Delicious Asian food, I will come back again!

Family run Japanese & Korean food restaurant. Abundant of choices, tasty food, friendly and warm services. Highly recommended.

Ordered food online. Delivery was on time. Pork belly ramen soup was blant ( no taste) and only 3 places of meat. No Veg. Lots of noodles. Unfortunately not for my liking and will not be ordering it again. Teriyaki chicken upon noodles were very good.

After days in England finally a good, filling and tasty meal! I love Asian cuisine and everything was really fantastic! Highly recommended

Absolutely delicious food! I was blown away by their flavours, there is huge variety of dishes, the portions are great, staff are friendly and the ambience of the restaurant is very nice. I have tried a couple of Asian restaurants in Taunton but this one is by far the best one in town.

It was an outstanding experience to dine at Chopsticks. The menu offered a very wide variety of delicious dishes including Japanese, Chinese and Korean food, and the flavors were truly authentic and feels local. The service was top-notch, and the food was ready quickly. Definity a must-go in Taunton!

Great surprise!!! Authentic Asian taste!! We went in a group of 9, all dishes are delicious!! Highly recommend spicy rice noodles 麻辣米線 and Japanese ramen 豬骨拉麵!! The food was delivered quick and hot, loved it!!!!

Stop by there after visited Cornwall. Very delicious Japanese Ramen in town, tastes like in Japan. Highly recommended!

Delicious! Tasty food, very reasonably priced and friendly service!

A nice little cozy place!. The food was really amazing, it had lots of flavour and really good filling portions for its price!. I had Japanese curry breaded shrimp with rice, the shrimps and sauces were really tasty, little snacks, to have while you wait for your main, will be there again to try more food out. The service is also great, really friendly and close by if you need them.

Finally found the best noodle house in Taunton and near Yeovil! The best Ramen I ever tasted so far in UK. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant atmosphere is very homey and cozy and the price is very affordable but superb quality food! Would definitely recommend!

Food was delicious, couldn't fault it. Decent portion size, very tasty and great value. Pork ramen with terriaki chicken was fab. The lady working here was lovely and explained everything to us. Will definitely come back next time we are in Taunton. 10/10.

Pleasantly surprised by the place. When you step into the store it doesn't look like much, but the food is amazing!!! Everything was super tasty and plated nicely. The gentleman who runs it/owns it (?) is very kind and plays attention to his customers. Chopsticks is a hidden gem for the lovers of Asian food.

Such a cosy restaurant with delicious Korean food and boba tea. Such friendly customer service who was very kind. It would be nice to have some background music playing when it’s quiet. I’ll definitely be back!

A very difficult place to review. The highs were very high, but the negatives impossible to ignore. Four of us ordered takeaway. Order process was easy, food arrived quickly, hot and well packed. My noodle soup had the broth in a separate cup, meaning it all stayed fresh and the broth itself was incredibly delicious. The meat however was such a let down. I chose chicken and pork (not pork belly) I got 3 very small pieces of each, the pork was pork belly and even by pork belly standards was fatty and as in soup not crispy, nor was it nicely flavoured. The chicken was similar. The udon noodles in it however we're the best I've ever eaten. So, so good. The Korean beef pleased my Japanese friend. Our vegetarian friend had seriously limited options, the only veggie meals have no protein, and rather than swap out meat for tofu she had to order a vegetable curry (at about the same price as a meat one) and pay £3 extra for fried tofu. She did say that it was very tasty though. But confused that there isn't a tofu option alongside beef/pork etc. The biggest disappointment was the teriyaki chicken rice bowl. Again, very, very small amount of protein, no veg and very little sauce, but 80% of the tub was plain rice. I'm order to.dinsih her meal, she had to use sauces from the pantry. So that meal felt really overpriced for what was received. It's a tough call, the restaurant is just around the corner from my house, and I need more of those noodles, but the lack of protein in the dishes makes.it quite poor value for money compared to other places.

Really nice restaurant full of Japanese and Korean delicious dishes. They only opened 6 months ago, and you can tell they put some love on it. We tried chicken teriyaki ramen with the upgrade. It's really nice! I'll be back

Great food. Great service. Really well priced. I’d say this is the best in town for oriental cuisine. A hidden gem. I’m shocked that it’s not always busy. Freshly made authentic food. This is not your standard British Chinese takeaway. This is a dining experience full of flavour and authentic dishes.

Korean food in Taunton! I was a little worried because it was a place that serves a variety of Asian food, but I ate Korean-style food, but it was okay. My friend ate it and was completely satisfied. It seemed like a family affair, but everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was friendly, reminiscent of a Korean snack bar. It was delicious! I don't know when I'll go to Taunton again (if there's another Noel performance, I might go with a friend who is a Noel fan;), but if I go, I want to try other foods.

