Definitely a place for a nicer occasion as it’s not cheap but I highly recommend this restaurant. The interiors and ambiance of the restaurant had a really buzzy and intimate feel to it. The food was fantastic, everything was cooked really well and had such interesting flavours. The menu had no meat on it but I didn’t even really notice - there were so many great sounding dishes anyways. I highly recommend the prawn roast, the tapioca marshmallow and the tuna&bean salad. Only negative was that the servers could’ve been slightly more attentive as we were having to get their attention to order etc. Still a great experience though!

This is a 5/5 for me and my friend. Be aware that you will spend around 80-90 each if you get starters. We experienced great and highly qualified service in a warm atmosphere. For us this is a restaurant that as great interior but also exceptionally good food. Only point that I could criticize is that some starters came very quickly. But afterwards the pace was excellent. Would recommend for a date night or special night out :)

Have always loved Pachamama restaurants in Marylebone and Shoreditch and wanted to try the sister fish restaurant. We weren’t disappointed, but we weren’t super impressed either. We had a vegan Pisco Sour which was great as well as Oysters with mango mignonette were exquisite. 👌👌They were the highlight of our dinner. The service and food were pretty good, however the ambiance wasn’t there as well as smelly toilet and a bit rundown exterior too.

Beautifully coal cooked sea bass with a hint of saffron was fish of the day, and probably the best I have tried. Fast service and attentive friendly staff made for over all brilliant experience, especially considering that I only went in for a quick afternoon coffee to start with. Loved the Japanese tea/coffee cups too.

What a wonderful experience of fresh seafood that was simply delicious! I've eaten a lot of cheesecakes in my lifetime, but the burnt cheesecake that is served here was simply sensational and by far the best I've ever had. We were served by Tatiana who was simply incredible. She was a wonderful server and extremely attentive. Our tasting menu and seafood platter hit the spot and couldn't fault any of the experience.

Average food and slow service charged at Michelin star price. 5 calamari rings with some yellow mayo @£14 - tomato tartare with maybe 50gr of otoro sashimi @ £25 ( taste of fish only) and 4 tentacles of Octopus that suppose to be Galician style, but taste like octopus in tomato pure @£44. Expensive wine that not even match the food. For someone that comes from the industry and knows margin you guys are ripping ppl off. I don't mine to spend money on food and drinks at all but spent £100 x head for 4 dishes and 3 gls of wine i would expect more of the wow effect bit instead I had more of the WOW that’s a rip off. Not worth the hipe.

Lunch with very little time. Would love to comeback here again and eat properly. The couple of things we had were excellent. On our to do list next time for sure. Maybe a bit pricier than usual, but the quality absolutely warrants the price level.

Went here for dinner over the weekend and it was outstanding, one of the rare 9+/10s on my London restaurants list. Had the tasting menu with a few starters on the side - highlights were the sesame prawn toast, spicy ceviche, crispy aubergine, tapioca marshmallow, and burnt cheesecake - so basically, everything. Would highly recommend, portion sizes are generous too.

Had a fantastic birthday meal here where we had the fish tasting menu. Two of our party had allergies which they dealt with really easily. ( Gluten and truffle allergies). Each course was perfectly pitched, delicious and proportioned as there are around 10 dishes that you try. Standout for me was the prawn toast, cerviche and burnt cheesecake but tbh all dishes were really great. Banging pisco sour cocktail as well. Highly recommend

I loved Chicama so much! My friend and my mom all had the tasting menu for roughly 60 quid each and our minds were blown. The flavours are unique, bursting at every bite, and it is just enough food! our favourite part was the giant fish they gave us at the end. The tapioca bites were also good and the aubergine was cooked and flavoured to perfection. I loved it here and can't wait to go back!

This spot can be a casual and dressy place. Great Vibe and service. Most importantly the menu is outstanding. This is my 5th time here and each time they have introduced new dishes, and it has always gotten better. The Sesame Prawn crackers from the new menu is delicious and so is the Bluefin Tuna Crudo. Overall, the seafood quality is next level. The whole fish and black rice is my all-time favorite. Will go again.

Just so delicious. Some of the nicest food I’ve ever eaten. No long waits for service, nor for the food itself. Really cosy restaurant with an open kitchen. Would come back in a heartbeat and eat it all again. It’s difficult to pick highlights from the dishes because they were all so good, but the black rice, octopus, and popped corn monkfish cheek deserve a special mention.

I took a friend out for her birthday and I have to thank the gentleman with tattoos who was very kind to both of us. He brought her a birthday dessert with a candle. It made her feel very special. Thank you sir. The food is very nice and I would recommend a visit on a special occasion. The atmosphere is also very warm. We sat by the bar and it feels even cosier than at a table.

