The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food and drink is reasonably priced and the various cakes and biscuits are lovely. I grew up close by and used to visit the abbey ruins frequently so it holds a special place in my heart. Even though I've moved out of the area, it's a pleasure to drive down with my dogs, grab a Mocha and some toast from the friendly kiosk before taking the dogs for a nice walk in surrounding woodlands.

Just the kind of place you hope to find in a park. Charming flower filled seating area outside, great food, good soup brilliant beef and mustard bagel, good coffee,) good prices and happy friendly atmosphere and lovely guy serving customers who is so nice and helpful.there are modern clean loos too. Perfect place for dog walking and fab playground which is just far away enough not to disturb the peace. it’s almost like magic, you leave behind the built up area and sit in the sun looking at beautiful well kept gardens and great big lawns listening to the birds and can explore the old abbey ruins against a backdrop of wonderful ancient woodland where you can stroll for hours. I would give this place 6 stars if I could.

I absolutely love visiting here. Visit almost every other day. Charlie and team are all lovely and so caring. Add in the back drop of the abbey Ruins and the woods etc it’s just the perfect place to relax for a while. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Kiosk is located in building complex at Lesnes Abbey ruins site. Perfect spot for a coffee and snack whilst out for walk or exercise in the surrounding Lesnes Abbey and Bostall Woods. Small selection of hot and cold sandwiches/snacks and full range of hot drinks with friendly service. Bench tables and seatings outside and around kiosks as well as toilet facilities. Very popular meeting point for local dog walkers. There used to be a cafe on this site many many years ago so it’s great to see this facility open for locals and visitors to the Abbey and woods. Well done.

My daughter and I have been brunching here regularly for more than two years. It really is the most wonderful place. The staff, mainly Lithuanian and Polish, are kind, funny, helpful. Just a delight to be around. The glamorous Russian owner is chatty and charming. The food itself is simply of the highest quality. It's all home-cooked to order so takes a little longer than your average cafe, but well worth it. The Bexley breakfast - or as they sometimes jokingly call it, the Brexit breakfast - gives the full English a new meaning. My daughter has had the Eggs Benedict and the Eggs Florentine and raves about both. You simply don't get this kind of quality service and exotica in the suburbs as a rule. Just wish the premises were a TINY bit bigger. I love this place, though. Love it.

Amazing again! Back again this time dining on there delicious smoked meat menu. Amazing turkey, ribs and pulled pork! Booked a table for mothers day and was delighted how good the service and food was and mum loves it here now! Firstly I was a bit surprised by the artwork for sale but don't let that put you off the delicious food here ! Starters was a lovely French onion soup and BBQ pork burnt ends, pork was a little tough We went for the Sunday roast sharing board which happy serves 3 people, it comes with turkey and 2 other meats of your choice! We went for lamb and gammon. The turkey was amazing, gammon delicious and the lamb was unfortunately a bit fatty. The roasted potatoes are amazing here!! Yorkshires homemade and fresh vegetables with some excellent gravey. We did order pigs in blankets, be warned there massive!! Obviously we can't manage dessert but they look good. Service was impeccable food was served quickly and piping hot and drinks served at the table. Also loved the country background music. Small downstairs bar area with more seating on the 1st floor. Parking available out the back. We definitely revisit and recommend