A true hidden gem, very tasty and enjoyable ramen and amazing bubble drinks. Will definitely eat there again, looking forward to trying something new next time!

we travelled from midland to Exeter, and stopped by Taunton, having dinner in this authentic family-run Asian restaurant, nice food, good service especially the bubble milk tea, brought us back the memories of HK. ❤️❤️

I ordered a boba tea and some beef and glass noodles. Tea was lovely, noodle portion was ample but a little light on the protein. I know the photo looks like there's a lot but that's literally every piece as it was all at the bottom. Perhaps it's enough and actually just an extra large portion of noodles? I guess it depends what you like. Id buy again but would probably need a meat based side. The actual place is very relaxed, nice family ran business vibe and the staff / owners super friendly.

Been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and it definitely didn’t disappoint, so happy to have more asian food places/restaurants in taunton and at such a reasonable price too, owners were lovely and food came a quick pace, the food was so tasty

Amazing place for Asian food. Had pork belly ramen - absolutely delicious. Portion is generous. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. We had a toddler with us, they brought her a plate and cutlery so I could share my food with her. Such a little detail but means so much. Will definitely come back.

Took my kids here for dinner last night. We were welcomed in and well looked after. Food was amazing! Best noodles ever, my daughter said 😁 Will definitely be going back

Been here with my fiancée recently. The food was really tasty, very reasonably priced judging today's prices and other places in town, the atmosphere was very cosy and the service was excellent. I also noticed they were dog and kid friendly. Would definitely recommend it to all my friends!

Visited as I wanted to try something different and from looking on Google reviews, I was impressed. The food was really good and service was very quick. The owner/owners were really nice and amicably. Great choice of menu, prices are ok too compared with others and generous portions.

It was my first time going today after hearing such great reviews, and I wasn't disappointed! Good prices for the amount of food they give you and the lovely couple who run the shop are very dedicated to making sure you have an enjoyable experience 🙂 The food is a mixture of both korean and japanese which is very welcomed in Taunton 🍥 The only "downside" is that it is located further from the centre of town so be prepared to have a nice walk. It is cash only but you have the Tesco services over the road so its not a huge problem if you don't carry cash with you. I definitely recommend it!!

We had a Friday takeaway from here. Cash only. Really good, fresh food. Ramen, Rice dishes, lots of small snack plates, kimchi, seaweed salad, tofu, very authentic. We had boba (bubble tea) as well which was great. Good choice for vegans and vegetarians, also has lots of options if you eat meat.

Went in at lunchtime where there as only one staff member working taking the orders and cooking the food. He was rushed off his feet so there was a wait which was fine as he apologised. Beware on the set menu the +2 sides for an extra £3 are not the regular sides you see on the menu but a small portion of fries and vegetable spring rolls. Maybe they could look at indicating that on the menu because we overheard another table mentioning this. We had the pork belly in broth ramen and Korean fried beef in glass noodles. The pork belly broth was rich and umami. You could tell it was homemade. There was slightly too much fat on the pork belly but that's my personal opinion. The Korean fried beef glass noodles was sweet and tangy with plenty of vegetables and filling. It would have been better if all the food arrived together rather than watching each other eat, but I appreciate the chef was working alone. There was no atmosphere in the restaurant, they could do with some music to break the silence of cars on the main road. Although the décor, seats and tables were clean looking and presentable.

The service was good. As a family run restaurant it gives off a homey and cozy feeling. The owners are very flexible to the allergies or preferences of the customers (if they wanna add or remove ingredients) The ramen was a bit bland for my taste...lacking that umami you usually expect from the soup but the rice bowls were nice. The chicken wings needed more sauce as the chicken itself was a bit bland too. However for the price, you can't complain much. It's still a hearty portion that can get you full for hours!

I have been to Chopsticks couple of times and every time I was served delicious meal. The prices are very good for the amount of food you get and the couple running the buisness are very dedicated to give great hospitality. The food is a mixture of korean and japanese cuisine which Taunton really lacked so far, so I'm very happy to get another regular place to eat in town. The place is a cash only and further down the main road which doesnt get much traffic but it is honestly worth it. I really recommend any korean beef combos and seaweed salad.

This place is ABSOLUTELY amazing. THE best Asian food I have ever had. Taunton has been needing a place like this forever! The seaweed salad, pork ramen noodles and chicken gyozas are the best I have ever tasted! This is not our regular restaurant in town. Lovely family run business with a friendly couple. Food is priced just right and the menu is mouth watering. Would 100% recommend! I would say this place is more then on far with some of the big hitters in Londons China town and is way better then Waggamammas and Pho!

Finally, Taunton has a gem that offers an incredibly authentic and refreshing dining experience, far from the ordinary Japanese/Chinese cuisine we're used to. The food was incredibly comforting, bursting with delightful flavors and made with the freshest ingredients. Needless to say, I'll definitely be revisiting this place in the near future! HIghly recommended :)
