Best restaurant in Haywards Heath. You should go try their chicken fillet burger and bbq wings.They also have exceptional customer service, and a special mention goes to Fozia.

6 piece meal deal is what i usually order, great tasting food especially if you put it in the air fryer for approximately four minutes.

Really great food and nice friendly staff! Left a note for the staff with instructions for our burgers and they went above and beyond to make sure it was prepared accordingly. Not many restaurants have staff this dedicated. 10/10 Thank you for the food!

I was served by Fouzia who was so lovely & friendly. She helped me to go through the menu as there was a lot of options to choose from. I went ahead with spicy chicken fillet burger, it was freshly grilled & was not greasy at all. I also ordered a small portion of wings & they were absolutely delicious. Overall amazing service & amazing food. Chief chicken is truly a hidden gem in Haywards Heath.

Walked in and asked about non breaded wings.... instead of being told to f off I was offered a few none breaded wings.....normal wings where made with secret basing and were cooked to perfection. I was assured that those would be an option in the near future... All in all.....excellent food and excellent hosts 5 star All the way!!¡!@@@

I really enjoyed it as I came with my dad to haywards heath as there is no chicken shop in Burgess Hill lol. I could predict the seasoning and the flavor and the spice just by eating the chicken! The fries could've been more crispier though. For the service, I waited there for not a short amount of time but not a long amount of time either. They're very nice. As for the atmosphere, in such a shop with not a lot of space, the chairs were pretty comfortable. The reason I didn't put 5 stars is because the chicken and chips were together in the box, and I wanted them separately. Oh well, I enjoyed it.

I ordered a chicken wrap meal (takeaway) from this place. A very kind lady took my order and carefully packaged it, making sure to include all the little essentials like salt and napkins. I enjoyed the meal on a bench in the park across the road. Despite the limited space inside the shop, they’ve cleverly arranged it to create comfortable seating for customers. The wrap was delicious—far surpassing my expectations. I’m not sure how they make chicken taste so good! I asked for chili sauce, which was also surprisingly tasty. The chips with piri piri salt were the perfect complement. The prices were very reasonable. If only this shop were closer to my home, I’d gladly go there more often.

Food is great, I’ve been a few times but the last time I went customer service was horrendous really lets you down with how they speak to you. Sort it out before you lose customers.

The peri pockets are absolutely amazing. Have had them a few times and never disappointed. Chips are always really hot and fresh. They missed our drinks once but after a quick phone call sent us some out, good service.

Classic chicken shop menu. Hot and fresh.

The food is great and has improved a lot since they first opened however my issue with them is the slow service (due to a lack of food preparation it seems). If that can improve than I'll give another star. I recommend having a menu where the till is cause the electronic screen they have changes the menus too quickly plus its missing at least one item that is available on Deliveroo. EDIT: Well they've certainly upped their game, so I've awarded them another star.

Wanted to try this place for the first time. We had heard mixed reviews, We had our food delivered by deliveroo food was very tasty especially the smashed beef burger. Only down fall is value for money very small meals.burger was MacDonalds cheese burger size the Macaroni cheese bites Are delicious. We give it a 6/10 in total because stupid fees added for a paper bag, and a service charge, and meal size. We wouldn’t rush back the food wasn’t bad it arrived warm but tasted good. It’s a lot of money when you can get a Chinese for the amount we spent.

Gave it one more try to see if it improved. wish I had not still very expensive. For imitation KFC. Chips and burgers load of rubbish.Chicken at KFC is better. Needs to be bigger portions and cheaper. Only worth buying if 50 percent of or buy one get one free on Uber eats. Even then KFC is better and often cheaper.! There are lots of chicken shops in London Brighton etc that are cheaper than KFC and as good or better.

Didn’t enjoy that one bit, chicken was very dry plain and stale as if it’s been sitting around all day definitely not freshly made the chips were actually borderline disgusting it was some fresh ones mixed with old ones again dry and stale, honestly big let down £40 down the drain stupidly believed reviews, chief chicken more like cheap chicken 🤮 You’ve been warned

The food is absoloutely phenomenal and their staff is so nice. My favourite dish was the Frontier burger. I highly recommended visiting this place. Also, the tea hits the spot!

Well, if I have to be honest, I just had the most incredible burger of my life, the Breakfast burger. Now, I don’t usually do reviews unless it’s over something truly special, and this is Indeed a special moment. This burger gave me chills and really hit the spot, looks immaculate and really got me thinking, I should’ve ordered two. Pure class, thank you for the quality you guys are producing down there, you don’t often see passion like this put into food anymore, really swept me off my feet. I will be back again for sure.

It is not the fastest fast food, but wasn't a long wait either. it is really fresh tasting and delicious so worth the extra time. Wish I could give 4.5 stars as it was excellent but the rice tasted like microwave bag rice and I don't understand why you have to pay extra to make it spicier. That aside the burger was excellent and so was the chicken + chips

They were slow to make the food but it was totally worth the wait. My grilled chicken peri burger was delicious.

