Really not worth a visit.Ordered a sous vide pork shoulder which arrived at the table as tough as leather. How the cooks managed that in a sous vide i have no clue. Sent it back and was sent an overcooked steak in place of it. Left.Typical chain restaurant garbage. Just walk on past, as to be completely honest you will be better off at Mcdonalds.

You had to see the funny side of our experience At Bistrot Pierre Leicester on 4/12/24, it was absolute facial, see the complaint I made. It was a good job we had a couple at Wethespoon before we went, wish we had eaten there as well. Good Morning I write to you in relation to a bad experience at your Leicester Restaurant on 4/12/2024.  We had booked a table for 3 at 17-00 for a festive meal, on arrival at the restaurant it was apparent that the staff on duty were very stressed and struggling to cope with what was not a very busy restaurant.  Having been seated it took some considerable time for a drinks order to be taken, which was 2 Mojito's and bottle of Merlot. It took about 15 minutes for Mojito's to arrive served with no straw and we were told that there were no straws. The bottle of Merlot did not arrive and we had to ask numerous times for this, which caused confusion amongst the waiting staff. The starters we ordered,  2x Rarebit and a Salmon Pate took around 30 minutes (the Merlot had still not arrived) the Rarebit was just about as described, but the Smoked Salmon Pate in no way resembled pate, it was a few pieces of what seemed like tinned Salmon with a sloppy sauce thrown on it, my wife said it could be described as "cat food milkshake" served with a tiny piece of bread, she had to leave her seat to take it to the young man who it seemed was in charge, he was seemingly shocked by it, and when told we still did not have our bottle of Merlot said that all the staff were new and had not been trained, also that he had only been manager for a couple of weeks. The wine did eventually arrive. Now main courses, we ordered 2 x Duck Parmentier and 1x Roast Turkey dinner. The Roast Turkey dinner was acceptable but I find it hard to describe the duck dish, it consisted of a few bits of meat, none of which bore a resemblance to duck, stranded under a thick layer of mashed potatoes in a thin sauce, accompanied by badly cooked frozen peas. I could not eat it and complained to the manager, who went to get the chef, she seemed highly stressed and said it was due to "supply chain issues". Enough said about the poor food, it did seem like we were in some kind of reality TV show or a recreation of Fawlty Towers, we fully expected a camera crew and Michael McIntyre to jump out and tell us it was all a spoof.  Joking aside, I have to say that just about all the other customers were having the same issues as us, and I felt extremely sad for your staff who were clearly overwhelmed and under trained in any aspect of restaurant service. The Young Man acting as manager did his upmost to rectify the problems but they were, in all honesty out of his control. We reached an agreement as to what we would pay for this meal. Just another point, the attached picture shows a pile of boxes under a staircase opposite where I was sitting, not a good look or in any way festive. Your thoughts would be appreciated. I did receive a reply from Danny at the restaurant apologising, but he clearly thought that 20% off and a bottle of wine was adequate compensation for a truly awful experience. I did reply to him asking for full compensation but did not get a reply.
