Had a really nice lunch here. Sichuan tofu was great - warmed me up on a dreary day!

Great fresh and tasty food, very relaxing and friendly staff. Loads of veg and vegan options.

We ate here two nights in a row and if we weren't going home would do so again tomorrow. Fantastic food, great atmosphere and brilliant service. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Went for dinner and was served by Erik. He was very attentive and catered for our every need. The food was to die to die for. Authentic traditiomal Slovenian food was so good. We'll be back next time we're in Taunton to try the next quarters food.

My partner, a vegan, and I, a vegetarian, visited The Quarter Restaurant on a Friday evening for dinner. We were warmly welcomed by the host, Erik, whose service elevated the whole experience. There was a separate vegan menu, which gave us both plenty of choice. We chose a starter (spicy Szechuan tofu), based on the fantastic smells coming from the kitchen, and we weren't disappointed. The homemade vegan ravioli, arancini balls, and udon were also excellent. Four dishes and a bottle of wine came to just over £60, which was a more-than-fair price for the quality of food, drink and service we received. Have already recommended to friends and will be booking to return soon.

Poor selection. Menu on Internet conflicts with actual at restaurant Oh sorry sir that menu expired December 2022! When ordering actual menu at restaurant, items were sold out l, pity they didn't tell you before ordering. When we finished and glad we finished no offer of coffee This place is soulless cold and uninteresting.

This place is very cute and the service was prompt. Veggie friendly. The food itself (polenta and tofu dish) was bland and cold so a bit of a disappointment.

A different name, but the same varied, innovative and delicious vegan menu. A real asset to Taunton and surrounding area - there's no other place like it.

We went as a group of 9 for dinner. Starters came out promptly and were delicious, the Sichuan chicken was the best. The main courses were presented beautifully and tasted just as great. Overall, it had a nice atmosphere and Erik made sure we were comfortable throughout the evening.

Really enjoyed my lunch here. Hidden away from the high street, a real gem of a place. Quality food, cocktails and first class service! I will be back!

Small but cosy place in Taunton city centre. It doesn’t look amazing from outside but it gets better once you go in. We had the chicken and smoked salmon. My chicken was really tasty and presented on top of a mixture of potato and bacon. Great presentation but just one waiter is maybe not enough for a busy Saturday like today. Mille foulle for dessert was a bit disappointing. A good place overall but maybe the current 4.9 is an excessive rating.

Great restaurant in the centre of Taunton. The food was really good and tasty. The salmon sandwich was amazing, with soft cream cheese and leaves with the bread slightly warm and crunchy. The chicken breast had the perfect combination with the peppers and the mushroom and brocoli sauce. The dessert was ok but not outstanding as it was the other 2 dishes. There is also mexican food as well in the menu. The man was very nice, he is alone at least today in the service part, so really made a big effort to bring all the food on time. The toilets are very clean and the atmosphere is relaxing with some classic music. Place really recommended.

We stopped by spontaneously on the way to the airport and were not disappointed. Super delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. Very attentive, child-friendly service! If I lived nearby I would definitely eat there more often!

Amazing place. Fantastic vegan and non vegan food (I love the schezwan tofu), quality service and they even gave me a free cocktail refill. Really nice dining experience, and great portion sizes. Will be back!

This place is a MUST. The food is outstanding. I can not rate it enough. High end food, yet so reasonably priced. All the staff are so welcoming, friendly. I rate The Quarter Restaurant over and over again.

Attended the soft launch party for The Quarter Restaurant last night and wish them all the best - the samples of food we tried were absolutely delicious and different to what's on offer elsewhere. Really enjoyed the cocktails too 🙂 The menu is so well priced - will be back with family and friends!

Incredible,I’m a meat eater and I didn’t miss it one bit,actually give my meal and experience a 10/10,and very reasonable price,will definitely return.

Absolutely excellent vegan restaurant. The best Tempura I have ever tasted. Really great menu options. We ate outside which was lovely. Really friendly staff. I'm looking forward to going back and having more Tempura and trying a pudding.

This place blows my mind! An absolute testament to Taunton town! How they make these flavours is amazing! Even if you eat meat, you need to give these guys a try! We've had two meals via too good to go and both times been outstanded by the taste and quality! The staff are very friendly too, amazing place, thank you!

