Chicken peri peri in Stroud

Really tasty food and very friendly, helpful staff. Chips were especially amazing. Can get busy at peak times but worth the wait.

I had the peri pitta meal with bacon and cheese. 100% better than nando's for taste and value for money. Will definitely be coming again

Turned up late, had to complain to get a new time, no notification that it’s was running late. Would recommend better communication between the restaurant and delivery driver to estimate a better time if there’s a problem. Food was just about warm enough and that’s being polite...

Pedí hace unas semanas desde aquí y la comida nunca llegó (esto sucedió dos veces) Llamé cortésmente pidiendo una nota de crédito (de 30) en lugar de un reembolso que pedí y nunca recibí (de alrededor de 33+). Pedí una hamburguesa con solo queso y champiñones y no pedí ninguna salsa, muslos de pollo con mango y lima, papas fritas Curley y maíz, 2 alas de barbacoa que llegaron a menos de 30, así que pedí que se agregaran latas de Río para compensar el crédito. Llegó y me dieron Fanta y coca cola en lugar de Río y mi hamburguesa tenía salsa que no pedí y los muslos de pollo no eran mango ni lima. Pensé que al ser la tercera vez que intentaba obtener mi reembolso, habrían tenido más cuidado y esfuerzo en mi pedido. No ordenar desde aquí nuevamente: (

Not delivered. 50 mins late so far. Struggle to get phone answered. It's on the road not long left shop. No explanation or apology.

I ordered a can of Vimto and didn't receive it or a replacement, was told 'order 2 next time' at the door, but because the burger was also wrong and didn't have blue cheese on at all when it was supposed to there's not going to be a next time. Peri Peri charge far too much to give out soggy, lukewarm food that isn't even correct.

I have no idea why but the wraps were really subpar this evening, the taste has completely changed and they were extremely dry. I’ve had these wraps since 2016 and this evening they were the worst I’ve tasted, have been completely put off of ordering again, didn’t even want to complain as really didn’t want to taste another wrap after this. Also if you’re thinking of ordering just before they close, don’t! They’ll miss things off your order and you can’t call them to mention it, last time I ordered there were only 3 items and one of them was missing and had ingredients that I paid extra for missing. Don’t bother.

We orderd a full chicken and they couldn't even be bothered to cut the chicken breast up. We had two leg pieces and two breast pieces still togther. The peri peri spicey rice was sweet. There's not a single complementary sauce.

Absolutely great food. Drinks are often short stocked but the chicken is second to none. If you think you can do hot chicken... You haven't tried this place.

Ordered a takeaway from this place and it was absolutely disgusting everything was dry no sauce with sweet potato fries wouldn’t order again

Cool burger bar with Marvel interior and superhero themed menu. I had the Hancock burger - beef pattie, pulled pork, cheese, tomato sauce, peri peri sauce and salad. Weird but good, really good. The cheesy fries were good but need more flavour. I just walked in and ordered and won’t do that again. The diners were nearly done but there were loads of online orders and one guy picked up 6 bags of burgers! I waited 30-40 minutes to get mine, so not ideal for a lunch break. I’d go back though. It was really, really yum.

I ordered roast beef dinner and crunchie cheesecake. My food arrived well presented and packaged as well as being hot (so no need to reheat). The gravy was delivered in separate pots so the dinner wasn’t mushy and it even had roast parsnips and stuffing 😀. Pudding to die for. I totally recommend this establishment.

This was always a great traditional chippy and very good. You could imagine Laurie Lee getting his grub there.... Walked in today and there was an overwhelming odour of rancid fat. £1.60p charged for a small cone of chips which tasted odd and stale. Never again.

food never arrived, had a phone call at 22:40 to say driver was looking for my house, so said I’d go out on the road to find him, seen no vehicles and tried ringing the shop 8 times over a 20 minute period and had no answer. expecting a full refund.

35 minutes late delivery , order was wrong - gave us the wrong sides ended up with 3 portions of chips. Also the garlic bread says ‘super slabs’ yet I only had one piece of garlic bread and for £2.50 that was a RIP OFF! Food was cold too.

over an hour late when i called to chase was advised it was just busy and it'd be there "soon" took another 35 minutes after that call spicy rice was 10000% uncle bens microwave rice when they finally delivered my food there was no apology and they didn't even have the drink i ordered poor. not ordering again considering my food was meant to be delivered at 9:30 and when it finally was delivered it was 10:45 :)))

Went there a month or so ago at the beginning of the dinner service and were served chicken which was very tough and bone dry. No sauce, barely any seasoning. It was bad. The sides were ok but the chicken was practically inedible. When we asked if the chicken was made fresh we were assured it was. Then, after showing the chicken to the waitress she agreed that the chicken should not look like that. The manager was apparently out at that moment but after talking to him on the phone she said he agreed to not charge us for any of our meal, which was the best course of action in the circumstances - and that he would speak to the chef/cook about the chicken. We were glad we did not have to pay for that meal (as we didn't eat most of it) but we were very disappointed as we had travelled from Gloucester to eat there based on prior TripAdvisor reviews. Ended up going a few doors down to the local kebab shop and had a nice chicken shish meal. We watched them grill the chicken from scratch right in front of us. Will not be visiting Chicken Peri Peri again.

