very very rude staff , they talk very rudely specially the manager the guy is very rude , he fights with customer and we also saw fighting with delivery drivers too , thanks but hes rude and very worst behaviour i have ever got in chicken cottage in my life

I ate here after 16 years to refresh my student life memory but very disappointed. After spending 40 pound with family I asked for napkins and staff looked at me as I asked for her kidney. One under age boy working behind the counter with food behaving like boss in house. Over all I not impressed

Went their last week it was late they were about to close they served me but gave me old chips not happy at all. The chips were stale and smelling. Will never go back again..Much better chips with wok and karahi try them.

Ordered a spicy chicken burger meal via Uber Eats, for a quick convenient bite, it defo hits the spot. However the service is poor at best! They had forgotten to add in the dips in a previous order, so i called in and ended up listening to a male employee who refused to give me his name, arguing with me that the invoice he had in front of him showed no payment for the dips. He admitted this was a common problem with the ordering system for Uber but insisted it was my problem and issue to take up. My invoice and order clearly showed what I had ordered and paid for. I know we are in a cost of living crisis but really 10 minutes of arguing for a 50p dip?!?!?! A lil professionalism and courtesy goes a long way!

29/11/2023 between 01:05am-01:20am I ordered 2 spicy fillet burger and chips which was like £10 paid by apple pay, i come home one of the burger had long hair on top of the burger and they both smelled like garlic 🤢 and as you can see one of the burger is all pink from inside and smelled horrible of garlic. I had to bin both of the burgers to avoid getting food poisoning. I would like to get my money back reply to this and I will remove this once my refund is received.

I have ordered of uber eats and there peri peri chicken lemon herb it is honestly the best chicken i have ever eaten freshly prepared.

I been ordering from chicken cottage alot, ordered 2 spicy chicken burgers and omg they was so spicy is wasnt even like how they used to make it they definitely added way more chili powder or something wasnt enjoyable, go back to original recipe

Been to Chicken Cottage Southall Today. Absolutely gutted, 35 minutes for just a Grill burger and when it arrived it partially Burnet no taste whatsoever and chips were also reheated. I was a fan of Chicken cottage of Southwoodford and expected same quality but Southall let me down big time.

I think they reheated old chicken which was awful, dry and very hard!! Wasted my money and will never go back!!

I usually order bbq wings from this branch every week or twice since it’s better in taste than other branches but I’m really upset to hear that prices have become to expensive for 5 pieces of wings usually it’s a pound difference from Uber eats to actually going in store to order and now it’s gonna up £7.50 for just 5 wings like this is really expensive not included the delivery and service which I’m not complaining about the food prices have gone way up for less amount of food. I’m really disappointed.

I would've rated 1 1/2 stars. The food came quite early but it did not taste as good as the chicken cottage I normally go to (which is local). The infrastructure and hygiene seemed appalling. This place certainly needs improvements and it's also not in a good standard as the one I normally go to!

Nice food with good meal deals. The mountain Burger is awesome. Usually open til late and the owner is a nice guy but sometimes the food is abit hit and miss. Usually better late evenings as its more likely to be freshly made. One thing is they put way too many chips imo the pic only shows about half my portion Also thought i would add the shops been recently refurbished so looks much nicer inside now than before.

Popped in today to get kids some burgers/kids meals. Great customer service, 10 minute wait for our order and toilets available which was great for kids! Food was fresh, tasted great so happy kids!

Stopped off late at night on the way back home. Had a mountain burger, service is fast and food was delicious. They clearly know how to make great tasting chicken. Would go again and would definitely recommend.

Very well made food and excellent customer service. Good deals for students and I treated myself to a steak burger and chips which me and my mother both loved. Would recommend students to come here for the well valued deals.

Worst customer service...the lady who was serving was very rude

This place isn’t a fast food but worse then a restaurant when it comes to serving. Very slow service. Takes ages to get a meal. The staff seem like they don’t like working and are only forced to work for the sake of working. I would recommend going to any other chicken shop in southall and avoid this place. Bad customer service i ever had in my life . I went late and i do respect of government guidelines that they are not serving food after 11 pm but, there are always some respect of customers those who coming. I never heard from any staff member that they saying they are not interested to serve customer. This is exactly what, one of staff their staff member ( name - ab**** ) said to me. Which is totally disappointed and disrespectful. Less star was 1 but from my side is double zero customer service. Rude behaviour and bad attitude staff. If you want diarrhoea this is definitely the place for you. The food handling and hygiene is absolutely NIL 0. This place needs to be closed down. I used love chicken cottage but this branch just gives it a bad name!!

