Chicken Hut Ilford in Redbridge

The chilli sauce is the stand out here.... so are the prices. Place is cheap, and decent food. I dropped in whilst there was a train delay, got Chicken Fillet burger and 2 wings meal. The chilli sauce made me go backk and try 2 pieces chicken annd chips, and again the chill sauce stood out.

We ordered chicken biriyani. But in taste it likes boiled rice & chicken only. Dried rice, just normal rice boiled with Turmeric power & salt. Not recommended.

Absolutely disgusting! Would give no stars if I could. Feel sick to my stomach bad smell and taste unhygienic staff wearing tracksuits with hair and beard all over the place even as I was placing my order there was someone there complaining about the food. Avoid at all costs!

I have taken chicken biriyani and just before taking i got bad smell that its not cooked that day and i have asked him twice whether it is cooked today or not ! He nicely said yes but its not! Very bad smell when we heat at home and i was trying to call to that number but its not connecting! Very bad taste I took the video and i will not leave them until i get my refund!

Disgusting! Chicken pieces meat was dark and had black patches as if bruised or frozen for a long time. The seasoning was literally like wallpaper paste peeling off. The chicken had a off smell as if expired. The fries tasted half cooked and tasted awful. Both Chicken pieces and wings tasted old and cold. The cheapest quality ketchup, mayonnaise and chill sauce money can buy.. Dirty tables, dirty walls, dirty bins How they are still open I don't know, most likely because of the £1.50 burger and £2.99 biryani..

They sell bad food which is not for eat and not good for health.

If I could them a 0 i would I recently visited this shop and was disappointed by its poor hygiene. The floors were dirty, the shelves were dusty, and there was an unpleasant smell. Not the best place for a meal. Rude staff and stinking attitude . 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬man with a pony tail specifically

It doesn’t deserve a one star rating because the food hygienic was very bad.I found a hair on my chicken and plus the chicken was expired and weird taste.The man with the glasses was very rude when he was cooking the food he was laughing and smiling. The shop need to be shut down because they could of made us really I’ll and have food poisoning and I have really young kids that could of been I’ll .

Disgusting customer service specially the old guys in glasses, i was waiting for my friend he was on call to come so we can order together, but the guy shouted on me , that u cant sleep in a very rude way ,is this is the behaviour that u guys talk to customers? I came regularly here i live here near .but now never im gonna come back here. pls look after that old glasses guys , atleast teach him how to talk with the customer. Thank-you.

I went to this chiken hut last week I ask for a chiken wrap meal the food was so nice and yummy the only thing is the meal said 4.00 I end up paying 5.49 a part from that the meal was large you guys are better then that dixy next door I will come back here again. Thank you

Ordered wings and chips. They were okay, pretty average, though the mayo it came with tasted weird. Overall, mediocre.

Chicken was very dry and hard..

My family thought about going to KFC which always has the best chicken but we decided to try here. Terrible. Just terrible. We ordered a family bucket and the chicken was literally soggy and dripping with oil. We couldn't even finish the chicken because of this. They told us that it would take 10 mins for our food to be ready but it took exactly 22 mins. Unimpressed. On the bright side, the fries were good. But that's the only good thing I can say.

I was amazed with the friendly service and the value of money. The rice and fried chicken was wonderful with fresh salad. I loved it.

I went today..we ordered family bucket and full peri peri chicken..family bucket was ok..but peri peri chicken was terrible and disgusting..staff took the chicken from freezer and he heated the chicken and gave it to us..the chicken is not hot enough..it was cold and it was not spiced properly,when I tasted small piece..it was horrible the chicken smells bad,and tastes bitter....i think the chicken was spoiled one..it was not fresh chicken..we return the chicken..but the staff was not convincedfor what we said..he shouts at us very badly...it was a poor chicken shop..the quality of the food is very horrible...please don't go there..it was waste of money and the staff was very disrespectful...

Waste...i order for peri peri chips...just sprinkled on few top layer chips...that to hardly can see...n tomuch ketchup in my burger...they carry tomuch negative attotude....

I remember when they first opened, I thought I'd check them out as they were competing with the Dixy's next door. I ordered a chicken popcorn box to takeaway, didn't think much of it, went home, opened the box and I kid you not they put 8 small chicken popcorns in the takeaway box. It was rattling because of how much space there was in the box. This was when they'd first opened so that was their best impression. Anyway go to the Dixy's, better and actually give proper portions

Their food is great and the service is good. The sanitation on the other hand. They dont actually clean up the mess on the table. You have to tell them ti.

The peri peri was shit and it looked like as if the guy only put the sauce in the wings and served it it was nasty

Pros • Prices are just as cheap as Bites • The place is very spacious, brighter than Bites and very reasonably clean (whilst Bites is a rubbish heap) Cons • The chicken and chips at Bites tastes quite a lot better. You can go up to four stars by not overcooking chips and not making the chicken batter so thin and overcooked. Buy some chicken and chips from Bites and try to copy the way they make it. I think Bites tried to copy your interior but those slumdogs totally failed, hah. Copy their good food quality, succeed and you can go up to a whole four stars!

Best chicken I ever had. One of the best fried chicken in town. You try.
