Service was nice 5/5 Piyush , beardboy, goan guy did really good job Chilly paneer 4/5 Masala papad - it is not what we think papadam 3/5 Maysur masala dosa 5/5 Chees masala dosa 2/5 Paneer dosa 5/5 All over i like it staff is polite but make sure what you order

Finally an honestly authentic South Indian dining experience. Best mutton biriyani that I have had. Would highly recommend the fish curry (especially those who like the tangy Tamil punch). Loved the Anjappar dry chicken and fried rice. Overall a great experience. Nice ambience and friendly service.

Had a delivery done yesterday. The food was fantastic - I am big fan of the chettinad style biryani and I have tried different varieties in my time. This is as authentic and as close you can get to one in London. Hands down a must try if you like chettinad style cooking.

They serve the worst food and it tasted like rubbish the food doesn't taste fresh and I think it is days old the manager lady is horrible. Giving one star because it's the least possible highly recommend choosing better places to eat.

After a long time found a restaurant that is truly Indian. Flavours on point. Appams were delicious. Must visit for south Indian cuisine lovers. And not to forget the staff who were so friendly and helpful.

Visited the restaurant for a birthday dinner, service was terrible it wasn't even busy. I just don't think they care, food was tasteless. A newly opened restaurant we had high hopes. All 7 of us were disappointed. Would not visit again or recommend. I'd be very surprised if it actually remains in business....

Biryani was really good when compared to last time and lots of improvement in taste and especially Mary is soo good in serving the food. Definitely it’s worth a visit.

Good Buffet ! But with different taste

So yummy food . Staff is so lovely and good service. Affordable and delicious. If you like spicy just tell them to make spicy and they made it so good. Even if it is not spicy it is delicious.

Went there for lunch buffet , liked the nonveg varieties and enjoyed the wonderful service by Mary and Ashwin ..

Good interior buy less tasty food

The service was excellent and we had a great waiter that helped us. However the food was not at its best because it was either expired or did not taste nice. In addition the buffet did not taste nice.

Flawless customer service. The food reminded me of my trip to India 10 YEARS AGO!!! Definitely coming back again and will be bringing my friends and family over.

We had a lovely time here. The food is spicy and traditionally cooked. Same level of spicy food that you get in any restaurant in Indian.... Loved it.

We went for buffet lunch to anjappar resturant in Wembley, it was very rasty and delicious I recommend all friends to taste it . Staff was very friendly and serve with friendly I am going to take all my friends again and book party

Food was amazing however, quality was not up to mark. Less number of waiters and it sort of felt like they were in rush.

Cramped seating, no comparison to the original Anjappar in Chennai. Sadly one more knock off on the name...

I have so much things to say. First of all Staff are out of coordination. Waited too long to get the menu even that got it after I asked for it. I see no interest in anyone to do the job. Waiters job you need passion if you desperate for money you can’t expect service. Cleaning the table after customer left is an important thing to do. Even that basic thing is lacking. Specially cleaning it with just tissue not going to help. wipe it with using some cleaning product. Hygiene in that case I would rate you zero. This place have so much tables. There are barley any space to move around. One lady keep apologising. She has probably been told to do so. Waited for 1 hour and never got the food. This restaurant is not ready for customer. Fix up or you guys will go out of business soon.

The food was very tasty and the service was exceptionally good. The staff were very friendly and the interior is also very beautiful. I would recommend going to eat here.

Very slow service. Food was ok 3/5. Could clearly see that the staff is struggling with orders. Been here before but quite disappointed on the first time, but wanted to give one more chance so came here for the second time. But the service is still bad. They have got wooden chairs and tables which are very uncomfortable to sit. Had to ask 4 times for my order. Even though we were the only people in the restaurant, they didn't bring the food even after 25min. Most of the items on the buffet were cold. Price was reasonable. But I won't recommend this place at this point of time. Hopefully they'll read all reviews and improve their service.

Food and all the staff were Amazing

We have been to this place with lot of excitement. Unfortunately it didn't last long. We were forced to take buffet, which is not tasty. Service is very poor. Non vegetarian starters were placed under vegetarian label. We were very disappointed that we were served non veg. Except couple of starters, nothing is tasty, few itemes are dry, couldn't eat. Hope hotel management takes this as positive to work on their services and improve the food quality. I wish all the best.

Had been here with my friends for dinner. The starters was decent. The main course took forever to arrive. The food didn't taste that good. Since it was late in the night at around 9:30 they served some dishes cold. The sweet was hard and some vegetables were really cold and hard.

