Chicken Stop in North East Lincolnshire

This is a 1 star review for the reason of the delivery driver only. I live in a shared house and put this in BIG letter and my mobile number on the order. When she delivered she hammered away at the door for 5 minutes and when my house mate came to tell me she was here she said she “only just saw the note”. Rude. Probably couldn’t speak or read English.

It is my new go …. To … fantastic quality of all meats and side dishes ie sauces etc I ordered the southern fried potato’s ( second time around) and the first time they were AMAZING , but unfortunately the 2nd time around there was No southern fried taste at all , just basically big massive wedges Although delicious and amazing I was just disappointed in the lack of southern fried spice but still yummy

Food was freezing cold wasn't happy as it was 4 the kids tea now I av got to get them something else coz that was not worth giving

The chikchen was dry the chips was dry and not nice at all will definitely not be ordering from here again and very expensive for what it is kfc is better and would be cheaper 💩

Awesome for picky eaters, decent sized portions and also good if you want a normal burger with no grossness.

wings were stale and bland with no spice, chips were soggy and cheese wasn't melted.

Food is always spot on, especially the chicken kebab, you get coleslaw included instead of having to pay extra for it. The staff are always friendly.

Missing cake, some chips are cold and some are warm, chicken is mainly bone than any actual chicken and doesn't taste nice at all and wasnt hot.

1hour 20 mins for delivery. Luke warm food.. overpriced.

Food was cold when got here so chips and the potato was dry, some chicken wasn’t cooked fully when bitten into!!

The food was barely warm and very bland. Not helped by the fact the bags smelt very strongly of cigarettes. We won't be buying from here again.

Nice crispy fried chicken. Not greasy or dry but really tasty. Lots of cheesy chips and decent BBQ sauce. Very nice

Out of ten minus ten. I really enjoyed sitting on the loo for last 2 days and a good job we got 2 toilets as my other half been on the other loo for same amount of time. Save Ur money unless you need to clear your guts out. Terrible just terrible but great laxative. Ps I'm still on the loo and decided to start painting the walls while I'm in here

Early delivery of luke warm, extremely bland and old chicken. Battered potato "wedges". No idea what they're about.. Ketchup was ok, but will stick to KFC in the future.

I purchsed the combi box last night. There was no taste. Tasted very stale. To expensive . Threw the meal away. Have spent most of night and this morning in bathroom. Will be contacting the food agency on monday. I will not be purchasing again

Not great, the chips were okay, standard fried chips. Chicken was tasteless. Burger bun came dressed as as chicken bun and thrown together. “American” cheese… cheese slice from the Co-Op. £30.00 lesson learned and won’t be using again.

First time ordering tonight and must say was absolutely banging in my opinion it was better than KFC. Ordered the 16 PC boneless crowd pleasers you get plenty and it fed 5 and we're all stuffed great service took no time at all to arrive will definitely be ordering again 😁👍oh and really good prices

Really sweet lady that delivered the food.

Food was hot and delivery was very fast, but my order was missing the main item and instead I got something completely different.

Well, I have them 6 starts for the following reasons: 1. Excellent food. Everything was quality and the chicken wasn’t dry. 2. Great valve. 3. They read the delivery instructions as I live in a shared house. 4. I’d happily order again.

Always good food and way better than KFC. The SF Wedges are awesome. Never get it early though as very popular.

Try to order from these as its nice food, but I ain't paying £4 delivery that's just ridiculous. £27 trying to charge me for burger meal and chicken meal, went else where same meals £19

The food was good and warm and on the whole quite good. Unfortunately because it arrived early it caused issues.

For the love of God, when you do a wrap, the FOIL you roll it in to keep it hot is supposed to be on the INSIDE. both times I've had to reheat it because common sense is far too difficult. Moronic. The old owners from when I worked here when it first opened had more sense.

This food was gorgeous. Not at all greasy and was amazed at what we got for the price. Was so hot the gravy was steaming and had to wait for chips to cool. Far better than kfc and service was speedy. After so many problems with kfc I have now found somewhere that was recommended so will always order from here from now on. Keep up the good work guys and don't let the quality drop like alot of places do and you'll have our custom from now on 😁😁😁

Great food. All 3 of us enjoyed our meals. Given a 6* for restaurant service, but can't comment as it was home delivery (Chicken Stop don't even have a restaurant!!). Why can't Just Eat ask for a relevant review?

Ordered last night, the chips were the best I've ever tasted :') I was originally not looking forward to them due to chip spice being unavailable, however I'm pleased because the flavour and crunch was perfect; definitely didn't need the spice! Yum!😋 My mother LOVED the strawberry cheesecake, her words, 'Thats what you call a cheesecake! Heavenly!' Thank you ever so much to the team x

Food wasn’t delivered at all. When I called about it I was told they’d call the driver and then call back, which they did. Was told the order was delivered to a woman, and when I explained that I live alone, am a male and that it wasn’t delivered to me and that I’d be requesting a refund based on that, the person on the phone got aggressive and started raising his voice.

Ordered last night the delivery drive came late then didn't have my drinks so I asked him for the food he said no drove back to the shop to get drinks then came back food was stone cold was very rude delivery driver I paid 30 pounds for food that was cold i would like a full refund please

Lovely food and fast service. Was going to order from KFC but found Chicken Stop does the same types of meals at a cheaper rate! Definitely ordering from here again in future! Also, their cheesy chips are to die for! 🤤

KFC is better than this, at least they add spices to their batter/ People calling this better have no clue.

First time ordering from here, will not be my last. Firstly, the food was piping hot and you can tell it was very freshly cooked. We had 2 chicken strip wraps, and even the lettuce was fresh and crisp. Perfect amount of sauce, and the chips were amazing (didn’t finish chips as wraps filled us up but they were so good) Secondly, we had a Kinder Bueno milkshake, absolutely amazing. Reminded me of my favourite take away back in Derby so 10/10 for home comforts! Thirdly, food arrived early which was good as we were starving. Delivery driver followed instructions to call, and was a really nice man too! If you’re not sure about ordering from here, I can HIGHLY recommend it.

First time ordering from here and I ordered a chicken fillet burger but what came was a bun with chicken strips not a fillet and the overall taste of the chicken wasn't that nice will not be ordering from here again

Burgers are to die for real meat not that patty mush breaded garlic mushrooms were lush can sometimes over cook them only downside. Fast delivery everytime and food is always hot. Definitely will be our regular if we fancy a burger or two ☺️

Chicken burger was nice but the wrap was far to salty.

Gave us three fries when I paid extra for southern fried wedges, not bothered by the quid, just an inconvenience.

Minor confusion - I was looking for a burger place. Same place lol The food was excellent - good quality, well cooked, generous size and very reasonably priced! The guys in the shop also brilliant! Very friendly and helpful. Not up that way very often, but will certainly be adding it to my "Will visit again" list! A very well earned 5*'s

Ferrero Rocher milkshake taste like still vanilla yuk is rubbish throw in bin. More extra chocolate in properly a milkshake. Meals all it's great hot foods.
