Chick'n Lick'n in Belfast

This was the worst experience of my misery of a life. My backside feels like it’s had a flame thrower held to it for 24 hours. There is no way this chicken was real meat. It was stone cold and looked like it had be fried in 1995 and kept in a cupboard for 25 years. I think I’ll need to go to an and e and attach myself to a life support machine after this.

Just watch they take double payments on drunk people, and make up own pricing after a certain time, 30 pound for chicken popcorn 3 chicken tenders chips and gravy and a drink BASICALLY we got the last scraps ....they said this is the REAL PRICE 😂😂😂😂

Awful! Just don’t bother. Dirty, cold tasteless chicken, the worst gravy I’ve ever tasted! Shockingly bad and not cheap either!

Superb Chips. Just what you need on a rainy day. Added points for paper packaging and a very memorable name. Chicken looked crispy too.

Top 10 things to avoid in Belfast: going to eat in this place. The place is dirty and cold, the smell is even quite unpleasant. We ordered the party box for 28£ and we got a 1l Coca Cola bottle (instead of an 1.5l as shown in the menu explanation) and the chicken smelled terribly, probably deep fried into an oil from dark ages. The owner is quite creepy with a strange way of looking at people… Won’t get back here to eat, even if I get a prize for it.

This was my first and probably last visit here. I ordered the peri peri chicken burger meal and while I thought the price was good I realised what when it arrived. The best part of the meal was the tin of coke. Chips were nothing special but this has to be both the saddest looking and soggiest burger I have ever had. I had to lift up the top of the bun to see if there was actually any chicken inside. So much sauce and mayo I could hardly hold the burger.

I never write any sort of reviews, anywhere, even if I've had a bad experience, I'm just not the type of person. But, last night I went for a meal with my family. I have been here many times before. But last nights experience was so bad I had no choice to write this review. First of all, our table was not clean, there were sauce and a sticky residue every, there were food bits on the chairs. We had to clean with our own wipes...not our first time, lucky we always carry wipes. Then came the food, the fried chicken was clearly left overs from night before, overly salty, tasteless, dry and hard. Kids could not eat. The peri wings were just OK, but tiny tiny pieces, again dry and had a burn taste. I don't think they clean the grill they cooked it on properly. Only edible items were the fries, again not the best quality, must be a c grade brand as they were mainly small pieces.. Definitely not long pieces fries you'd expect. Only ate i we were starving having intermittent fasted for 18 hours. Had cook up food to feed the kids at home as they would not eat anything here. Then could not sleep all night, my wife and I had to drink like a gallon of water as the salty chicken kept our mouth dry. Kept having to run to the loo for a pee. Then my wife ended up with stomach pains and a sickly feeling all night, which kept her up all night. I woke in the morning with stomach cramps and feeling sick, and my farts never stank so bad. Definitely something wrong with the chicken. Must have been off and the just cooked it anyways. Not a great experience all. I'm sorry having to write this negative review.

Staff were friendly and helpful ,there was plenty of chips served with food and they gave us some free dips ... kebab was tasty , not amazing , but good ... chicken too was good ,,, all in all was an enjoyable meal and found it good value for money...

The new owners have disgraced the place. The food was absolutely disgusting! No flavour the chicken was like a rubber and top it all they didn’t even have the peri peri sauce . We have been going there for years the previous owners were very understanding and polite but these people don’t know the meaning even have a customer service even on the phone the guy was soo rude never will be going back there again and waste my money . Please stay clear if this place !

Was okay did the job at 2 in the morning. Chicken was chicken nothing exciting. Too many customers, no social distancing, staff where okay basically a chip shop that sells chicken

To call themselves a chicken establishment is a joke! Chicken was chewy and NOT crispy. The staff seemed to be fine accept rushing us and making rude eye contact. All in all the chicken was not licken !!!

