Chicken Spot in Birmingham

Omggg I am disgusted I ordered 5 peri wings from here the wings taste like tar as though it has been dipped in charcoal and served. I can't seem to get this disgusting taste out my mouth I am sickened. Stay clear!

Used them quite a few times, as their prices are pretty good and the food has been nice. A couple of times they've got our order a bit wrong, but tonight they sent the wrong pizza entirely. After calling 4 or 5 times trying to explain what had happened, the guy didn't seem to understand what we were saying. After about 40mins, they did send out the correct pizza and some free wings. Appreciate the gesture, but far too late (correct order arrived about 1.5hrs after we originally ordered) so won't be going here again.

To all you people still eating from here you make me sick. These people use off chicken, the smell is something you can imagine smells like when someone’s been left for dead for 7 months. This place needs reviewing and closing its baffling how they still are open????

we ordered the food because we were regular customers and it looked enjoyable but as soon as it got here I was disappointed the chicken was dry the soup had no taste it tasted uncooked the sauces were watery had no taste chicken wings and strips also was very dry and it was just a waste of money!

I really don't know what's happened to this place. We have been regular customers for years but won't be ordering again after the last few experiences. My daughter picked up order from there today and we can't even eat it, it smells so bad, and a few bites was enough to throw it in the bin. If I wasn't so tired after a long day I would have taken the food back for a refund as we've just wasted our money and now I have to cook something. Really disappointing.

Vile use to love this place before new ownership chicken was bangin. Ordered a junior chiken combo meal yesterday it was aweful. Chicken stunk not only of cleaning products dometos or something but the chicken was old days a week I'm not sure it was horrendous 🤢. 2 bites and threw it in the bin waste of £15. Don't waste your money. Peri Fino's 10 minutes away. Hate to say it but chicken spot needs closing down new ownership has ruined it 100% health Risk be warned.

have been a regular customer for years but today the food was cold, grey and tasteless with no sauces provided!

Chicken was pink on burger and wrap was wrong so we called and asked for it to be replaced. Rather then sending the food to be replaced , they sent the driver to pick up the bad food and he said he would be back ASAP with the new food. 40 minutes later still no food. Called the restaurant and he said the driver was coming with the new food. This place is 5 minutes down the road from me. New food come: burgers were wrong not double stacked like I paid for and pink again. Looked like the same burgers to be honest as buns were now stale. Called restaurant and man was rude saying I sent you fresh food. So fresh it's raw. Wouldn't give me a refund. Got photos of raw food will be taking it further for my refund.

My brother ordered for his partner, my partner and myself yesterday evening. His partner was complains about the chicken being dry which we all agreed on, something wasn’t right. This morning, we all woke up with bad tummy’s and diarrhoea. I called the restaurant, it was very noisy in background so could hardly hear a thing, and they said they have never had a complaint like this before. LIES! I have only just read the reviews to see this restaurant is absolutely appalling. We will never be ordering from here again, we will also be spreading the word.

My partner order food last night for myself and his self and my sister and her boyfriend, I complained that the chicken was dry and everyone agreed, we all woke up this morning with bad stomachs and diarreah, so my sister phoned the restaurant and they said to her they can't do anything about it and he said they have never had any complaints about it before. My sister then told them that she will be taking it further and giving them a bad review, we will not be ordering from this place again.

Missed out some chicken stripes and 7 sauces. Taste of good has also dropped in standard compared to 6 months ago

Ordered food.. missed out on the strips.. poor boy was working alone whilst the owners were standing outside. Food was very bland and chicken was dry as well as the chips being slightly burnt. Therefore, Need to give more attention to your orders. 1 person cannot do everything.

Probably the worst shop to order from. They get absolutely everything wrong every single time you order, so much so I can’t order from Uber no more as Uber reject my request for compensations as I have done it to many times ! Today they sent different burgers no fries, cold. Hard bone in a chicken burger. No sauces. Don’t order from foodhub either as they never actually accept it and your left not knowing if food will ever turn up, also don’t send your partner in to get food unless you want her gone for over an hour.

