This is my first vist and shall be the last. I ordered the box meal for £8.50. The fillet chicken burger was cold, it is not even a real chicken breast fillet. The chips were soggy, cold and re-heated. As for the chicken fillet strips they were terrible, stale and tasteless. This is expensive for poor quality products being sold to customers definitely not good value for money. I waited around 5-10 mins for my order to be ready. The store hygiene level is well below standard, the tables are not cleaned when customers leave, dirty trays are wiped without sanatising are served to customers again. I have been suffering with a terrible stomach ache. The local Council needs to visit the store as well the Food Standards Agency. I would advise customers to stay well away from this shop.

It was so bad experience with this restaurant I am an old customer there, but recently everything has become terrible. Actually I started no longer go to them unless there is no one else open, especially at night. Every time the order is the same and the price is different every time. Other than that, look at the pictures, they will explain to you what I mean. Of course, I ordered grilled chicken, and the result was chicken with blood. If I hadn’t taken care of this, it would have been easy for me to get salmonella. And this was the result.

Chicken Cottage is Chicken Cottage. Fried chicken and peri salt fries. Have only had their wings and chicken, so can’t speak about the rest of the items on the menu. What I had; was just as I expected it to be.

On a recent visit. Decent prices for this day and age. Always a nice smile on the face. They accept card payments for any amount. I would recommend them no doubt.

I made an order Yestetday of 2 full peri grilled chicken it was just skin on bone and the pieces were so tiny I ordered it for my visitors made me so embarrassed and ashamed

Not recommend this the Pakistan personnel answer for my question by Pakistan language. Also, I was waiting for 15 min for chicken meal than just getting my money back and never visiting this place again!

I bought online some food but I bought cookie dough they called and never had any and changed my option to brownies and gave me an extra wrap for the miscommunication amazing service very nice worker thanks for the kind gesture I will 100 percent revisit thanks

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE UK

Friendly and efficient staff despite the fact that they deal with some of the most difficult customers. Always quite busy! Good portions and fresh food, very competitively priced.

Wings are so clean and tasty buy these and use kfc supercharger sauce you’ll be happy 😃 need to be collected don’t get delivery

I ordered this on Uber Eats. Whole Peri-Peri Chicken Lemon and Herb with a Portion of chips and a Drink. The chips were unseasoned and tasteless, 1/5. The chicken was not Lemon and Herb Flavoured, It tasted of nothing. 1/5 The chicken itself was horrible quality, dry and flavourless. 1/5. They burnt the chicken, which amplified how horrible the meal was, due to the lack of flavour, dryness and then to top it off, being burnt. Do not order Grilled chicken from here, I ordered the same thing from another branch ( Finchley Road ) and it was great, and came with pitta, lemon wedges, banana peppers inside a container for each chicken piece, BUT THIS BRANCH, did not include any of these. Disgusting.

My last visit was disaster and very disappointing I went there and the door was locked Staff was inside but they refused to open the door at 1230 pm even though they were supposed to open it 11am Very bad and unprofessional attitude Logged in complaint Hope it won’t happen again

They must be more careful about hygiene. Nails must be cuted and they MUST not touch money/anything else and food the same time. Sanitise your hand each time touching money ant machine, then touch food 😷 Not touch keyboard and food same time. Nails nails nails please. The man working here today either is deaf and blind or simply can’t follow simple instructions. I came here on my lunch break from work, ordered a thigh and chips with two wings. Got back to the office only to see 5 wings and chips. He even looked back at the chicken and said “yeah we have thighs” when I placed my order so I’m confused as to how he managed to make such an error. He also asked if I wanted ketchup and mayo to which I said yes, only for him to give me BBQ sauce and mayo. The chips were pulled from the oil too soon as some of them are still hard. The entire experience has totally annoyed me. I will not be returning.

This chicken shop is not my local but its worth the journey for me as these guys represent what a chicken shop should be. Im not saying the food has the best taste ever but the atmosphere, service and pricing is incredible especially considering the tough times we are in. Everyones go to meal is the chicken steak and lamb burger with peri chips for £2.50. Its prepared fresh, tastes delicious and is priced really well. They even throw in free food sometimes and always look after the local homeless people. 10/10 shop.

Myself and girlfriend went here a week or so ago. I had the chicken on bone and girlfriend had the wrap. Next day she got SEVERE food poisoning causing multiple trips to hospital lasting a week. Even the doctor said it came from a bacteria found in dodgy chicken. This was the only chicken she’d eaten for a while. AVOID

The spice chips was the best in London

This was my go to place. All the prices have been doubled recently and the special deals no longer exist. Staff used to be so friendly and welcoming before. Seems like something has changed.