Family meal was good. The chips were crispy and held the salt well. The chicken was nice, but there wasn't much on the bone. Chicken fillet burger was lovely, although the bap was a little flimsy

Got food here thru ubereats and it was tasty but the reviews there were much better than on here! The food itself was not bad but not great. Wouldnt order again tho given the reviews here!

No me gusta el pollo y mi familia ama el pollo frito, como era tarde y todo en esta ciudad cierra temprano páralo que estamos acostumbrados, optamos por comer acá. Hay un kebab muy picante y rico como opción! El salón estaba razonablemente limpio y nos atendieron muy bien. Las papas fueron abundantes y los precios en sintonía con los de cualquier local de comida rápida. El horario más amplio hace que los valore positivamente.

I’ve no idea how this place has good reviews, the quality of the food is shockingly bad. It’s not cheap either. Cold greasy chips, dry cold chicken. Do yourself a favour and keep well away from here.

I ordered my Christmas dinner from Chick'n Lick'n. My food was very late, delivered on foot and freezing cold. The delivery man didn't even wish me a "Happy Christmas". I will get a KFC next Christmas.

Worker snatched money out of my hand. He then proceeded to charge me £1 extra and when I questionned him about it he said it was too late and moved on to the next customer. Awful service

Done the job after a day on the Guinness. Greasy although tasty. Not overly priced either. A decent place to go to get food at the end of a night out

There where missing items ie chips and there where only half the onion rings. I called the restaurant and was told by the man that I am looking for free food when I said to him he is talking nonsense he told me “listen darling you can f@ck off”. I’m disgusted at the service or lack there of.

Chips were soggy, and batter was falling off the goujons when they arrived. Chicken in the burger was crunchy and very little mayo.

Food arrived early. Delivery guy was polite. Fried wings were crispy and moist in the inside. Peri peri chicken cooked throughout, tastes great with spicy marinade.

ordered my food at 6.21 and at 7.55 it still hasn't been delivered. It was due for 7.05 and is at most a ten minute drive from the restaurant to my flat. Been on the phone several times to the restaurant who first assured me the driver had arrived at the flat but no one was there, then he'd left to go to another delivery. Then they gave him my mobile number and he said he was outside and he wasn't - went to wrongness address. Waited 20 minutes and a few calls later to learn he was on his way. Staff at rest isn't unhelpful, kept telling me to call the delivery driver. Still hasn't arrived in the time it takes to write this! I appreciate things happen but really this is not fair

Ordered here for myself and my partner last night paid by card and completely forgot so when it was delivered I paid the guy also I hadn't even realised so after eating my dinner I checked my phone to 12 missed calls from delivery driver who was trying to contact me to let me know that I had made a mistake and he has put the money back through my front door 😊 completely restored my faith that there are still some genuinely honest people out there. Thank you so much delivery guy. And food was delicious will 100% be ordering again chicken burger was beaut👌👌

I ordered a large coke (1,5 liters) they gave me 3 small cans instead which is less than 1 liter... The burger and wrap were smothered in so much mayo the wrap was inedible but after scraping most of it off the burger I could eat it. The fries were soggy as expected but tasted fine. The boneless strips didn't arrive at all. Horrible service basically and I will not be ordering from them again.

Absolutely amazing- order came in fast. Peri Peri chicken is delicious! Fried chicken portions are well done, we like that it is not soggy from oil. Absolutely great place, will order more in the future!

There was a mistake made with the delivery- extra chips sent out instead of the chicken strips that I ordered. However after calling the restaurant they sent out the chicken strips, and sent extra ones! Honestly they were worth the wait, the chicken was so soft and juicy and the batter was crunchy and delicious! Thank you for sorting things out, food was top quality :)

I got my food early which was nice, but I did not get what I ordered. I ordered 1 boneless box and 6 boneless strips extra, and 2 bottles of coca-cola, but what I got instead was 2 boneless boxes, 2 bottles of diet coke. The food did taste good though.

They provide a larger portion of fries and three different type of sauces. They also take into account the message that i include when ordering using just eat