Had a wonderful meal here this week. Not sure I’d call it Peruvian, but whatever pan latin inspired cuisine they were serving was delicious. Corn ribs seem so simple but bursting with flavor. Had the grilled monkfish tail from market list and paired with black rice with a hit of spice. Pisco sour was spot on. I was drooling as I watched them put together a seafood platter on my way out. Third time at Chicama. Last visit was for our anniversary dinner. Food was delicious as always. This time we ordered the set dinner at £60/person. It was good but we ended up ordering extra as we didn’t get to eat all our favourites. Next time we’ll stick to ordering what we want rather than the tasting menu. If you love sweet things you must try the fried Aubergine with plantain miso. Delicious!!! The last 3 pictures (the seafood platter, the skate fish and corn were from the second visit).

We had this restaurant on our list for ages so decided to try it. The ambience is lovely& romantic but the tiled floor adversely affected the acoustics. It was busy and it was hard to hear. The waiter was attentive and quite friendly. Our Kir Royales were awful but everything else was good. The food was unusual but delicious. My lemon sole was perfect. My partner’s octopus excellent too. Wine was good as was the Peruvian white cocktail. Happy customers in the restaurant said everything about it. Not cheap but worth the experience.

I was in Fulham and really fancied some seafood, but didn’t want the usual kind. So decided to give Chicama a go, already knowing of their sister restaurants. Personally I am always impressed when a cuisine is taken by a restauranteur who isn’t originally from that country. Chicama hits the spot with their Peruvian flavours. Very clever combinations of a little bit of Japanese and creativity to put together some insanely tasty “tapas” style dishes. I highly recommend going for the tasting menu, even if you’re alone (you can just buy each meal separate). The staff were incredibly friendly too, told me about the story of the restaurant and were very attentive. I highly recommend this spot - although I was there for lunch I suspect the evening time is best time to guy. They have great music and suspect also good drinks to accommodate the dinner. 👌👌👌

Our second time to Chicama. We attended last night as a mini business Christmas party and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing and, even for a Tuesday, it was a great vibe! Highly recommend the Octopus and Blackened Cod. The burnt cheesecake with jam was a great finisher. Service was a little slow in places though well worth the wait. Very friendly staff and it was cool to watch the food being prepared in the open plan set up. Thanks guys!

Seafood platter was to die for (best sea bass I’ve had) and broccoli and cauliflower were best I’ve also ever had. The taram was such a big and generous portion (massive bowl) so couldn’t finish it so be warned if only one of you having it! So tasty and light so can eat a lot of it but wow Just a delightful experience from start to finish. It gets busy (and loud) later in the evening though so would recommend going earlier

Had an excellent experience. Service from Corina and the team was first rate. They work well together. The cocktails were superb. The menu is served as a sharing concept so you can order as you go. Food is prepared very quickly. All dishes were delicous, if we had one small criticism, it would be that the octopus and the cavolo nero were a little too salty, but that may be down to personal taste. It's great to be able to watch the chefs at work. There's a lively atmosphere in the place. We recommend highly. This was our second visit and are looking forward to our next. We are working our way through the menu LOL.

For me, I'd say the food is excellent BUT well over priced, some of the dishes it's like if you're sampling food for a lot of money, waiters recommends you to buy more than what you should, they're trying to hamble the way the waiters dresses or the decore but that did not give me that. Really good experience for my first visit as well as my boyfriend’s birthday!! We usually always end up over-ordering at every restaurant we visit, and don’t always get to finish everything. I found it very thoughtful for our server to tell us that we were ordering too much, so that we could adjust what we ordered. He also gave us a wine recommendation, which went well with all the dishes. Throughout the entire night, service was amazing, and we left the restaurant full and very happy. For the food, everything was so full of flavour and we truly enjoyed every bite!!!! Our favourites were definitely the Tuna Crudo, aubergine and the seafood platter. I really can’t wait to re-visit.

A lovely birthday dinner celebration with my family!! We shared a few of the starters off the raw menu — do recommend the catch of the day tartare (ours was tuna (my favourite!)), the yellowtail crudo, and the salmon ceviche. And then to follow we shared the seafood platter with a side of grilled prawns (which may have been my best grilled prawns to date!). It was all delicious and the staff even brought out our pudding with a birthday card for me! A lovely location with brilliant food, that I’d recommend to anyone.

Back again - hadn’t been for a while. What a mistake. Must go more often. A fantastic atmosphere (don’t go if you want a quiet chat), very noisy, busy but excellent service nonetheless. The food was again amazing, the pisco sours zinging, Wanted everything on the menu, so went for the tasting menu again. So many spectacular flavours - the aubergine….the corn ribs….the sea-bass. My mouth is watering again! It’s also a treat to see all the chefs working away like crazy with such enthusiasm. We were the oldest people there by a country mile, but great chats with both our next door table neighbours. It’s a very friendly place. Fabulous.

The other evening, we visited this restaurant as my partner had made a reservation for us. We had heard about this place through a recommendation from a staff member at another restaurant within the same group. Unfortunately, the food here didn't quite meet our expectations, especially considering the prices. While I did enjoy the octopus and the ceviche, I've had better elsewhere. The service, on the other hand, was decent, although it lacked a certain liveliness. I must note that the polite gentleman with the glasses stood out and provided a pleasant experience.
