I recently enjoyed a delicious pizza at Papa Johns, Kingston. The service was impeccable, with the staff being friendly and attentive. I recommend this pizza place. By the way, the chicken is not Halal there.

Sent me a completely incorrect order, the workers don't know what they’re doing.Completely incompetent

Ordered food via the website for delivery. Not only does the person on the phone at the papa johns site repeatedly hang up on me, but they refused to get a driver to deliver my food, a delivery I have paid for, and tell me to collect within five minutes. Ordered food at 4:02 only to be told at 4:55, 5miutes before closing. Extremely rude staff, and frankly awful customer service. Do not order from here. My order number was #74984085

Just ridiculous, it took almost 2 hours to be delivered. Lack of communication, extras has not been added. Never ever again and I believe no one should ever eat from here.

Absolute shambles. Pizza delivery company who have fired their delivery divers (continue to charge for delivery), left just one person in the store who is unequipped to handle any issues and a manager who won't answer calls. Waited an hour for delivery, then finally the one guy picks up the phone with the strapline "I can't do anything about it". He then cancelled the order. So £25 down (take 5 business days to refund but 10 seconds to take the money) and no food. Perhaps don't run a pizza delivery franchise if you are unable to deliver the food. Counting the days till this business model fails. #papajohnsclosingsoon

I don't know why so many bad reviews. I have never had any issues with Papa Johns Kingston. I always go here for our family pizzas definitely prefer it to domino's. I also go here for all any school event which serves pizza. Tastes great arrives on time. Rob the store manager is always so helpful and staff are lovely.

Would give it less if I could. Took well over an hour and was cold when it got to me. No one had a clue what was going on. Driver had clearly picked up loads of other orders from other takeaways even though I paid 2.49 for the delivery and ordered through papa johns app. Won’t be ordering again I’ll stick to dominos.

Hmm not sure why all the bad reviews . I ate it and it tasted better than many of the pizzas I ate in lake como and milan .

I ordered pizza without sweetcorn, when opened box at home I couldn't believe😵- sweetcorn was on my pizza😵😵😵 I have allergy for sweetcorn!!! It should never happened - what's Food service you deliver?? !!! I will never back to Papa Johns!!!

I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences with Papa John’s in Kingston upon Thames. The pizza is not only delicious but also offers great value for money. What truly sets them apart is their incredible customer support. The staff have been super helpful, supporting us through numerous minor issues with a consistently positive attitude. It’s rare to find such dedicated and best customer service. Highly recommended!

I don’t know what on Earth went so wrong! For some reason the only vegan pizzas available were wheat free medium sized- a choice of two. I was too hungry by this point so just went for it. The pizza arrived cold and a complete mess- they hadn’t even cut it! I had to slice it myself and reheat it. Please also note the pitiful amount of cheeze and the sparse toppings- which cost £1.49 each!! I also seem to have been given half the amount of tater tots (also cold). The pizza itself tastes awful and the base is almost inedible (managed a couple of slices from sheer hunger), horrible texture. We’ve always bought from Papa Johns for years but after a string of bad orders (this by far being the worst) we won’t ever order from them again.

Papa John’s Kingston used to good.. but the pizza I just had delivered was awful :( I don’t recommend them at all.

I gave one star only for one reason, because it’s the only least thing! Horrible service! Last night I’ve ordered a cheese and tomato pizza, tots and a soft drink from papa John’s Kingston and all I received was two pepperoni pizzas and a brownie! When i called the store guy, he is blaming the delivery guy and the delivery guy is blaming the store guy! And Uber eats is least bothered! Wasted £21.08!!!!! Thanks for this Horrible Service!!!!

I ordered pizza via the app. Despite paying a £2.49 delivery fee it took an hour and 7 minutes to arrive. For context, I live an 8 minute drive from the store. I ordered thin crust, this was a stodgy, deep crust, partially cooked with a good 3cm of rim. It was ridiculous, the toppings sat in a smallish circle in the middle. I ordered half and half. They'd put the wrong half, then cut the pizza in massive chunks with 2 tiny slices - it says large is 10 slices, this was 6. They didn't deliver the dip that was part of the chicken side dish. Tried calling the store several times - the phone just rings out. Do not use this branch, it is pretty much theft.

Avoid this papa John pizzas I ordered pizza and I received terrible pizza disgusting 🤮 never again.

Ordered delivery drink is missing and they said that they will send it back. This branch has very poor service now under new management, it should be closed. Workers don't deserve the jobs.

I made a delivery order via just eat in the morning so I could feed myself and my younger brother. They accepted the order via just eat and we sat there all morning waiting for our food to arrive. When I rang there store they were exceptionally rude and disgusting. I definitely do not recommend Papa-Nonces!!! Worst pizza store ever. Don’t claim to be open till a certain time and when people put in bloody orders you take them for a ride.

One of the worst experience ordering on the phone. Who ever was on the ordering till on 19th November around 12:30 needs to be sent on customer training. My order was delayed by a hour and They cancelled my order without notifying and were rude on the phone and refused to give their name so I can make a complaint. Absolutely unprofessional and no customer friendly behaviour.

Pizza tasted ok but ended up with food poisoning after ordering from here. Would highly advise to stay away.