Placed a order. Waited for a hour only to have my order cancelled by them. I called them and their reason for cancelling my order was there were busy. So why accept the order and waste my time I asked, he then said he would check but then put the phone down on me. Called back a few times but no response. Worst service ever don't waste your time ordering from them.

i ordered a chicken fillet burger and they make it ready in less then 5 mins i was surprised that how come its ready so quick i checked fries they were fresh and i thought burger must be fresh because i trust the name but after i reached my work and about to eat i was shocked because the burger she gave me was hard and dry and not fit to eat, i called the number to complain but no one answer the phone and now after reading the reviews i understand that this shop only sell dry and stale food.

Absolutely dreadful service and quality. You ask for a burger and they completely drown it in mayonnaise, even when you specify not to. They give burnt and refried hash browns on the burgers too, and cold fried passed off as fresh. Useless place. No wonder is always empty.

If I could, I'll give it 0 start. Went there with a friend and my 2 kids. Order our food, I wanted to use the toilet to change my daughter's nappy, the "manager" didn't allowed me just because the locker wasnt working. I opened the toilet and he went inside and switched off the light, dirty guy. I run outside and changed my daughter outside, as he gave me no choice. Refused to serve the food ive paid for and give the money back. I then, had to called the police. What a shame to go out on a Sunday with your kids to get a service like this. I'll never come back this place. What a perve and dirty man.

It is so nice. Berfore, it did not look good as it didnt look clean but now they changed it and made the place a good place. The food is amazing. The chicken is crunchy, juicy and delicious. It is so nice that i would die for it (jk) but it is truly amazing and probably the best fast food i have ever had

The best branch of chicken cottage there is. Late opening hours as well and plenty of parking nearby. Their chicken wings are better than any of the other chicken cottages.

Good fried chicken but the woman serving has such a bad attitude makes you angry by the time you get your order. Not even sure she washes her hands after cleaning tables or mopping the floor before serving again. Charges 20p extra to put chips in a box rather than paper bag. The bloke on the other hand. Chilled and has respect.

Anyway getting back to my order,we ordered some chicken wings and chicken pieces. We literally had to beg him to add a extra chicken wing to our order as it didn't meet the fixed price list because of 1 chicken wing, he hesitantly agreed to put in the extra wing (although we never checked out of good faith)He put the items in the bag when it was ready, to my shock he gavegave it to my without even asking if I wanted any sauce. Again I had to ask all he gave was 2 chilli sauce dips,no ketchup mayonnaise.we spent about £13 but it has left a terrible impression on me that's why the long review? The food wasnt cold byt it wasn't great not of a expected standard. It's not a personal attack as I have family who have a background in the food industry. I hope the franchisee reads this and , sorts this out before his business go under.

ordered happy deal meal and chicken wing, took the food home and i noticed there was one piece extra, when i openend it, it was very dry to the extent that i couldnt even rip the chicken apart this is the second time that they have done this. i took the food back and showed her how bad it was,but rather then the lady at the counter saying sorry she threw the food in the bin and started to argue with me and telling me lies that the food was made right now and i told her to take the food out of the bin and check it properly then she told me not to come back. The staff was nice, but the chicken was a bit dry. I could just peel the “Crunchy layer” off. The fries were also a bit too salty. The restaurant itself was also a bit dirty. I think it was a nice restaurant for people who live in this neighbourhood, but I am used to things like KFC.

I wouldnt even give this a one star because i placed abd order was told 15 mins for the chicken wing! Ok kool no problem 25 mins past! Is my order ready yet no you have yo wait i replied back saying that i waited 25mins how much longer the guy had the nerve to tell me that you didnt wait 25mins at this point i ask for my money back first the man tells me hes not giving it back and when i say to him like the hell your not! He gives me my money back and tells me to come back! Dude do you know what customer service is? Like seriously? No respect at all for any of the customers! I pray for you guys to shut down! P.s you need lessions on how to tell the time plus customer service skill coz you dont have any skills.
