Sadly the customer service we received at dinner (Bar and Grill) was easily the poorest customer service I have ever received. We were seated at 7pm and took over an hour just to review our starters. During this time another customer in the restaurant had a child vomit, about 5 staff members stood watching instead of offering to help. Another customer in the restaurant then went to find blue roll and disinfectant spray and helped the family whilst the waitress staff still stood watching. We asked to order a few times as there were 3 members of staff stood around, all said they weren’t able to take our order whilst one member of staff was clearly rushed off his feet. A couple of other tables complained and a manager appeared who then began arguing with another table who said they had items missing from their order, he said it wasn’t on the print out so they didn’t order it, he would not accept that the member of staff who took the order may not have inputted this correctly. For the manager to be arguing with customers is not acceptable. We were then brought the wrong food once our food did appear. All in all a shocking experience, especially for a restaurant that is not the cheapest. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, we did not receive an apology or any offer of a discount.

The food on a Saturday night was either roast gammon or beef and it was terrible. The vegetable server coughed on my plate, one member of staff clearing tables near us smelled of BO so bad I had to get up and walk away until he left the area. I couldn’t bring myself to eat at all. It’s very dark - apparently there is a light show, only it was just dark and nothing happened. This is likely so you can’t see the slop on your plate. My son was actually sick after eating so God only knows what the hygiene is like. I won’t be recommending this hole, sorry. Ruined the evening completely. There are takeaways and a beefeater not too far away, you won’t be spending any more money than you would at this place so just do it.

Visited Chessington Zoo with my daughter and grandson. We wanted to go on the Zufari road trip because my grandson is fascinated by Giraffes. We couldn’t get on the ‘bus’ by morning grandson isn’t a meter high but he won’t have been perfectly fine sitting on our lap. The walk was too far away to see them properly.

Just back from a weekend at Chessington and booked Temple Restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was noisy, dark flashing light and animal noises meant you couldn’t hear yourself speak. Asked to move tables and told not possible. No social distancing at all, tables very close together, no reduced capacity. Queued for the buffet, again no social distancing. Very limited food choices and poor quality. Breakfast was no better. Avoid

I feel that a lot of the other reviews offering up 1-2 stars are unfair. During the current climate you have to walk on open minded. Yes you are waiting longer for rides but that’s because they are cleaning for our safety. Ok so I paid for only my sons ticket so for the 3 of us the day cost £30. We had a great time: we didn’t go on the bigger rides as my son is only 5 so our longest wait was 45 mins for the safari ride which was amazing. It’s August and a weekend so fully expected it to be busy. All in all a lovely family day. 🥰

Simply avoid the place. Expensive, noisy, so dark in certain areas that you can barely see each other we had to move tables and the choice and standard of food is massively below par. For our family of 2 adults and a child of 4 and one of 6 it cost a few pence under £70. This got us a minimal choice of bland buffet food that was simply not worth half of that. We ate what we could as we had no other choice and then made our thoughts known to the manager who was not very understanding and explained that supplies were limited due to the current covid situation. This I can fully understand but when I asked if the prices and been changed to reflect this or were customers being told before paying and all I got was a worthless apology and told the prices and menu were on display. Eventually after our continued complaints we were given a 20% refund on 1 adult price which amounts to £4.95!!! From a £70 Bill? Utterly laughable. So to all potential customers I would simply avoid this place unless you like being ripped off. To Temple Bar you seriously need to up your game and deliver what you charge for. I would give a rating of zero but my 1 point goes to the waitress who sorted out our table move quickly with no fuss and was extremely helpful I unfortunately didn't catch her name but she was brilliant and the only positive of the evening.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. As a merlin pass holder for the last six years I have never seen anything quite like it. On arrival we queued to get into the car park,as we got out of our cars and headed toward the the entrance where we were greeted by a massive crowd of non socially distancing people trying to get into the park, as we queued for our temp and bag check which is understandable in the current climate was ok after 50mins of queueing for this we entered through the gate we where also greeted by a massive crowd which made it impossible to stay apart. As a party of 2 adults and 6 kids (not all mine) lol and of varied ages. By 12.15 only 2 of the children got on anything. So we decided to stop for lunch we got the kids slush puppie which cost £30 and the consistency was like juice which is probably a tell tale sign that it didn’t have tineto re freeze,Suggested that they couldn’t cater with the amount of people in the park. After lunch we proceeded to the seastorm which was an ok wait of 30 mins to then be told to leave queue as it had broken down.By then we had had enough so I went to guest services to be met by a rude ,unhelpful and arrogant boy I asked to speak to a manager who then proceeded to tell me it was just a theme park in the summer accept it! In all the years I have never seen anything like this .I also said I would be willing to pay for fast track had this been available to me. Also if the park was busy why can they open more food a drink kiosks during the summer holidays? Merlin are obviously trying to claw back revenue lost due to COVID ! They say that they have reduced capacity so offer online bookings to keep note of no’s lol this showed no evidence of this today. Also charging a £1.00 everytime you go on top of the £700 I already paid to not get on anything. I am usually not a complainer however I felt angry today. Also Merlin you should dissapointed with yourself. If you read this I would stay well away unless you fancy a bout of COVID .

Well we had our regular visit to the theme park of course post Covid. We o ew there would be changes of course but wanted to go anyway for out daughters birthday. We had the hotel booked for a night too so arrived early went to the park for rides they were mostly open so was fine little longer for a wait as expected. Lots of hand sanitizers about and cleaning signs. Regular cleans for the rides was good. Down side the food was pretty poor and was cold so was not good. As for the hotel we had 2 rooms booked with dinners and breakfast pre paid for. Firstly No table for dinner as was fully booked only a take away which was a disgrace, dry and small portions. We could only book breakfast for 10:30 even though had to check out at 10 and come back in was first told take away only but was then seated and was happy with the breakfast choice. The hotel was to say a bit shabby needed re doing paint maintenance etc the problem was the kettle was very low and could be touched by our small child. Plus side was a good view from the room over looking the animals. We do like to come here regular and I have complained to the hotel and to be fair they have been helpful.

Papa John’s never disappoints! The pizza is always fresh and loaded with toppings, and the crust strikes that perfect balance between crispy and soft. The flavors are consistently delicious, especially with the signature garlic dipping sauce, which takes the experience to the next level. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a meal for a family gathering, Papa John’s delivers quality and taste every time. Highly recommended!

Half the menu was not available. Messed up what we did order. Not interested in offering service of any kind. Food was tolerable.