Ordered for a delivery on a Saturday Coke cola was forgotten. Food was just about warm. Chips weren't edible. Some were hard some were soggy. There was like a bone or something in my chips that shouldn't have been in there. For £17+ the food looked terrible. Will not be ordering from this place again. Such a waste of money. VERY unhappy customer.

Food was great as expected, however ruined by the rude delivery woman that criticised my instructions to my house on the phone. She told me they were wrong but on closer inspection they weren't. I live in amberley so its difficult to direct at the best of times, without someone criticising you over the phone when you've just paid them for a service, very poor and will not be ordering again. I'm pretty sure I heard swearing outside my house as well (my window was open) before and after delivery. Not professional and unpleasant for the neighbours.

Food was lovely but restaurant added 20mins to the order time and was still 15 mins late. Second time that has happened now and is very frustrating. Ended up waiting an hour and a half for food.

Just terrible. Food was 55 minutes late. Items missing. Burgers so overdone that they were like shoe leather and yet cold so we had to reheat in the oven. Delivery driver used the 'F' word in front of my 11 year old son, and then proceeded to walk across the garden and jump the wall, rather than using the path and gate like a normal human being!

I've always enjoyed my take away from Chicken Peri Peri, I order from it quite often but twice now (not twice in a row) they've missed my cans of coke off my order. Very disappointing not to receive my drink with my meal.

The food was really really quick even though they kept delaying the delivery time, food was really nice but the chip were horrible they were cold, hard and just gross. The side salad was pretty pathetic but I was that bothered about that, but my main was fantastic

Rang for Sunday dinner for collection. Friendly staff. Was ready and waiting for me. Good quality food at a reasonable price. Will be eating there again!!!

The food took over an hour to arrive and when it did we had three servings of chips, all of which were cold. The chicken we got as medium and it was not spicy at all. The salad was okay not worth 9£ the beef burgers were good though.

Feel customer service is letting them down and the fact they had only one driver available on a Friday night. This i feel needs reviewing in order to improve customer service!

My brothers Caesar salad had burnt chicken in it and the fries were cold

Third time I've ordered and something has been missing. First was the sour cream with my sweet potato fries, 2nd time was coleslaw and this evening was gravy. Instead they gave me extra chips .... I would have ato east expected a call to ask if I wanted something different if they had run out. Also my order was 45mins late meaning it was 2hrs from ordering to being delivered. Coleslaw is excellent though and can tell it is home-made.

Second time I've ordered. Really disappointed with the quality both times and I will never order again. Chips are awful, like cardboard, gravy very watery and the corn in the cob really dry. You could tell all the food had been sitting out and not at all fresh.

Let's start with the quality of the food. Now the chicken wrap looked succulent and tender, but not being the one eating it I couldn't possibly tell you how it tasted, now I'm the chicken goujons, delicious, brilliant if I must say so, man would order dem tings all day fabulous restaurant service was sublime. Delivery came too quickly so food was undercooked (chips). We requested a time not ASAP and it came half hour early so we were not ready for it so food went cold and wasted. If selected ASAP I would understand quick delivery but if select a time it would be appreciated if that was kept to as it was chosen for a reason. We may not have been home and ordered in advance for when we were due home, what would have happened to our food then? Appreciate quick delivery but not when food was rushed to be cooked so then wasn't completely cooked through. I would have waited longer to get cooked food.

The chef forgot to put my main in the bag. Applause where it's due.. he remembered my husband's meal. A 50% success rate there. An hour after my husband finished his meal and after I had gorged myself on the Roman feast that was my side of coleslaw... my "hunters chicken" arrived. A cold overcooked chicken breast covered in thick gloopy bbq sludge, undercooked bacon and a slice of processed Orange cheese. My delivery driver assured me I could receive a free meal next time... with a straight face. Bless him, he did well.

They extended the delivery time by 30 mins but then were an additional 30 mins later! We rang the restaurant and were asked 'what do you want us to do?' Chicken on bone was good but butterfly chicken was extremely dry and hard bit disappointed. I would order again but not the butterfly chicken. Corn was good, coleslaw good, sweet potato fries a bit bland compared to other places.

Food was average. Hugely disappointed to find Mayo all over my burger as no option to remove, assumed there would be none. Ordered plain chicken but it wasn't at all.

Very disappointed with my order. It took ages to get here, and then was not the quality I have received before. The coleslaw was turning bad and tainted. My chicken wasn't up to the usual standard had a strange texture to it, and the peri peri fries were soggy and hardly seasoned. I usually love the food from here but feel totally let down by this order.

Visitamos aquí con mi hija como un montón de cosas geniales oímos el lugar, muy gratamente sorprendido, la comida era increíble, yo opté por el limón pollo mientras mi hija tenía el enrollado de pollo con salsa de peri peri, las porciones eran grandes y una gran relación calidad-precio. Cuando llegamos y caliente buena pinta en el plato cuando llegamos. No tuve que esperar mucho, teniendo en cuenta que había unos cuantos esperando por la comida. La señorita que estaba embarazada era educado y amable y no podía hacer más, muy profesional en todo momento y siempre sonriente. Hizo nuestra nuestra visita muy placentera y agradable. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar.
