Poor service, ordered online, took 90 mins for delivery and still missed an item off. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Ordered food at 6, arrived late after 1 hr 25mins. Food was stone cold. Chips were rock hard & duck was so dry. Chow mein was very bland. Very disappointed. Won’t be wasting money there again.

We ordered our food they told us that it would be 1hr. I rang after 1hr 20mins, told me its now being cooked. Rang again after another 40mins told it was on its..now 2 hours after order placed. Told them to cancel the order. My children were hungry. This is not the first time this year that i have had a really long wait for food from here. We have ordered from here for years and I think it has changed hands. Avoid unless you want to be hungry.

Great service Big portions at least 10 sweet & sour chicken balls (huge oval shaped) Singapore chow mein wasn’t spicy enough, sorted with chilli sauce Special fried rice lush Chicken fried rice great & perfect consistency curry sauce Free prawn toast & prawn crackers (when you spend certain amount) Best of all all food hot & delivered quickly! Will use again

Special rice was cold, prawn toast had no prawns, chicken toast had no chicken, ribs over cooked, satay chicken dry. Very disappointed.

Best one in the area. Went to the highest rated one last time and it was awful! Don’t trust all the reviews. This one is fantastic. Sweet and sour sauce is lovely. Curry was spot on. Chicken balls and prawn toast weren’t oily! Lovely stuff. Found our Chinese now

ordered from here as it was rated 5star rated, food was 60mins late. delivery time was 21:30 phoned at 21:55 to say order had not arrived to be told it was with the chef. arrived at 22:30 food was cold, tasteless and generally poor. very disappointed will not be using again

first time ordering tonight. food was good apart from shredded beef. delivery driver was fast and quick and was polite, would order again some day :)

I recently left a review about a very poor meal that I had from another Chinese takeaway in Halesowen. Tonight I went to the China Chef. I went for their set meal for one number 1B. This consists of beef in black bean sauce, six sweet and sour king prawns, a pot of sweet and sour sauce, a portion of fried rice and they threw in prawn crackers for free. Easily enough food for two people, if you have a big appetite order one more carton of fried rice. Really tasty food, at £8.30 it's over a pound cheaper than the other place. This really is a case of chalk and cheese.

Really good food and quick too. Just a bit expensive now that the minimum order is £20 and the delivery is £3.50. With just eats charge that's £4 delivery charge. Won't be using them again

I live alone and this minimum order which is now £20 is ridiculous for 1 person. I used to order from here quite regularly but not anymore.

Very good, generous quantity of meat and vegetables not all sauce as some restaurants delivery.

Came late and chilli and salt chicken tasted like plain fried chicken

No prawns in special curry and the food was cold on arrival disappointing not up to their usual standard

We have had many meals from this restaurant. They got the order wrong, it was luke warm, we were told 45 mins and it was 10 mins. Chips were old. For the cost, won’t bother again

Had sweet chilli chicken and mushroom chow mein, really good. Prawn crackers were great too.

The food was fine BUT we ordered one can of pop just to add the 60p we were missing for min delivery charge - of £18!!! - which we didn't recieve. Also we ordered yuk sung which usually has the meat and the crunchy bits. There were no crunchy bits. :(

Rice was cool, just not as good as where we usually go, was dissapointed at the food quality, the best thing was the sweet and sour, all else not great.

This place has great food everything we ordered was delicious and was fast delivery will be using again

Our usual Chinese is currently closed so we thought we’d give here a try. Worse Chinese I’ve ever had. food was bland. Everything we ordered had a fish taste to it and tasted like it had been re-heated over and over again. Sweet and sour Cantonese style chicken was clumpy and all stuck together. awful.

Lovely food but 20 minutes over delivery time and no apologies from anyone. Probably wouldn’t mind but got charged £2 for delivery and a 50p service charge.

chicken curry was very thick, didn’t like at all. chicken was pure white and looked uncooked. chicken balls were very nice but small, bbq sauce very very tasty, probably the best I’ve tried. spring rolls, nothing special tasted a bit plain. wouldn’t order again other than chicken balls

Had a small issue as an item was forgotten but they we’re great and sent it over straight away with extra rice which was great. Again the food was delicious great takeaway and highly recommended.

Food was really lovely but it took an hour and 40 minutes to come and we were told twice in that time that it was on its way. If they had been honest about it then maybe it wouldnt of been so frustrating

When my food arrived, it had all come out of the containers and was in the actual plastic bag. Tried to ring for a refund but couldn’t get through.

Really disappointed. Order from here all the best time And this was the worst we've had in ages. The chips seemed to have been reheated about 5 times and the orange chicken was chewy. Everything was just dry and not fresh tasting will be trying elsewhere next time :(

Absolute rubbish! Food ordered 19.20 and stated 20:10 delivery time. Finally turned up at 20:40, and was missing main dish! Rung, to be initially told the missing dish wasn't on my order. They then consceded defeat and told me they would drop them ASAP. It's now 21:00, still no main dish, and to top things off the food that was delivered was cold. Oh well, they DID offer to put in a fortune cookie after my complaint! 🙄 Just don't bother!...

Usually would rate these ok but I always have beef Thai noodles which is spicy and tasty today I received beef in plain noodles completely tasteless we also received another meal which wasn’t what we ordered and it was 20 minutes late and the food was cold 😕

This is our usual Chinese and absolutely love it given it full ratings in the past but tonight it’s let me down. Prawn cocktail tasted off and gave my partner a bad belly. Also my pineapple fritters had a chip in it! So has clearly been fried along with chips which put me off. Rest of my order (veg yuk sung and chicken curry) was still lovely and really enjoyed it!

Good food as usual but wasn’t happy that the lettuce leaves for the yuk sung were missing.

Time said that it would be delivered within an hour, I thought that was okay as it must have been busy. after an hour had passed I called to check, the lady on the phone was polite and said sorry that it would be here soon. Had to wait another half an hour for it to arrive. it’s a shame that the delivery time let it down because the food was pretty nice even though it had clearly been in the bag for some time.

Food was good, salt and chilli chips were not the best, chips a bit soggy and only a small carton for £3, salt & chilli ribs were great and beef curry was fantastic, I would order again but I would leave the chips and hope the food would be on time next time as 30 mins late is not good