Awesome experience. Very tasty food, nicely presented in a very nice ambience by super nice people. Loved it! We tried Jackfruit falafel, rice & Dal , tikka masala tofu and brownie as sweet. All are 10 out of 10. A must visit restaurant

Truly a lovely restaurant. It's the kind of place you take meat-loving relatives to to prove that vegan food really can be delicious. It is a little pricey, but the variety and friendliness more than justifies it. Definitely try the passionfruit sorbet.

I’m not a vegan but I love the food here, so yummy and very friendly service. I would 100% recommend the Golden Milk if you come here, so delicious and cosy to drink!

We ate here earlier today and it was really tasty! We shared some vegetable tempura which I think may be the best I've ever had (and it came with two delicious dips), and then I also had the jackfruit burger. The menu was huge and not only was it all vegan, 99% of it seemed to also be either naturally gluten free, or was available to be made gluten free, so a great place for celiacs to eat too! A lovely little place with great food, would definitely recommend. I would advise possibly booking a table, we went on a Sunday at 1 and by 1:30 I don't think there was a free table there, so if you're planning in advance, book yourself a table. I believe they also do take away though so even if you did turn up on the day and were full, I'm sure they'd still be able to accommodate!

OMG! We have to go back, there were too many yummy things on the menu. We had mains, smoothie and dessert - all totally scrummy. The service was attentive and smiley. Funky decor, really nice place. Would highly recomend.

A little off of the beaten path. Great concept and neat atmosphere. Tried the Tofu Tikka Masala which was good, but not as good as some of the local Indian restaurants. Still, planning on going back and trying some of the other dishes.

My brother is Vegan I am not but we both enjoyed our meal here.

Visited here with my husband, we shared the cauli wings as a starter, it was delicious, crunchy and spicy. We both had the mango tree shepherd's pie which was a real comfort food on a cold evening the veg was fresh and a good assortment, if I'm being picky it felt a bit cold inside the restaurant but food fantastic! Definitely would recommend.

We had a lovely meal here, I think we should’ve booked but we got a table and will definitely be back when we’re in the area. Lovely choices and my non vegan partner loved the food. I had a smaller plate so I could have room for dessert as decent vegan desserts are not always easy to find!

It is rare to go into a restaurant and find everything on the menu to be desirable. I went for the thing that seemed weirdest, idli, it was absolutely amazing nicely spicy. My partner had the green burger and it was very good, not fake meqt but real wholefood. I just need to visit another 10 times to try everythong else.

Loved it, felt like a vitamin boost as I started my burger. Burger chips and a drink for under a tenner, tasty, filling and super healthy, you can't go wrong.

Lovely staff and it was great to be able to choose from a whole menu! Loved that you could get a range of different style foods so we had a tapas in a way with a mixture of Indian, Chinese and Spanish style flavours :) I even ended up buying a book about plant based diets for people with intolerances! Would definately recommend!

Best Wholefood Vegan Restaurant I've ever been to! The owners are very friendly, the food is amazing and the service is great. My favorite dishes are the cauliflower wings, Mushroom Risotto and the salted caramel cheesecake!

The food from The Mango Tree was absolutely delicious, fresh, tasty and I cannot rave about their apple slaw enough!! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed everything and would definitely recommend this restaurant. 5 stars from us.

Amazing food, staff, and atmosphere

We had a first-class three-course dinner and the service was beyond excellent. On a really hot day, it was cool inside and we felt very welcomed. You don't need to be Vegan or a Vegetarian to enjoy the food here, it's healthy, very tasty and an amazing place to eat. I can honestly say the dishes here easily beat my favourite meaty ones, and that's coming from a (former now) carnivorous person. Everything is made from scratch and the quality of food is exceptional. We'll be going through their menu in no time! In times like these, we really should support places like this and they truly deserve all the praise and custom they can get. So pop down there and enjoy it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. This has my highest recommendation so far. **Sorry, no pics... Too busy eating 🤣

We had a lunch en route to Devon on a Sunday; the restaurant is in the process of getting established after the second lockdown; it has been no mean task. The propriety is very driven and has excellent ideas. The menu of vegetarian dishes was absolutely wonderful: we had a delicious soup, really tasty main course and a dessert to die for! Totally first class, and as prices that won't burn your pocket.

Fantastic place we spent our anniversary and could not have asked for a better evening. The food was honestly delicious and beautiful and the service was amazing. The gentleman on his own tonight was an amazing guy so kind and lovely towards us we have the best service and can see that The Mango Tree really cares for what's best in this world...