Regular customer really love the food here, tried cheeseburger was amazing also pizza was nice my mum loved it, they not stingy with there toppings. I have already recommended the shop to my family and friends they had no complaints. Keep up the good work guys

Always order from here best piri piri...but not now. my son ordered last week and warned me chicken was inedable and he binned it, but still I ordered my junior combo, chicken was not charred as normal but had sloppy skin, breast was cooked but still trying to hang onto the bones, the leg was barely cooked bordering on raw, my pregnant daughters was raw. Wings all sloppy, strips were ok, son in law phoned to complain and was told they could replace the leg or get discount next time....what next time!! Feel sad I will never order from here again and I've lost the the best best piri piri around, my search for a replacement will start now.To your accusation it's a fake review, my son in law ordered the food, Ryan cheslin, I think you will find his review on here with a lovely picture..xx

We always order from here as its a favourite of ours and the food is normally brilliant! Tonight we ordered and noticed something had changed immediately! Halfway through eating my Wife noticed one of her pieces of chicken was raw, not just slightly raw either! We phoned them straight away and told them, they said they would send out another one of those peices of chicken, I said no and there was no other option. No refund because I ordered straight from the website and payed by card which seemed ridiculous to me as I have payed for a meal that is inedible. So no resolution to the raw chicken just a half arsed apology. So no more chicken spot for us. Edit for the reply from owner: Yes review is linked to Allen's because he is my Father-in-Law! We have been ordering from your shop for years, this is the first time we have had a problem. So no this is not a fake review! I wish it was because then my very pregnant Wife wouldn't have almost eaten raw chicken. When you are served chicken this raw it's still clucking it deserves being reviewed. Owner also knows this isn't fake as I called them myself and spoke to them who asked what and how I ordered and what my name was.

First time trying this spot , happy to say I will be going back. The food was nice and fresh and the customer service was as brilliant. All staff were nice and polite especially a staff called ASH.

I have alergies to egg (mayo) and they still put it on the burger even after I told them. Its very dangerous and I only noticed after I got home. Terrible.

Tried this place as my usual friday night takaway shop was closed. And the food was lovely delivered fast. This is my new place to order from. Highly recommended. Update. The last few weeks we have had to chase up were our order is. Last night it took 2 phonecalls and it was 1hr 20mins from ordering

Avoid at all costs, terrible service, staff don't know what's going on passing the buck no apology for service, ordered food and told it'll be ready in 15 minutes for pick up, arrived after 20 minutes only to be told oh sorry nobody made your order as staff began to bicker with one another as to whose job it was to make the food I ordered. First and last time at this place.

Food took 1 hour 20 mins when they said 45..it arrived and the chicken was swimming in grease and I mean swimming waste of 12 pound...stay clear..Food went straight in bin..avoid

Chicken tasted and smelled off I wouldn't reccomend......and no I'm not sad enough to write a fake review. Hands down the worst good I've received, I wouldn't like to imagine how you guys store your food and other hygiene practices.

Can't really fault it. Lemon and herb was ok but the lemon is way too much conpared to other lemon and herb chickens. Wings was nice chips was soggy pizza was just standard. No problems with the food thou but delivery was hour and half

Bloody delicious food and good prices however the wait time is to long. We were told to collect in 15 minutes, then when we got there we had to wait a further 35 minutes 🤨 not nice when you're hungry!

WORST CHICKEN SHOP IN BIRMINGHAM Avoid this place for fried chicken, absolutely awful food. The pieces are chopped up, so you aren't really getting what you paid for!Thigh and breast pieces are chopped up which is a disgrace, I've never known anything like it The two individual pieces in the photos are actually supposed to be thigh pieces!. They have literally cut the bone piec off the thigh and served it as a piece of chicken. What an absolute embarrassment. I paid for 10 pieces of chicken, I was lucky if I had 4 pieces in the re. A year ago, this place was the goto place for fried chicken, my word has it gone down hill! This place seems to be under new management every other month, as people keep commenting, what a comedy show.

Had pizza and piri piri chicken. Absolutely amazing. Juicy chicken with a perfect flavour and pizza tasted just right. Very pleased with the food and polite service under new management. Highly recommend to everyone. Will be going there again.

Grilled chicken strips were undercooked as usual, but the chicken and wings were nice. However the scruffy looking dude with glasses need to heavily improved on his customer service skills. Literally ignored me as I was standing there for 10mins trying to place an order. He didn’t seem to care and had a right face on. Kept interrupting me as I was trying to talk, someone needs to teach him some manners. And I ask for sauce and he just chucked them and walk off.

Never had a problem with the food me and my partner order. It's at least 1 a week we order as it's always that nice. Today it was not the case. It's like the food had been sitting there for ages and boxes had soaked through and fell apart and fries was squashed and soggy. The piri piri chicken I had wasn't cooked properly and was still pink. Verry upset and would really like a response as to why this is and hopfully a discount for our next order.

Have ordered from chickeb spot numerous times. Tonight however i placed an order at just gone 6.30pm and didnt have it delivered until 9pm. Which is ridiculous. When phoned up the restuarant the first time they said it will be with us shortly. 45mins later still no food. So phoned back for them to say that the order didnt get printed. So had taken even longer. Very disappointed. I think the driver expected a tip. But didnt get one due to the length of time it took!

worse food ever, i ordered normal panini and their gave me the nigela bread
