Chilli Flames in Leicester

Very Rude behaviour from the staff, wont ever come back. Worst experience ever.

Just ordered a flame burger meal for £7.50 to take away. Tasted it once we drove out of Leicester!!! The bun smelt and tasted mouldy and was disgustingly stale! I can't believe they would sell something like this.

Chicken cold and chips cold and soggy no sugar free drinks disappointed

Food: Flavour was good but overriding factor was that the chicken felt undercooked in some places. Peri chips were soft and luke warm, could be due to delivery time. Service: Was delivered as promised

We had a family meal this evening. Inside it was so cold and had no heating and we did not enjoy the food because it was freezing. But the food was not good.

10/10 service. Would deffo recommend and will be coming back. Food was hot. Was told it would be ready in 20 minutes but got there in 10 and it was ready.

Amazing service and tasty food! Placed an order for collection on the phone and asked for it to be ready as soon as. Collected 10 minutes later and food was perfect. 10/10 recommend!

The this time round was great food and service especially the Peri peri Portuguese Chicken and the Corn on the Cob tasty.

Visited due to close to where I'm staying and google review. Ordered a jalapeño burger ,with chips and a can of coke and a side of 3 flame tenders . Total price £11.50 now burger was nice but small . Chips plenty of em nice and crispy loads of dips. The 3 tenders were small see pic. Other than the size was really nice and.quite filling.

Very tasty afro-portuguese chicken venue. Food was delicious. Was a bit busy though. Lost a star because the takeaway menu doesn't have updated pricing, a d it doesn't accept card payments

Was passing through Leicester and came across this place. Went for the flames Picante burger and was expecting a large, sized burger but was extremely small, a bit like slider burger. Burger was bland, dry and lacked flavour. Not the greatest burgers i have ever had but would not recommend to all. 2 out of 5.

Absolutely lovely food. Got the Duplo flaming platter takeaway in various choices of lemon and herb, medium and hot. The order was slightly adapted for our need. The best tasting Portuguese style chicken we have ever had beats Nandos for taste. Very fresh, piping hot, lovely flavours. Staff very helpful. Waited 15-20 minutes from ordering to be ready. Staff very helpful. Highly recommended

Please note that this shop is a cash only service and even though their EPOS has a card facility they don't want to use it. The reason is that they don't want to declare their accounts to HMRC. Look at Company House for more details. Furthermore, being in the 21st century people use card more than cash. Avoid at all costs. Grilled healthier alternative to the standard maryland or other fried chicken places tasty wraps pretty good

For a big chain they don't accept card, phone or any other digital payment which is strange because the other chilli flames in leicester does. They will ask u to speak to a boss that is not present and go searching for a cash machine in the rain. They did the same to another couple. Ask for cash but still accept other methods! Especially when u already over charge for basics

Food is great! Great place to order food with friends and family. Service can be poor and slow at times but as soon as you get your food you won’t be disappointed.

Prices are so overrated honestly for a panini fries and a drink it’s gone Upto £8 it’s crazy .. the sauce they give in the little pots have gone watery instead of saucey. The customer service is awful and the men are rude when they serve you.not happy I actually love eating here but don’t know if I’ll visit again which is a shame

There was a strand of hair in my food and when I complained about it, I was told “this time I’ll refund you but won’t do it again since you ate most of it” How else was I supposed to know there’s hair at the bottom of the wrap? Very unhygienic and unprofessional! I was a regular customer but Never again.

I stopped eating here a few years ago due to poor service and not great tasting food. Unfortunately things haven't changed here. I ordered 2 kids meals & a chicken in a pitta. It took over 29 min to get to me. I observed my food waiting under the lamp for over 5 min, whilst he took care of other orders! When I told him, he just said they were telephone orders! So I'm waiting for my food (which was cold when I got it) so he can prioritise other orders! No apology was offered! The food was average, I asked for it fiery hot, I had to add chilli sauce to make it a little hot! There's not a hair net in sight! And they've all got long hair!!! My pitta was tiny! Chips overcooked and no taste at all! I'll never be going back now. Not even my 2 kids enjoyed their cold meals!

Awful service!!!! when I approached the counter there was no other customers waiting to be served. I was not acknowledged and the staff continued doing whatever they was doing like I was invisible I assumed they was busy with an order so I waited. However another customer came in after a few minutes and he was acknowledged straight away "yes boss" he got his food which he pre ordered but he had to pay and choose his drink at that point another customer was waiting behind me and I was still waiting but STILL not acknowledged!! After the assistant finished serving the customer with the pre order he asked the customer behind me if she had a phone order I had been waiting silently the whole time and the assistant spoke to everyone around me so that's when I figured none of the assistants wanted to serve me so I walked off and left the shop. The only reason I can put that behaviour down to is racism they was very efficient serving everyone around me but they never uttered a word to me! There was no reason why 2 customers who came in the shop after me should be served before me!! I wouldn't have minded if it was the 1 customer but they wasn't even trying to acknowledge or say a word to me. I will never go in that store again!! You only get good customer service if your Asian My star rating is -2 but that option isn't available

Food is good from here but two things are always an issue. The customer service is zilch. They all just have a sad face on and don't attempt to greet you! Secondly they still don't take Card payments! It's such a pain and that's why I'll stop going here now.