The food was delicious! I had the grilled chicken burger and it was very good. The fries were also very tasty and the quantity was quite big so it’s a good value for money. I waited around 5 mins for my order to be ready. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative thing is that the tables were dirty.

Hi. I’m here to give a completely honest review of Chicken Cottage (Kilburn). We have all had that moment when we read reviews and contemplate if they’re legit or not. That’s why I’m here to help. I have eaten from here multiple times and in general, the food is great. However, I’ll go in-depth. Chicken fillet burgers: This burger is absolutely delicious. The bun is extremely soft and has a delicious taste and texture. The chicken is great, as well as the crust around it. The size of the burger is pretty big, larger than your average burger, which you can’t complain about. The lettuce has no distinguishable taste, which isn’t much of a big deal, but it adds that slight crunch and tang and it elevates the chicken fillet. Honestly, the combo of the soft bread, crunchy lettuce, and succulent chicken just makes this burger what it is. Highly recommend it. Mayo gives it that extra juiciness, you could add cheese too. You could also remove things like lettuce and mayo. Just tell the people and they will non hesitantly cater it to your liking! If I had to rate this out of 10, I’d give it a 9.5, or a 9.8 on a good day. It isn’t a 10 because it depends on how the person cooks it, sometimes the chicken could have a delicious outside crust but a dry and not so flavourful inside and the inverse. But, if you want a simple and flavourful burger, this one is definitely for you. The price is reasonable for it’s quality, definitely better than a lot of other chicken shops. Grilled chicken burger: An authentic, non-breaded or fried taste. The chicken is delicious and soft and easy to eat. If you don’t prefer fried things and just want a good and real chicken burger, this is a classic and the best choice for you. Solid 9/10. Chicken wings: I’ve tried 3 wings, the BBQ ones, the spicy ones and grilled. They’re all good but if I had to choose between the three, it’d definitely be the BBQ ones. The sauce covering it and the crunch of the wing collaborate perfectly. The wing is always the perfect texture and melts in your mouth. Warning though, if you can’t tolerate spicy things, this isn’t for you. First try eating these, the spice level shocked me, I needed a drink or two to recover from that shock. It’s not that I can’t handle spice, it’s just that I was expecting it to be less spicy but I was surprised. In general, the BBQ wings are delicious, succulent and a solid 9/10 Warning: the wings get messy, tissue won’t work if you want to wipe the sauce off because it will become sticky and have a strong smell reeking off of your hands. Either lick the flavour off, wash or sanitise them and THEN you can wipe with tissue. If they have any hand wipes, definitely ask for them beforehand. The spicy wings are good, nice crunch, could possibly be dry though. A bit stiff so you definitely have to get a good bite. Definitely a noticeable and strong spice too, not as extravagant as the BBQ ones, but still there. Still good though, I just highly discourage you to buy any spicy wings if you cannot tolerate spice. Unless you want to, of course. Don’t say I didn’t warn you though! In general, an 7/10 The grilled wings are a great choice if you like the taste of authentic, non-breaded and fried chicken. It’s extremely easy to bite and soft to chew. You can never go wrong with this. Not spicy and great for children or those who cannot handle spice nut still want some tasty wings. In general, a 8/10 The wraps taste like chicken burgers but in tortilla wrap, same description. The bread used to wrap is soft and great. The bbq wrap definitely is a no. The amount of sauce used is unbearable to the point that you cannot eat it anymore. There’s too much tanginess and it really isn’t something you should pick. Any other wrap is fine though. 100% avoid the BBQ wrap. Chips are dry, definitely not the best but the portions are large, doesn’t make up for it though. But the peri salt makes the chips better, it goes from 2/10 to a 6/10. Very spicy though! So beware.

I love the grilled chicken burger and the peri peri chips. But regarding the delivery I had many issues. Many times missing or wrong items delivered. Uber doesn't allow me to ask for anymore refunds and it's always because this restaurant did a bad delivery to me.

The mess up orders twice in a 2 days had to wait 30 mins to get it right. Start preaching about some religion I have no interest for and saying how England is a dump it’s a mess. Then get upset when you say if you don’t like it go home.

Just ordered off Uber eats and my food all came cold, the bag wasn’t sealed great. I rang the restaurant and they said they can’t do anything as it Ubers responsibility to arrange refunds (joke) I had to Microwave my food. I had like a few bites and through it away. Never will I order from this place again. USELESS. I didn’t even want to give 1 star if I’m being honest.

My boyfriend went here yesterday, had one of your burgers and got severe food poisoning. The chicken is apparently not too bad usually but steer clear of the burgers.

Horrible service, the lady that served me charged my card for £79695.45 (my actual bill was £7.96) when I told her about it she blamed it on me, to follow the burgers weren’t properly cooked and the chips were cold and she forgot one of my meals. Wouldn’t recommend at all.
