointed this time

We’ve been going to this Chinese for 20 years. Tonight was the worst experience ever. Food was incredible. Called up about the duck in particular as we had paid over £15 for this. All fat and gristle. No apology no offer of replacement. Had to stop eating and husband had to take it back to get refund. Will never be eating here again. 20 years locality never a complaint.

The ribs I ordered weren't brilliant but the rest was nice and tasty ( chicken fried rice and the prawn chow mein).

The food was great my only issue is when ordering the delivery time states 30-50 mins but when the order was confirmed it was estimated to be between 1 hour 20 mins and 1 hour 40 mins. The order did take 1 hour 20 mins which I believe it was because it was a Friday and they were busy. When the food arrived it was piping hot and very tasty so will definitely order again but allow more time when ordering food.

what a joke ordered our food last night never showed up rang the restaraunt numerous times they never answered got it delivered today a whole day late didnt even get a call from them to explain why or to appologies absolute disgusting will not be ordering from here again

Consistently good! Cash only isn’t ideal for over the phone collection orders, but it’s worth it. The team are always friendly - fave dishes are the Salt & Pepper King Prawn and the King Prawn & Squid Curry. My favourite Chinese take away in Greengates/Apperley Bridge

I can only say good things about this place myself ever time I have gotten anything from here it's been lovely. I normally feel a little rubbish after chinese when I have been anywhere else but this place I haven't once. I would recommend it 👌