The food is good however as the shop does not accept card payments, it has caused drug addicts to walk in whilst you are paying and ask for your change. They target chilli flames customers and intimidate them to give cash. Normally I don't mind paying in cash but if this is the result, I no longer want to come to chilli flames until they take a card payments too. I don't understand why every other chilli flames in the UK takes card payments but the first one ever does not. It has ruined my customer experience on more than one occasion. For that reason, I do not enjoy the food anymore and will refuse until a card system is in place.

The side of my kebab was a bit burnt so it kind off needs an improvement.

The delivery is a shambles....the food came 2 hours after the projected time. The food wasn't even the same what we ordered! We need a full refund and discount/waiver for the next order

helpful staff 👌 food is good only issue is the outside of the shop is not clean u can use one of ur staff to sort that out may be u say its nothing to do with you. but when u come inside ur place it doesn't look good.

Cash only, decent chicken nothing amazing but still okay. I got the double chicken burger and it was just right. This is a popular place to eat at in Leicester. Staff were helpful, gave us hand wipes as there is no area for hand washing for customers. Shame there are no customer toilets.

The guy who was talking order he has big disgusting long nails and he is the one taking cash money on the till then he used his hand with out washing no wearing gloves putting cheese on the chips and touch all the food when I placed an order loded fries the same guy who took my order with long disgusting nails .went to make my order then I said to him put the gloves on otherwise don't make my order.then he put the gloves on. After made my order he took it off his gloves .chilli flames owner please tell him cut his nails otherwise I will never go there again

Quick, convenient and healthier than most fast food places. I find the food to be tasty, consistent and reasonably priced. The chicken salad and spinner wrap are amongst our favourites

Food isn't bad, the wings are small though and the service is rubbish. Made a phone order, got told 10 mins. I got there about 10-15 mins later and was still made to wait a further 10 mins despite the fact that there was only one other customer who was also frustrated at how long it's taking.

DO NOT BUT FROM CHILLI FLAMES UNLESS YOU WANT TO DIE. Worst meal I ever had. Bought a strips meal from Granby ST branch in Leicester. While I was eating I choked and couldn’t breathe because there was metal piece in the chicken I had the worst experience ever. Do not buy food from there especially for your children.

Used to be a fan, food has gone downhill over time, ordered chicken fillet burger it was over cooked, dry and tough felt like I was eating leather!

Ordered full chicken and eas told 7 quid, my colleague picked it up for me, after we ate he told he paid 11, I rang and guy blatantly denied That MEANS HE LIED RIP OFF

When they first opened, they were amazing - Food was fresh, prices were good. I would’ve given them a 4/5 star rating back then. But they have just gone down-hill ever since.

Once you have eaten their food, you will keep on going there to buy more. And that's what I have been doing. In other words, their food is very very tasty. And their ROAST CHICKEN, in one word ,scrumptious.

Delivered cold, rubbish amount of chips, limp pita with a chunk of chicken in it, far from the stuffed pita they display on the menu. Awful value for money and I won’t be ordering again!

Ordered on line to my student accommodation. The wrong order arrived. I rang to complain the woman was rude on the phone and hung up on me. I rang back she hung up again. Disgusting people, don't bother going they rob you.

I haven't been here in a while but I've got to say the food is really good. Had the flaming pitta is was juicy and tasted fresh. I'd give the fully loaded fries a miss. Is have some weird tasting salsa which was more like a sauce.

their wraps are so crap, it says they have salad but it’s just really cheap lettuce. They only accept cash which is kinda bad with COVID. Sent me down to an ATM because they refuse to accept card payments and it was raining so heavy I got soaked head to toe! And then after all that the food was crap and gave me an allergic reaction

I went there twice during covid19 pandemic. Probably not the best thing I would admit! I was shocked that some members of staff not wearing mask or gloves. I indicated it to one of staff who dealt my order to wear gloves. On second visit still no signs that staff was taking any measures to protect public. One of the staff members was touching his face, holding glasses, taking calls without wearing gloves. At same time he was serving chips in the small bags clearly contaminating food. This takeway is posing a huge risk to public safety and health by not following government advice. It should be shut down! Food is otherwise average to good not extra ordinary. Some healthy choices.

I ordered a jalapeño burger meal. I went in to collect it and as I walked in the chap was getting my chips ready out the fryer. I noticed that there were some cold stale chips in the tray and he removed the tiny amount of chips from the fryer and added them to the stale chips mixed them about and tried to serve them me. I told him I want a whole portion of fresh chips and he told me that they were fresh. How can people sell food like this?