UPDATE: tried this branch again the other day and although the base was still really thin, it was much nicer. Arrived in great time, piping hot and tasty. So will add another star. Have never had an issue with this branch. In fact, we would actively choose this branch over all other competitors due to the efficiency and quality of food. However, our last delivery in January was awful. Ordered at 8pm and it took AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES to be delivered. I actually thought the tracker was broken as it was being prepped for ages. I called at one point for an update and was told ‘sorry for delay it’s coming’ and then hung up on. Clearly the team were overrun with work. Driver was very apologetic but not his fault. The pizza itself was poor. The base was wafer thin with toppings piled on so you couldn’t pick it up without it giving under with the weight. This meant the base wasn’t fully cooked either. It was also lukewarm at best. Head Office gave a full refund. Looking at reviews it seems that a bad time was had around this time and more recent reviews are better, so we will definitely give them another go (due to the years of good service) and I will update my review if things have improved.

Ordered for delivery 2 large pizzas. Quality of it was appaling. Bread edges was big as 4cm. I had to drive back with it for replacement. No sorry or apologise from staff.

There was an error made with our order. Helped us out immediately, rectified the problem and very apologetic. Fantastic staff.

Ordered for ASAP delivery at 19.33 a driver tried delivering the incorrect order which we returned, called the restaurant and explained they said 10mins we'll have our order. 30mins later we tried calling and nobody picked up. Went to the restaurant and got a refund and no pizza and they said driver had already been sent out. It's now 9pm and we have no dinner.

My friend (whom I was with, that placed and paid for the order) did so and the tracking app said it had been delivered. After trying to call the restaurant, with no answer, we drove about a mile and a half to the location to despute the issue. My friend went in, a little confrontational. It is at this point, I would like to mention Rob. Who was there on his day off, trying to keep the place afloat (can personally vouch from actually witnessing his efforts) he resolved our issue, even giving us some nice deductions/compensation, by way of an apology. Huge props to him. He then had our order remade and in our hands within 15 minutes. If it wasnt for all this. I would of been giving a significantly lower rating. On a good day, I haven't had a problem with this branch. Some days s**t happens. I wouldnt warn against the place as a whole. But, it has its faults.

The most delicious pizza ever! So very warm and amazing staff very polite and felt very happy being in store! I had a cheeky slice before taking a photo as couldn’t insist the smell! 🤤

Ordered a pizza with a bottle of 7-Up. Delivery lady shows up with pizza but no 7-Up. Called the place. Friendly person (manager?) picks up. Ask for the bottle to be delivered. 10 minutes later there is a guy at my door with the 7-Up. This is how it's done.

Based on my last ever experience at this local outlet the staff were friendly and will help in whatever way they can to make sure you are catered for. Menu covers all tastes, from basic to more luxury topping types.

Took 1hr 45 mins to arrive. Then I got someone else's order. Was resolved quickly.

The pizza toppings were packed an inch high. There was literally a whole green pepper on one slice of PIZZA. It was sickening to look at, every slice of pizza had inch thick toppings so the dough wasn't cooked and was cold and soggy. I threw it away and has put me off pizzas for a very long time. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Not sure what’s happened since June’22… management change perhaps… but now it’s the worst Papa Johns ever… 4th time on the trot… they’ve taken the money, confirmed the order… then not delivered…. Avoid like the plague!

Ordered at 5:45pm! It is now 8:50pm Still no pizza! I have tried to call 12 times no answer what so ever. This is ridiculous! Never ordering pizza here ever again be warned!

Ordered for Thursday lunch 1200 (in advance = booked time). My order arrived 35mins late. No communication - tried calling them and no one was picking it up. After the driver arrived at reception, he did not call me as I had written in the comments "Call me once you arrive at main reception". The admin staff informed me he has gone to the canteen. I have to go looking for him. And when I get there and ask him about the delay & why he didn't call me, not only he was non apologetic but he had a careless macho man attitude and saying "call them to tell them". And I said "You are representing Papa Johns right now. I'm telling you to tell them as well". Worst experience with a fast food delivery ever. Order was 130£

Do not order from here. My pizza came with the quality seal broken, the pizza was squashed to the side, cheesy jalapeños were punctured. When asked for a refund, they said they can't. I do not want more food from somewhere that delivers food with the quality seal broken.

After pre-ordering hours in advance, the only way to get my pizza was to go to the store and cajole them into making it. In store, it felt pretty disorganised. I wasn't far off donning an apron. In the end, the pizza tasted good, but it was an ordeal to get it. Urgent attention needed until worth reconsidering. In the meantime, try Patio Pizza, Terra Mia or The Norbiton.

So after a 6hr drive home from our holiday we ordered some food at 20:50. The tracker for the food wasn’t updating from “prepping your order” and I just assumed they hadn’t updated the tracker but it would be in the oven by now. An HOUR later I called them, which took many attempts to get through, and I ask for an update. The lady on the other side of the phone said “basically you’re order number 83 and we are currently on 53, so it will be ANOTHER HOUR AND A HALF until your food might be ready. I explained how this was disgraceful and told her to cancel my order as I am not waiting TWO AND A HALF HOURS for some pizza. I wish they would have stopped taking orders when things were getting out of hand and just cancelled our order straight away instead of expecting us to wait 2 and a half hours!

Absoutley appalling service! Rude. No order delivered waited 2 and half hours! Was told order was on its way, waited again still no food! Nearly 3 hours and no food. Absoutley disgusting service, called the restaurant and the guy was so rude to me and hung up!! Spent a lot of money for food that we didn’t receive!

Sent me a barbecue pizza with no barbecue sauce on it and was so undercooked I had to finish it off in the oven. Also refused to give me a refund as apparently they don’t have the facilities to offer refunds? Jokers.

Better than Dominos for takeaway but still not that great. sometimes e have had to wait too long for delivery.