Good service and tasty good. Adding to that, Special offer we enjoyed today (08/12/2019). Mary was very nice, served well. Will visit again for sure.

If u want spicy Andhra Style or proper spicy chettinad ... Please visit... In chilling weather their spicy vada sambar is a treat for tongue... Friendly staff and good service. If u are bored of Saravana Bhavan.. Then this is a place u should try

This is the only place in the whole of UK where you can get real non veg Chettinadu (Tamil Nadu) food. There was a time when I used to drive for hours to Eastham just to eat at the Anjappar there. I was gutted when the Eastham one closed. I am really excited that there is one in Wembley now. The food is amazing, but service leaves a lot to be desired, mainly because they are understaffed and are clearly new to running a restaurant. There is still a lot of work they need to do ensure to improve service, but I'd still give five stars because the cuisine and taste is spot on. I truly hope they succeed and improve the service over time. Update: The food has been disappointing during my recent two visits. Service had always been poor, now I dont have any more reasons to go to this place. I really wanted them to succeed, but they just dont seem to care enough about service or the food. Sadly, I dont see this place staying open for long unless they make drastic changes.

We had tasty dinner indeed. We tasted some of the authentic chettinad curries and really exceeded my expectations. Service was great specially Mary and the Manager who were very friendly. I would suggest Anjappar chettinad to anyone who likes spicy food with great taste. We would go and try the lunch buffet next time.

Food is average. Service is very slow. Food only came an hour after we gave our order. My uncle ordered anjappur virunthu meal and suffered from diarrohea.

I went here with my colleagues. The taste of the food is good. I even spoke to the owner/manager who assured me some more staple/signature chettinad dishes such as kuzhipaniyaaram were coming soon. However, the service was quite disappointing. The servers seemed quite inexperienced and confused. Also, this place serves dishes that have very 'Tamil' names and quite honestly, the servers couldn't pronounce them. Not a big deal, but I was hoping for some Tamil speaking people. 😆

Very poor food quality and atrocious service

Amazing food with delicious cuisines.

Travelled 30 minutes to get to this place. Arrived at 5pm Sunday (they open 11.30 am to 10.30 pm), walked in and got told they were closed. Then I got shouted at by staff when I asked for a takeaway menu. Same as some other reviews here, I haven't tried the food and this place is already 1 star.

Very nice food , traditional taste and very affordable prices

Me and my husband had Went to dine on 18th October 2019 for dinner around 7:45 pm to this restaurant. Had ordered Chicken Tikka for starters and Main course - Chicken Dum Hyderabadi Briyani , Panner Butter masala and 1 portion parotta. They served the Briyani before the starters they say it's dum Briyani but seems to be regular Briyani which is a first let down. Then they served the starters which was okay. They completely forgot the rest 2 items. But they bill for everything and portray as if they had served all what we ordered. After complaining to management they are suggesting that they will make a take away of the dishes which weren't served say around 9:15 pm. What about the time wasted and the hunger lost. Can they do anything about it. Pretty Bad experience I would say. Very poor communication with the staff among themselves. When asked the management they simply say we are newly opened hence the mistakes. I don't how long they are gonna portray this reason for an escapism instead of honestly checking on their issues. To anyone who does not want to have a bad experience I would highly recommend not to dine in here as it's a waste of your time and money.

Went very excitedly. Ordered our food - almost everything we wanted the waitress would say no without checking. Food came so late - it was not crowded to begin with. Food was alright - the fish curry was yummy , otherwise all was average. While eating , we gave some take away orders - waited an entire hour..because the waiters forgot. No one apologised . The service is really Poor . Really upsetting.

Great food. Visited this restaurant with a friend and definitely intend to come again. We tried the buffet menu - mutton curry and chicken curry were the highlights. Very well cooked, no smell and authentic taste. Naans and dosa served on table. Rolls were tasty. Daal and plain rice were just as it would taste like at home. Rasam and sambar - absolute authentic. Loved the kesar sheera - cooked in ghee - it was yummy!

Went on Sunday. Only buffet. Poor service, no quality. Not worth the money. Don't get carried away by the name.

Enjoyed the Authentic Chettinad Treat- Virundhu Meals on a Anjappar Claypot this afternoon with Family. Newly Decorated and creative concept:Very Nice and tasteful thoughts applied on every single aspect. Tantalizing buffet with hot starters , Naan and Dosa served upon request to your table . We the whole family enjoyed that Nostalgic effect.

12 Oct 2019 ordered some food around 1.30 pm and we haven't got it till 2.45pm and they were just telling it's getting ready. Finally walked out without having Food..Food might be good (others who had food may comment), but they don't really value time of others.