Considering the KFC across the road is awful and run by children, I thought this place couldn't be any worse. However I was pleasantly surprised. Even the packaging with the little sticker holding the lid closed was a nice touch. They must have a spy in colonel sanders's kitchen because their seasoning is on point and tastes just like KFC! Chicken was juicy and succulent and the wings had a lovely crunch and a nice heat but not too much. I thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. You have to try this place, I will be back!

I was feeling for fried chicken tonight thought give a try the chief chicken, but Hell, made a great mistake taste like nothing but salt.very very salty.taste like chef dipped the chicken in salty water.👅

First timer, ordered the beef burger meal. The fries are crispy crunchy, fresh, perfectly seasoned (I'd say they're the best fries (not chips) in Haywards Heath) Burger was delicious! All fresh ingredients. And I didn't have to wait long for the order. Basically perfect, and highly recommended.

Went here today and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was so white, tasty and tender, probably the best chicken I've ever had. My grandad had a burger and he said it was so juicy and tasty. We'll definitely be coming back.

Also about the same price or more expensive price wise.If it was a lot cheaper then i would give them that and rate better. kfc has better deals and is better taste. . London has chicken shops that are cheaper than kfc and good chicken. e.g morleys etc.At the moment just go to kfc. they have twister wrap 2£ right now.

Good place, probs the best chicken n chips in Haywards heath area. Would recommend their dipped chicken burgers where u can choose the spice level. Very friendly customer service as well. Only downside I would say is it could offer cheaper meal deals etc.

Food is very nice but pricing is too high to keep returning. I'd much rather not support the big chicken chains and go here but better are deals needed.

Absolutely fantastic place for chicken. Very reasonably priced, served HOT and within a decent time for freshly cooked food. The two people behind the counter were really friendly and were kind to my two young children. The food was delicious, can't fault them at all! The quality of the chicken was amazing. Everything was eaten and loved by all of us (myself, my husband, my mother, my 2 and 5 year old) We'll definitely be returning!

The food is just amazing and it’s way better than KFC the milkshakes look lovely and the fries are the best you could EVER! get! Just the one thing is that the prices are a little over but it’s worth it!

This restaurant should be renamed to imitation chicken as it tasted exactly like U.K. KFC!! Which I cannot stand. Greasy and unpleasant. I couldn’t eat it and fed the chicken to the dog instead. The snickers milkshake was basically, half a tub of cheap vanilla icecream and one snickers bar for £4.25 I believe. Better of making your own for cheaper!! Very dissatisfied and disappointing. Best to stick with jollibees if you want some decent chicken

Utterly delicious! Had the frontier burger, beef and chicken was good. Chips better than KFC. My only critique is that for £8.99 (Burger, Chips and drink) I would like a piece of original recipe chicken in there. More chicken please, because it was so great.

If you are looking for an alternative to the rubbish kfc in Haywards Heath this place is the one for that. Not as greasy and unorganised. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because they forgot our drink on delivery other than that they are great. Similar prices too

First time today I've ordered the best I've had chips where perfect hot not soggy and the chicken was great no grease at all miles better than KFC definitely worth trying this place out.

Have tried to order from here 4 times now but have only actually had 1 order fulfilled. One was cancelled, another because they had no chicken and didn’t want to cook more and then the most recent was because “we’re a bit busy”. I’d love to say the foods nice but at a 25% chance of actually getting it it’s not worth the gamble. Just go to KFC across the road

New kids on the block. Food is hot and freshly made. Excellent customer service. Always willing to cater for our needs the few times we have attended. Clean and Comfortable settings to sit down and eat or nicely packed up to take out. The towns been craving for something new and something different and quite frankly a little special and this is it. Keep it up guys. P.S ask the chief for what they recommend and can cook u up something with a twist.

Tried the halal fried chicken through the magic bag from too good to go, the chicken was juicy and tender, the skin was crisp! Well seasoned and not oily. Love the spicy smaller drumsticks and wings. All reasonably priced! Definitely will be having this instead of KFC.

Had the grill burger, the chicken was tender and juicy. Really enjoyed it and would recommend.

Its nice to eat chicken from a fast food shop that doesnt make you feel sick like 10 mins afterwards. Chips arent soggy or bathed in salt, good portion size too. The chicken wings arent saturated in grease, and actually tasted like a decent piece of chicken. The shop itself was clean and well presented and the staff were really nice and friendly. Would eat here again for sure!

The food is served piping hot. I don't think I've ever had chips served to me that hot - so they end up staying crispy for a while as you eat. Everything I ate also tasted great and you can really sense the quality of the product as you eat. The owners are amazingly friendly too. Asking how the food was, if the whole experience was good etc - showing they really care. Interior is comfortable and clean so overall, I can't fault this place. Wishing them every bit of success.
