Chickaros in Birmingham

15 of us went for dinner. The service was very slow and it took an hour our drinks order to be taken. We ordered what we thought were alcoholic drinks but they turned out to be more like slush puppies which were £7 each. The food took another hour on top of that to arrive. The portions are large. We asked for some of the dishes not to be spicy and when the food turned up they were spicy. A lot of our party said their food was cold. My sister couldn’t eat hers so we swapped. We asked for the private room which was honoured. On reserving we asked if we could play our own on music and got told we could but when we got there got told we couldn’t. We complained about the drinks and they took those off the bill. We paid a deposit but when the bill came it hadn’t been deducted. We had to provide proof then they took it off. All in all wasn’t great and I wouldn’t recommend or go back.

Couldn't fault the food at this place, however the staff seemed unsure of what they should be doing, getting there attention when needed was sometimes difficult, however a major downside if you are arriving by car there is no parking outside. The nearest car park is the shopping area behind fox and goose pub, if you park there pay for at least 2 hours because you will need it

We were greeted by the lovely Sadia, she was very accommodating, funny and friendly. The food was delicious too! 10/10 x

large portion, food was good however inside wasn’t amazing really busy, food was decent and flavourful may return back in the future

The service was excellent and both Ree and Vienna were so great and helpful throughout our night and the food was delicious

HODGEHILL- i think her name is EESHA absolutely horrible customer service. i was ordering for both me and my partner completely ignored me and when i asked for salt she just dashed it on the table. WILL NEVER GO BACK. IM SO APPALLED BY HER ATTITUDE WHICH ALSO STANK. very very disrespectful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edgbaston Branch visited 27th December. I really wanted to enjoy this place especially as the Instagram Posts were so appealing. Unfortunately the food was very poor. My partner ordered the Kebabish Mania and was extremely disappointed to receive very cold, kebab meat smothered in a very cold sauce. The fries underneath were equally cold and rubbery, giving the impression they had been scraped off someone's plate. My 6 year old wanted a vegetarian hot dog but unfortunately they had none in the freezer. This restaurant is an unfortunate victim of social media that fails to deliver on quality and service. It could be so much better if the owner's took time to invest in better service and better chefs.

It was a bit pricey but it was worth every penny the service was great and will highly recommend to other people.

Very very bad experience. They was doing blackmail people. After eating when will you going pay they will tell you they Don't accept card, they only accept cash & bank transfer. It was very bad because they Don't mentions any or they dont tell anybody.

The service was outstanding and the hygiene was immaculate. Asked originally to eat in but ended up changing my mind and got it packaged to take out, it was done very well and efficiently by Abdullah who was very professional and extremely polite at the Hodehill branch. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone without a doubt!

We came birmigham for wedding shopping and stopped here for lunch, customer service was amazing from all the staff. One of the gentlemen working gave a fruit shoot complimentary to my baby sister. And the other staff kept checking if we were okay. One of the girls in particular ramisa was very lovely. Food was amazing and ill be back soon. Iv been chickaros multiple time on Ladypool Road and I have also visited West Brom branch to. The staff are amazing. We went on the day of our wedding as it was ramadan and broke our first fast together and the managers where just unbelievable nice. Best customer service iv received. Also the food as good as it look.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to sadia and the owner. Sadia you went above and beyond got me a cake for my birthday without me asking it was such surprise and a highlight to my evening. Seriously cannot fault the staff you all are so lovely Mashallah everything was amazing. I will visit alone just to see you all. Thank you again for making my birthday special don’t forget the date 17/06 I definitely will be sleeping with a smile on my face ❤️

Visited the Edgbaston branch...HUGE ERROR ! Will never return on approach staff were outside play fighting hands down his tracksuit bottoms smoking weed and clearly taking laughing gas from balloons etc with friends playing loud music from their cars we turned around and made a quick exit, it was like being in Smallheath these fools are serving food to the public....you've been warned AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE IF YOU RESPECT YOURSELF FRIENDS AND FAMILY !

What a fantastic meal! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. was a delicious meal. It was a very satisfying meal with amazing flavours. Fantastic service from all staff. Amo was amazing 10/10 service with smile. Will be visiting again.

We went to the Edgbaston one, which is fairly new. Good experience, very pretty and the parmo burger was unreal! It isn’t as heaving as Ladypool Road one, so I loved it. It’s good parking as well
