Chefs Kitchen Noodle Bar in Taunton Deane

This was my first meal from here, and I was impressed. All very tasty, both meat and vegetarian dishes. Delivered a little early, and nice and hot. I'm looking forward to trying out their other dishes in the future!

Great food as always - sadly the ordered prawn crackers didn’t arrive though

Food was late and lukewarm due to delivery driver struggling to find my address. Lady at the restaurant was very apologetic and polite though. Unfortunately the quality of the food was not really worth the wait in this case. The portion size was good and the flavour of the hot & sour broth wasnt bad either, but all seafood was overcooked. After good word of mouth reviews I was honestly surprised by the quality I received.

Took 2 hours from order to delivery, not the delivery persons fault, if the takeaway is too busy perhaps they should stop taking orders, bad service from a place that is usually very good

Best Chinese in the area. My personal fav is the Dan Dan noodles, but we also highly recommend the Peking ribs, Vietnamese spring rolls and many other items.

The food was pleasant. Singapore noodles need more flavour & spice and the Vietnamese spring rolls are not authentic at all and lacks consistency and flavour. Pastry too thick (my husband is Vietnamese).

Why do so many Chinese restaurants use plastic containers for delivery ? Others now using coated card or Indian restaurants often use foil tins. Mental how much plastic came for 3 ppl!

Fast delivery, it was estimated to be delivered in 1 hour but arrived in 35 minutes. This was on a Wednesday at 8:30 so I don't know over the weekend how fast it can be. Soup was really good but came in a a very small pot. The portion could be bigger. The sweet and sour pork it's the best I've tried. 4 star in food quality due to the size of the soup but definitely I'll order again

The only thing edible was the rice and the prawn crackers. Overcooked, dry and hard...cost me almost £100

My new favourite. Battered salt and pepper ribs are really really good as are the noodles and the batter on chicken balls is just right - thin and crispy! Would definitely recommend.

AWFUL I ordered because of the high reviews. Wish I had saved my money. The vegetable chow mein was absolutely swimming in sauce - to the point the bag was full up with the stuff as well. The only veg was a ton of onion and 3 stringy strands of carrot. The prawn chow mein was so dry it was like eating cardboard. And with 4 prawns it could hardly be classed as prawn chow mein Save your money

Perhaps the most underrated Asian food spot in town. Food is great quality, and tasty! Had no problems whatsoever. The staff were very polite.

The food was so fresh, lovely vegetables used the lightest chicken balls I've ever had. Large pieces of chicken with a thin covering of dough and not soggy at all. Loved the lamb in lettuce cups. I have leftovers and already know that when warmed up it will be exactly as when it was first delivered. Not stingy with main ingredients so when you order prawns you get prawns not just the token prawn. Will definitely be using this restaurant again.

Wow, where do I start… Firstly I’d like to say what a lovely town chefs kitchen is situated in and after trying many similar takeaways I can say chefs kitchen by far takes the lead with their perfectly cooked delicious food and amazing service every time. There’s many dishes I can’t speak for because I’m addicted to the lamb curry! The dishes I have tried were Devine. Meal prices are pretty standard but the size of the meals are next level. I highly recommend and I can’t wait to enjoy the food again soon, many thanks, Kyle.

Best crispy chicken ,had the right amount of spice. The sweet and sour sauce is amazing the closest to what we have had in our travels . Look forward to ordering something different next time

Ordered for a specific time but it was early. Second time in a row this has happened (not the same restaurant). Saying that the food was really good and I will definitely be ordering from here next time I'm ordering chinese. Had battered chicken, salt & pepper ribs and thin noodle chow mein. Every dish was lovely. Light batter on the chicken. The noodles are the authentic thin ones. Salt and pepper ribs really tasty. Very impressed and really enjoyed it

Crispy Beef and salt & Pepper ribs were very nice but the egg fried rice and Special fried rice were very bland, no flavour and was more like boiled rice,it's a shame because I think if they tweaked the rice it would be very good

Usually had fairly good experiences but tonights was poor, food wasn't as tasty as usual, very cold, my sweet & sour sauce that came with the chicken balls was only half full so only managed to use 4 out of the 8 balls in it, Also delivery got delayed and in the end it took about 1hour 20mins roughly compared to the estimated time of 30-40mins roughly.

In my Singapore noodles with shrimps, chicken and pork I didn't get any shrimps or chicken or pork... and I pay £20 on this... thanks a lot...

Food was nice but quite pricey and the tofu was really soggy. It hasn’t been pressed or cooked properly so tasted like air. Everything else was nice though

Pretty poor food, all noodles were soggy and tasteless and chicken satay very chewy, rice was dry. Real shame considering this is by far the most expensive Chinese in taunton. Delivery was on time but was an hour and a half.

Chicken balls were apparently under-cooked, and my Katsu pork noodles were way overcooked and extremely dry and devoid of flavour, and the other food items weren't great apparently. I don't know what the heck is going on because I have never had a problem with the food quality before when ordering from here. I loved ordering from this place in the past but if the food quality i received today is going to be an indicator for how any future orders will be done, then I may have to rethink.

The crispy beef tasted nice but wasn't crispy, the egg fried rice was really plain and the Singapore rice noodles were really wet and mushy though did have a nice taste. We usually order from China China and this order wasn't a patch on what they usually offer.

The special fried rice is the healthiest I've come across, not greasy! The king prawns are out of this world and the roast pork is delicious . However, sadly I've had to take stars off because of the strange texture and lack of flavor of the chicken and beef!

Great Chinese food. Fair prices. Good delivery. All round fabulous. My go-to. Love the duck.

The salt & pepper squid was like rubber, the chili beef tasted like beef-in-Christmas-spices, the sweet & sour chicken was so overcooked it was like chewing boot leather, and the pancake rolls tasted as if overloaded with all-spice. The only good part was that the king prawns in the chow mein weren't overcooked. Do not eat here, it's not worth even a quarter of what they're charging.

Ordered Mixed meat all i got was mostly Ginger and onions, very bland noodles. Crispy chicken was the only thing i liked.

Great food and possibly the only local restaurant that does so many types of noodles. Lived in Asia for a while and nothing has come closer to some of the Vietnamese dishes than this place! 10/10.

This was my first time ordering, the egg fried rice was lovely. The prawn curry in black bean sauce was tasty, the prawns were delicious but there were too many green peppers and onions and the pieces were too big, this didn't leave a lot of room for the sauce which I wanted more of! Many some mushrooms or some greenery? The chips were disappointing. Would I order again? This cost me nearly £20 so only if the changes were made.

I left a bad review last week as the food was over cooked, (and i was really surprised as i had always a great service from this place)..since then they have called me and even left voice mail to apologies and put things right, abs that the way they handled everything was some of the best costumer service i have ever encountered, order soon again 5 stars and i'll again soon

Normal the food is very nice but this time the Salt and pepper chicken was overcooked, so very dry and the noddle were lacky on flavour and not very hot.
