Always enjoy the food been using the takeaway for years

Really very disappointed in China chef ordered the crispy shredded beef which came chewie and cardboard like was inedible however normally I receive thin extra crispy strips of beef which the dish is supposed to be or course, I then called up and assured I wasn't looking for a refund however the food was just not upto par especially for the price and the gentleman on the phone if you can call him that was very rude disrespectful and hung up twice. Zero customer service skills, Zero manners and Zero work ethic.

Been going here since i was little and i LOOOVE china chef, please bring back the old gravy though the new one isn’t as good

The food was disgusting wouldn’t recommend to anyone the meat was raw the food was cold took neslry 2 hours to arrive and it was really not nice did ring up and they was very rude towards me as I asked him what happened to my order don’t go there guys

Extremely disappointed. The portion is ridiculously small for £5.60. In other Chinese shops around this area the portion is generous(at least 3 times bigger portion)for £1 or £1.50 extra and they even come with complementary chips or rice. Will never return to China Chef.

Never a disappointment. China chef been consistently good for twenty plus years. The pork satay and squid with chilli and salt are amazing. Also, the prices haven’t rocketed up either. And always friendly service too

Don't know what's going on however usually really nice food, I have to say we were very disappointed with our food this time, not much chicken in the chicken curry, chips were hard and no prawn crackers, I rang to complain, he said he would replace but we decided not as we travel from Guiesley. He also said we needed to spend £18 or over for prawn crackers, never had before. Also he said that the chips they now cook more quickly, due to the amount of energy it costs to cook the Chinese chips, I honestly think they are cutting costs by cutting quality

Best Chinese takeaway in Area. Always fresh and delicious. Good service and fast delivery. Highly recommend

We're very fussy about Chinese Takeout, this is the best by far in the entire Leeds area.

Spending a weekend away in the area Very happy with our decision to use this Chinese. Very tasty food. Great value for money. My husband says the schezwen should come with a heat warning due to spicy levels but he still enjoyed it.

Usually pretty good carnt help feeling they are rushing it a bit these days possible new chef don't know but ribs are spot on but on minus not much sauce with chicken curry. On the whole though very much would recommend.

Been here a few times now. Last one was a few months ago with my brother. Lovely simple chinese food with all the dishes you would expect at your local takeaway. Moved down to London and hope to find another just like it.

Ordered a delivery the guy on the phone was extremely rude and told me they don't deliver that far I live in the same post code and it's literally 5 min drive said google would not recommend.

Going steadily down hill, cheap and rotten ingredients, sloppy and greasy, rude guy on the phone who blocks your number or doesn’t answer if you complain. There’s loads of Chinese takeaways in the area, this has got to be the worst and will hopefully get closed down soon by the health inspectors. I don’t want to scare you but look at their kitchen on Facebook, if i would have seen these pictures before I would never have ordered. 😬

How to start.... The food - absolute mush, the curry tasted like Chinese 5 spice! My partners dish - chicken chow mein - tasted like Chinese 5 spice! My kids chicken omelette had bits of bone and little tiny strips of metal, like off the inside of a pan?! I thought that most Chinese takeaways used chicken breast, not other cheap parts of the chicken. The delivery - Nearly 2 hours which ensured the food was stone cold. We rang after 1 hour 20 minutes as the food was promised to be delivered in 1 hour, the guys response, “5 minutes”. We rang again in 10 minutes, the guys response “ 5 minutes”! We rang for the final time and they said the delivery driver couldn’t find our house, it’s a normal house with a number like any other house on a street, it’s not on devils island! So the food finally arrived with all the said problems after personally going outside and waving the delivery driver down who was about to drive off (I think he just couldn’t be bothered knocking and getting out). We zapped it in the microwave and attempted to eat it, it was inedible and had to be thrown. We rang back to complain and the guy hung up on us and blocked our number! Unbelievable. There are pictures on Facebook of this takeaways kitchen as well, absolutely disgusting and filthy. If I had seen these I would never have ordered. Stay away and beware.

The first time I ordered it was distinctly average, very greasy and the food took an age to arrive. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and reordered a week later, this time to collect. When I parked up the building looked like it may fall down at anytime and the inside looked a bit grubby. I dread to think what the kitchen is like! I got the food home, maybe a 5 minute drive in 20 degree warmth outside and the food was still cold and bland/watery! Oh and the grease from the bag left a stain on my car mat! Needless to say I won’t be returning.

Shouldn't judge a book by its cover the food they provide is amazing. I've used this place for over 20 years. Even when I moved out of Leeds I still travelled to get there chowmein and spare ribs

Excellent food, can take upto an hour for delivery buy always worth the wait. Food is hot and fresh when it arrives. Never had a bad experience!! Would defenately recommend to anyone wanting a great take away

Not that good, re_constituted chicken and bright yellow fried rice. Did not tast that good.
