Won’t be ordering again. Cold food and disgusting

I've been trying to order from here all week and they cancel the order for no reason on just eat. Won't be ordering again now

Best Chinese in Burslem. Always very fresh and super tasty! Tried many Chinese before and this one is the one to stay with for the food and taste quality! Best sweet and sour chicken and the salt and lapsed chips are absolutely amazing !!

Ordered from this place, the driver never called to say they were here and cancelled our order. When we called and said our address the woman on the phone got very aggressive and shouty. Wouldn’t recommend ordering from here.

Absolute joke. Canceling my order because too lazy to to cook food at 10:30pm Shop closes at 11pm NOT HAPPY! Not a good way to treat a regular customer that lives around the corner from your shop! your going to loses alot of custom

Absolutely amazing food!! They always come by early and food is always pipin hot. Very nice rice noodles and favourite sweet and sour dishes. Totally recommend.

Orderd a take away about 9 days ago for delivery,and paid for it online.there was a mix up between the numbers on their latest menue dec 2022.and the numbers at the resturant so i called them and asked what problem was after being passed from one person to another i then cancelled the food because no one could speak to me in english when i did manage to get an understanding they said i would get a refund within 3 to 5 days still no refund 9 days later i will never ever order food from here again and would never recomend it to anyone. Also if i do not get my refund soon i will taking them to court the service is pants and if i could give no stars i would

Prawn toast overcooked, spring rolls flattened and over cooked, chips tasted of banana fritter and undercooked. Ordered house special sweet and sour balls, was sent the cheaper chicken balls that were undercooked. Rang the restaurant to complain and was told all they could do was offer a free portion of house special balls the next time I spend money and order again. When I said I would not be returning the phone was cut off. £25 meal went in the bin

They charge extra £2.50 for fried rice. Usually this costs a lot less. They charge extra £2.50 for Boiled rice. Usually this is free with the main dish,

Wouldnt even give it 1 star now used be a good place orderd my usual tonight and the sauce is like dirty dish water with no flavour and only half a tub ring them up to tell them and all I get is yeah we are under new owners which doesnt state this on their website £40 in the bin will take mymoney else where in future so if you are thinking of ordering from here I wouldnt bother

It's with great disappointment after being a customer for over ten years and given great reviews in the past that I'm giving china chef a one star we never have a Chinese from anywhere else up until now a couple of weeks a go we ordered the majority of food was Good but ordered a beef chow mein and could literally fill a mug with the amount of grease that came off it not being fussy one meal that's bad in a long time we let go ordered again tonight really struggled to order by phone no understanding of what we were trying to order finally got there after 20 minutes there was no time given for delivery we ordered on a Friday so expected it to be 45 mins but after 1 hour 30 we phoned and asked where our food was they said it's out for delivery now the food arrived 10 mins later we felt the food it was cold so phoned whilst the driver was still at the door they then started to argue with us saying it can't be cold and then spoke to the driver and asked us to accept a 2 pound refund because it was really late we said no then the driver said give them a decent refund fair play to him he was really decent in the end we accepted the food for a 8 pound refund but were informed by phone that we were not welcome to order from there again after ten years leaves a sour taste but will be happy to take our 40 pound order somewhere else the food is good until there is a problem then they really don't want to know and looking at the hygiene rating recently I'm shocked to know its below par so I'm definitely moving on to somewhere else sorry guys not good enough.

Only had 2 x chicken chowmein and chips cost £17 chips had been cooked a few times cold hard and vile the chowmein tasted like nothing on earth.

Wort Chinese I’ve ever had chips had no potato inside them must have been warmed up god knows how many times chicken curry worst one I’ve ever tasted new to the area I’ll be avoiding from now on I’ll eat most things but this went in the bin more or less straight away am writing this from the toilet not good !!!!!!!

Food was pretty average, but we did get a good portion. And the delivery only took around 10 minutes, which I was quite surprised about...

Do not order from here please shop around they do not deserve the business the food i received tonight was disgusting and half the order missing when a phoned to see where it was they said they would give me double next time !!!! Just awful, the singular worst Chinese that I have ever experienced. The 'seaweed' was nothing more that fried cabbage, the chicken wings inedible , tough little things, prawn bread was soggy, two tiny tough and tasteless ribs (i think) some weird gunk, and two spring rolls that were obviously not freshly made. It was just hideous. Although I am writing this review after only eating the starter (a mixed appetizer) it was so bad that I am looking and the main and wondering whether or not to bother. £15 worth of awfull... Interestingly it was also my first (and last) time ordering through just-eat. Just to recap, the appetizer was SO BAD that it put me off even trying the main dish, Just-avoid

My special curry came seid NO onions was more onions than meat ect .extra curry sauce should of asked for (curry water) won't be ordering from there again use to be amazing food but no more 🤔😧

Food was horrible chips were cold and tasted like been warmed up in microwave rice well go shop and by a bag that you microwave steak has no taste sausges are still pink wrong order for the misses then when rung sorry i dont understand salt and pepper chicken wheres the chicken delivery driver should close bag maybe food would stay warm will not be ordering from here again a waste of 20.00 on something my dog wouldnt eat shocking how this place is even open

Son ordered food last night through just eat .rung the Chinese straight away to ask 4 no onions to which avile women said we can't do that .he asked 4 a refund she replied no he kept ring in to see where the food was but never delivered even though he had paid 15 pounds .this place needs shutting down

Ordered through just eat asked to be delivered at 7.05 pm as I had to put my son to bed it came at quarter past 6 and when it arrived the chicken chow mein was cold chips looked like and tasted like they had been dipped in the oil about 8 times and cold the only thing that was hot was the gravy so I called up to the takeaway I was on the phone for 10 minutes trying to tell the Chinese that it was cold and I wanted a replacement I even told them they could have the old food and I would take it back myself but they carried on arguing the fact that it was hot and I was lying about it because I wanted a refund they then told me I had to call up just eat to get a replacement and then they hung up on me by now I am not hungry and I really couldn’t be bothered because they had such rubbish customer service

Disgusting and refused to refund un eaten food chips were raw n food over spicy just unedible. Asked for refund n they refused. Don't deserve one star but cudnt do any less

if i could give this a 0 star it would. jesus. chips turned up raw. crispy chicken turned up hotter then the hottest curry on the planet. asked for a refund to be told they dont do refunds. customer service 0 food 0 stay awag from this place
